Xperia T won't charge when off - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

My Xperia T won't charge when switched off an trying to update via PC companion was unsuccessful especially when it got to point where I had to reconnect the phone ( by holding down the down volume key). The only update I received can only be executed via PC. But most importantly the phone won't charge when switched off but does charge when powered on. Any help.

there is an option called "Repair my phone" isnt that the same thing.. i did it already,, nothing happend,,
If you didn't flash/update or made any ROM changes before the battery was running empty it might be a phone/battery or a charger problem.
Try charging the phone for 1-2 hours with another charger, if it doesn't boot it might be a problem with the battery or the phone charging circuit, this should be covered by warranty.
Try http://www.sonymobile.com/fr/tools/update-service/
That works on most of dead Xperia Z
no luck!

SONY XPERIA T wont turn on {SOLVED}

Ok phone was working fine, it was charging and at around 51%...
So I decided to do a re-boot using power button and vol up key and it reboot fine, but for unknown reason
I pressed the power & vol up key again and it vibrated and then turned off while the phone was on and charging.
Now the phone wont switch back on and the red light (charging light ) does not show when connected to charging or PC.
I have tried both flashtools stock firmware ftf and PC companion repair..both time, it fails to connect to PC when connecting via the USB port.
I have also installed all relevant sony drivers for my phone.
Hope someone can help?
Thanks
It's turn on!!
I'm shocked!!
Problem solved!!

[Q] [Problem] Can't connect USB and can't charge unless i reboot

Hi,
A few days ago i tried to connect my phone to the computer but the computer started making connect and disconnect sounds repeatedly. The phone wasn't able to connect to the pc and it didn't charge. I tried another pc with the same result, i also tried other cables again with the same result. But the phone still charged when I connected it to the charger.
Last night however my phone also stopped charging(AC). It was 1% when i woke up and it refused to charge (tried different chargers/cables). I only got it to charge the second time i turned it off and connected the charger. So, the usb port does still work, sometimes when i shut the phone down.
Is anybody familiar with this problem or do you think it's a hardware problem and should I bring it to the store.
Thanks,

Xperia Z bricked issue

Hello, my xperia z bricked suddenly while I was gonna flash a stock rom with flashtool (I used flashtool many times before). I just turned off my phone and then prepared flashtool to flash stock rom (kitkat). When flashtool said to connect the phone in flashmode, I just press the volume down button (while turned off) and connect the phone with pc. But nothing happens then. Phone doesn't response. Pc/flashtool couldn't detect my phone and also my phone doesn't response. No led light, no vibrations (holding volume up+power button for 5/10 seconds), no led indicator while charging. Nothing. Just died suddenly :crying:
Then I dissembled my phone and disconnected the battery connector from motherboard. Then I connected it again and plugged my phone to wall charger and charge my phone (no led light appeared that time while charging, phone just heated up) around 20+ hours. After that I got a red led light whenever I plug my phone into pc or wall charger. But the red led turns off after around 30 seconds. From then, whenever I connect the phone to wall charger or pc, red led appears and after around 30/60 seconds, it disappears again. I don't understand what does that mean So,
1. is it hard bricked or soft bricked?
2. is there really any chance to fix that problem by myself? I unlocked bootloader so there is no chance that sony will fix that 'brick' phone.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks guys.
You can try s1tool to flash your Bootloader.... Search the forum, u can follow the tutorial.... There might be a hope

just try to have the usb cable conected to your pc and hold the power button and volume up till it makes a vibration ,and then hold volume down even if it does not vibrate it should still conect to flashtools .

Lollipop Upgrade Problem -> battery charging problem

Hi everybody,
I upgraded my Xperia Z to Lollipop. Immediately after that I got the following problem in the order described:
- Phone was at 80% after upgrade.
- It was not charging after the upgrade, and I had no more connection to the phone via USB anymore. Also PC Companion did not see the phone anymore.
- The battery drained after some time so the phone went into "brick-mode" because connecting it to the pc via USB, nor connecting it to (different) wall chargers did not charged the battery.
- With the phone compeletely empty, I just left it connected one evening to my wall charger, and when I woke up the next day the phone was again completely charged to 100%.
- But no the circle starts from the front again --> no connection to PC and not able to charge the phone until it goes out completely, waiting for some hours connected to the charger, and only then it starts charging again until 100%. I also once booted the phone before it was at 100%,.. even then it will not go on to charge when the phone is on, NOR will it continue to charge when I shut it down again manually (so not let it drain to 0%).
Does anybody had/has the same issue? I think it is a waste not trying to fix this because the phone is still in a very good condition.
Any advise would be helpful, thanks, Pieter.
