Hello,
Do all GPE roms require that the M7 be s-off?
Looking to flash a GPE rom however my phone is only bootloader unlocked as I have been unsuccessful at getting s-off (hboot 1-57). Other aosp roms flash fine but it seems the GPE I have looked at require s-off.
Thanks.

Try this, as far as I can tell it doesn't say s-off is required. http://www.droidviews.com/install-htc-one-google-play-edition-rom-on-standard-htc-one-m7/

Yes you must be s-off
if your serious about wanting GPe it's going to cost you $25 for the Sunshine s-off

If you go back to S-ON you may not be able to get S-OFF again.

Updating to 4.2.2 will change your hboot so probably not until a new exploit is found

Yes. Once you have s-off you keep it. So only go back to s-on if you're returning for warranty purposes, or you may not get it back again.

Custom roms no problem
Custom kernels maybe some require S-OFF to flash so read the OP to be sure
Also you will need a custom recovery

Not that I'm aware of. I meant you need to have a kernel that's compatible with your ROM or you'll end up stuck on bootup.
Firstly, please don't be too hard on me. I made a mistake with the stock rom. I didn't back it up. So, I am with ATT in the US, what ruu do I need? I currently have Android Revolution HD 13.4. And was wondering how the stock rom compares to the ARHD 13.4.....
Thanks
Andy

It all depends on what firmware you're on, base etc, and what Hboot (if you can't S-Off then you would be severely limited to what RUU you could run) ... ARHD is stock, apart from one or two added tweaks. It's identical in look and feel to stock.

As far as I'm aware there are no RUU's for that base, same base as me, and being that you are S-On and Hboot 1.54, you won't be able to use any of the older RUUs. The best thing you could do is to flash the stock ROM, also from the ARHD thread if you wanted to go to as close to stock as possible.

Search for the new "Firewater S-Off"! It worked for me, even without HTCDev unlocking (while using temp-root provided on the website).
Can anyone tell me if there's a RUU for Bell Mobility Canada? I've searched everywhere for it but I still can't find it. Thanks!

But I'm on Hboot 1.57 so I don't think it will work. Isn't there a kitkat 4.4.2 Sense 6.0 nandroid recovery? Cause this one is a 4.3 Sense 5.0, and I can't update it.Can't I restock it in another way? I need it urgently for warranty issues!!
Sorry for the mass of questions, I'm new to this.
