My verizon LG G2 mic went out. They sent me a replacement phone so now I need to remove root and twrp and set it back to factory defaults. Any help would be appreciated. I did find some info on using the nexus root toolkit but I don't believe it supports my phone.
Thanks!

Ok I'm still new to rooting so sorry if this is in the wrong place or sounds stupid. I got my lg flex about a month ago. i rooted it at 4.2. I didn't know that when 4.4.2 came out it would take my root away. well now when i try to use ioroot24 it cant find my phone after i toggle the usb mode. Any one got any ideas?
You cant root KK yet. If you REALLY want root, follow the tutorial at the G Flex General forum for going back to stock. You have to use the lg flash tools to flash stock .tot and then you can re-root. Thats what I did.
I rooted yesterday using ioroot 25 after stock flash and upgrade to Kit Kat on the Sprint LS995 version. It does it via update from adb in the stock recovery

Yeah after having a horrible update and getting caught in a boot loop I went back to starting over with lg flash tool to 4.2.2 taking the OTA to 4.4 and then ioroot 25 I tried the automatic method first and it rebooted to recovery and then choked so I selected apply update from ADB and adb side load kk_root.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48709232&postcount=869 check the section under not working for manual root method

My phone showed that there was an update available to KitKat and without thinking about it I updated. Now I noticed I do not have root access. SO I figured I would just root again, so I looked up a YouTube video to root LG Flex running KitKat. Did that but didn't work and I've now read that you can't root with KitKat. I can't find a thread that explains whether you actually can or can't root on T-Mobile LG Flex D959 with KitKat and if I already updated, how exactly do I go about rooting or back to before the update. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Not trying to be a dbag but always read through the android development section. I just read through the ioroot thread and it seems that the only way for you to attain root access on the D959 KK is D-FUSE's rooted rom. You will need to downgrade first though and follow all the outlined directions. Watch the video tutorial if need be. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52553477
I am currently running my N6 unlocked, rooted and with TWRP on VZW. I want to upgrade to 5.1 without "having" to revert back to unrooted stock (unless it is highly recommended). What steps should I take to accomplish this? Maybe it isn't as complicated as I think as I have manually rooted devices using command prompts versus tool kits in the past. Or is the answer simply to wait.
Thanks! If this has been asked I have not found it or was to vague for me to risk it and brick my device.

So, I said the hell with it and flashed the official Google image using Wug's tool kit and following some instructions from another thread. Had to re-root and install recovery but all is well!
I've tried to install recovery for my lg flex ls 995 (sprint) without any luck can anyone help me? I'm rooted and tried with Freedom Flex and ioroot without any sucess.

I just did a sprint flex this morning and i must say...one of the easiest processes. Go to last page ioroot and download stump, run that then download freedom flex and flash twrp. Im going to update to 2.8.5.0 twrp right now, ill post success or failure for that in that thread

I have an AT&T Galaxy S6 using a Cricket sim card. It is running 5.0.2, and unable to update through Smart Switch, OTA, or Best Buy. I want to root it and then flash it to 6.0.1. The baseband version number is G920AUCU1AOC9. Can anyone help me?

I know there is a post to get to 5.1.1 with odin and then a link to the pd6 sideload to 6.0.1 look in the general section.

I have all of those files downloaded but I want to root my phone first, is there anything special I need to do for that? I can't use twrp on my phone because of AT&T

you will lose root. There is no known root for 6.0. There is a hack for 5.1.1 but I never tried it.
