Hi, i am so sorry for my language, a' m from Ukraine. & Now i try to explain you my rare problam. Just bought ls995 with bag on screen, it always ghosting with one inscription: " Can't play this video" and "OK" to tap. I need to know, is it hardware or software problem and how to fix it.? Software version is LS995ZV7. Can't load photo to forum, cose, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages
Are you saying you have burn-in on the screen? That the "Can't play this video" text is always visible?

Kitkat is acutally in UNOFFICIAL/ALPHA-Phase so bugs are there, i think we should wait for nightlys ...
Have you restricted any rights for the app with the privacy guard? Maybe disable it for this app and test a second time ...

When I enable the "OK Google" voice command in the settings, there are usually options to enable the command from any screen, however that option is not present on my Z3c. Any ideas on how to get this to work?
Thanks
QUESTIONS DO NOT BELONG HERE.
That being said, what you ask of is there. go to google search settings, click on voice, go to ok google detection. from there, check from any screen box, and it'll have you repeat ok google 3 times to learn your voice. then on, it's from any screen.
Sorry about the question.
As I stated in the post, the option "from any screen" does not appear on my settings.
This is a picture of the screen I come to in the settings.
is it in English?

Yes, it is.
Hi
You can try setting your phone language to US English and updating the Google Search app. It may appear then.
Alternatively you can download an app called OpenMic+ which may help...
I have the option on my phone and it works...problem is when you enable it the stock camera app sees it as an app that is using the mic all the time and it shows an error. there is currently no fix

Turns out the app needed an update, figured the brand new phone would have the latest update!
Thanks
Just to note, even if the application is updated, if it has never been opened, it still wont offer the option to listen from any screen, unless you run the application at least once.
hey guys. I just got the LG G Watch R today and it's been a lot of fun to play with. however, when i use the "ok google" command to send messages (this happens on my phone as well, an HTC One M8), the message does not show up in the text messaging history. is audio history required to be on for these to be recorded? much thanks!

If you look below looks like at least 2 of us are having similar problems, although it is showing as sent on the phone doesn't actually send the text. Still waiting for someone to chime in myself and see if we can get it figured out, not a complete deal breaker but it does kinda stink.

thanks for replying. actually though, we're having different issues. for me, the text does go out, because i'm getting replies. however, my phone doesn't record what i've sent, so i can forget what's gone out and will get a reply to something i don't even remember. because i'm forgetful, i reaaaally wish they had a fix for it, and i haven't been able to find any sort of fix. or anyone else with this issue, for that matter.
see, i was in the middle of typing something earlier and forgot, so i deleted it -.-.

I was experiencing this also using an HTC One M8. It would show the message if I enabled SMS in Hangouts but then the message didn't show in the default messaging app. I decided to purchase Wear Messenger and use that instead. The app is worth it IMO for the ability to see my text message history/threads alone.
Hi wondered if anyone can help I've got an intermittent but increasingly regular issue. When I click on links in emails, Google search app and other apps I get screen flickering and an "open with" box come up at the bottom. The only option in it is android system but the screen just flickers until I close all recent apps. Annoying me to the point of returning the phone so thought I'd post on here. I've tried to attach a screen shot and screen record file on here but even though I can select files nothing shows up here when I select them. About done with the bugs on this phone. Not worth it.
Anyone having this issue or know what may be causing it?
Sounds like malware... better get looking.
Factory/passwords reset if you can't find the cause soon.
Zero tolerance for malware...
if you have fooview installed, it could be from there. you need to disable the foo view macro
Could you make a screenshot and post it here? Is it a notification only? What does it say exactly?

Wish I could but it only appears on head unit randomly when driving. It appears as a standard text notification toast with phone number of caller displayed.
