Man i feel the luckiest person in the world! why?
1. since android came out, except HTC android one, i have been sticking with LG
2. Optimus One -> Optimus G -> G Flex -> G2 -> GPro2
3, So i am already used to one system upgrade throughout handset lifetime
4 as soon as my GP2 outdated, man i thought lets try sony this time, so the (almighty) ZR
5 i bought it still running JB 4.1.2
6 Then 4.2.2 came along, I feel normal
7 then 4,3 comes, i feel excited'
8 then 4.4.2 comes, i feel i hit a jackpot
9 then 4.4.4 comes, man i was like WTF
10 Now 5.0 news comes, do u know how i feel?
i want to run up himalayas and proclaim "i love sony!!!"
chill 1st let a FW get certified .... den we can enjoy.. remember after getn certified it take 2 weeks or a month to roll the update..so hopefully by 25th we get certified

Może masz jakieś restrykcje związane z Operatorem? Ja mam w plusie i bez problemu widzę apkę.
Maybe you have restrictions related to the operator?
i'm too using Xperia T from PlusGsm..
Main question
is this app require JB?
My Xperia T comes from Orange Pl, locked bootloader, google play says it's not available for my device, though i downloaded the apk from the forum, anyone mind telling me how long does the learning of usage process lasts? after almost entire day it's still learning.
I've been using it for a few days but I did uninstall it yesterday due to bad battery drain after the last update, I emailed the devs and got this reply....
" thanks for your feedback. We have tested this today and we are finding a problem on this device, our testing is showing that the BatteryGuru Wi-Fi Management feature is somehow causing problem on that particular device with that version of Android. For now we recommend disabling the Wi-Fi management option in the BatteryGuru settings. We’re investigating at the moment and expect to have resolution next week.
*
Thanks again,
Snapdragon BatteryGuru Team"
I've now reinstalled it to give it another go but my battery is struggling at the moment I made a backup of it with "App Backup & Restore" from the market before I uninstalled it yesterday, lucky I did because now it's showing that it's not available for the T, so I'm guessing that they have found the issue and are hopefully going to fix it and re release it to us

Location-based Wi-FI is system apps of the the 2012 Xperia. I recommend turning off the Wi-Fi Management, too. Maybe that is cause of the crashes.

Good idea, but I never had the location based WiFi working, on first release the app was working normally, no extreme battery problems, then on it's first update it went mad so who knows ?
Anyway I've uninstalled it again now, battery life was just to bad for me

Awesome!
Are there still any known bugs?
EDIT: Alright.. Tested. Timeshift and some other camera addons fc on starting CameraUI.
Rest of the camera (Superior Auto, HDR, Picture Stabilization) working pretty well.
Got one graphic glitch upon starting the camera.
Will restore a backup as the camera seems to slow down my entire system (especially mounting of internal storage.)
But really the best Z1 camera port so far!

First impression!!!
Flashed via CWM, after boot up started the camera app and got FC. Then i decided to clear all camera features cache in apps - cleared all and force stoped them, then launched again and works fine.
Thanks a lot for the camera EXR!!!!
Tested on SXTX stock 67, deodex, with honami ports.

EDIT 23/4/2014
---------------------
Build number 10.5.A.0.XXX most likely denotes Android 4.4 KitKat, given that 10.4 firmware was Android 4.3; 10.3 firmware was Android 4.2 and 10.1 firmware was Android 4.1. However, EMMA is a tool where different people have different access levels and there is no doubt this is an early test release, there’s no guarantee this will be the build that will hit phones next month.

EDIT 24/4/2014
---------------------
Today , XDA Member "DooMLoRD" had released some screenshots for the 4.4.2 update of Xperia Z
Here are the screenshots :
Thanks DooMLoRD !
Changelog
Here's the official change log of the upcoming Android KitKat update:
Google’s Android 4.4; KitKat as standard – bringing performance & UI optimisation… We’ve added our tweaked Status Bar and Quick Settings… now more intuitive and customisable (and pretty easy on the eye)… cleaned up to ensure you only get the notifications you really need
If you’ve got a Sony PlayStation 4, you might recognize our new user interface – we’ve added the same sleek launch animation and livewallpaper across the lock and home screens
We’re also uplifting Sony’s entire native app portfolio to the latest versions – bringing tweaked / improved / current experiences for (to name but a few): Messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, TrackID TV, Sony Select, Smart Social Camera and…
Sony’s Media apps: WALKMAN, Album and Movies, with Sony Entertainment Network cloud service integration – a more converged and full Sony entertainment experience – Sony Entertainment Network & PlayMemories integration with a more intuitive UI, better download speeds, and more!
Our unique custom interface experience: “Xperia Themes”, with downloadable UI packs from Sony Select – skin up to 280 assets across your Xperia smartphone with a variety of styles, and more to follow soon…

This is running on the N7 2013 (flo).
Hang fire on syncing though - we're still getting everything sorted to bring an amazing experience with Android 5.0. There's a few bugs still being sorted out, so you will need a fair few patches and tweaks to get builds going.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that "it's happening" A big thanks to @XpLoDWilD for doing all the ninjamerging of the new repositories.
Contributing to Omni
As a reminder, devices without an active device maintainer won't be receiving L, as the core Omni team are currently working beyond capacity. We'll be adding more folks where possible to do this, but this is where we need *your* help - this is the time to try to encourage your device maintainer to get involved. We've struggled by with keeping Android 4.4 going, and without more contributors, it will take a lot longer to get to where we want to be with Omni.
We've got a huge roadmap of ideas and features, much of it on our wiki, but without contributors, much of it gets nowhere. Omni is a ROM inspired by what YOU want, but we can't make that happen without contributions from people like YOU.
We're looking forward to getting Android 5.0 out and in the wild as part of a custom ROM, as soon as we can, but this needs a lot of hard work, and more hands always help! Interested developers can find us on #omni and #omnirom on IRC.
Great news! Why am I the first one replying?
I've read your article on the homepage about the poor quality/buggy state of Lollipop. Now we all know how Omni is about good, clean code and stability rather than being the first to release something that isn't ready for prime time(for eg Theme engine/multi-window) using hacks or "fixing" stuff by simply treating the symptoms, not the cause (pardon the analogy).
What is your opinion/solution about this issue?
Great.
GREAT !!
happy to hear that ! keep going guys !!!
Is that Omni with a prebuilt kernel? Or is it just an AOSP build with edited build.prop?
Way to go guys!
Great job! Looking forward to lollipop on GT-I9300

I was using my z1 since it gone out and it is beautiful smartphone at exterior & software. Sony made awesome work with this one. But recently the Japanes company are not going well...
- Economical problems -> Sony Mobile reduced number of workers -> Less support & more time between updates.
- Bad marketing plan -> Too much smartphone models on sale -> Short lifetime of each model.
In other hand we have some new companies like Xiaomi, Oppo, One Plus and others that are making great models with powerful hardware and beautiful interfaces. I'm not big fan of Lg and Samsung because they have too mutch bloatware.
Sony has shown me that can create great devices! I had Xperia Arc S, Xperia U and Xperia Z1 and all of them was great.
The question is "Will you buy Sony smartphone in 2015-2017?"
(Sorry for my bad English)

Yes . When my z1 will dye i will buy another Sony phone .
Can you say mr why?
Because of powerful hardware , premium materials look and feel , wather and dust prof , great battery life , good camera and sound , great ui (no fancy and usless functions like other phones) is is just fast and without lag. I don't buy middle range or low range smartphones fom Sony or others . I will go just with the flagship . If my z1 will die soon i will buy the next flagship from Sony . Srry for my bad english
Yes.
I bought the Z series for the great hardware and the unlockable bootloader, to flash a custom rom day1.
Same here. I like the design and the water & dust proof. Also, i like the camera quality, not over saturated and great noise reduction (But i prefer Z2 to Z3's noise reduction. )
Although i was little bit dissapointed with their software update timeframe, XDA is still here to support it.
Since it's also trending here, sorry for my bad English.
I've been with Sony since my first android, Xperia X8(Sony Ericsson) → Xperia J → Xperia SP → Xperia Z1 . I had a lot of bad and good times but wilI always love their phone for its software and hardware design. But i'll probably change my preference in the future just to get new experience with other manufacturer. Why not try new things? I'll go for Nexus.(Always wanted that but it's hard to find that device here in my country).

That's right. It's about time for Sony to join nexus device development. Samsung,LG, and Motorola has done it. Btw, Nexperia sounds cool! :fingers-crossed:
