My browsers aren't recognizing that cookies ARE enabled. - Sprint HTC One (M7)

When trying to log into my ESPN Fantasy Football account every browser I've tried (Dolphin, Puffin, Boat, Habit, CS, Yandex, Naked, etc.) say 'Cookies must be enabled'. From what I can see they are. I've re flashed rom, cleared data, cache and cookies. I have been able to sign in before but now no luck It's quite irritating. Any suggestions?

Try format data.... Your entire phone including user storage will be erased and you will have to sideload rom.

Nook honeycomb market issue

Ok so I am running honeycomb v4 image from my sd card and love it. But I installed the market and other google apps and while it will show my purchased apps as well as other apps on the market, nothing will download it all just hangs on starting download... Does anyone know how to fix this...
Please I've worked on this for four hours and nothing...
Thanks,
Adan

I am having the same problems. I've tried removing an application and downloading it again, doesn't work.
I wonder what is going on.... I'm trying to reflash the image. The thing is I really want this to work as I recently picked up Spectral Souls and heard it works on Honeycomb, but from what I've tried it doesn't work on Froyo....
If anyone has any answers or ideas I'd really like to know...
Hi!
As I posted in the other thread, try clearing cache and data for Market as well as for Google Services Framework, and then reboot the Nook. If that doesn't work, reboot first and then clear (I don't remember which of the two I tried). That is, if you're ruled out more trivial connectivity problems looks like it was some sort of authentication failure in my case, which also prevented GTalk from working.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!
What if for some odd reason I can only clear the cache but the option to clear the data from the Market app is missing?
Then just clear the cache in other words, clear that which can be cleared from the two services listed above.
ok so it worked for 5 min i downloaded two apps and then it crapped out again. I am still logged in to GTalk so I'm finding this really weird

Hmmm, that is odd. Did you reboot after clearing everything?
If so, I'm stumped. Mine's been working fine since I managed to fix it!
well thanks for the help man about the 90th time i reinstalled the gapps the fix stuck and the market worked whew
question are you on 2.2.11 or have you gotten the newest version of the market?

Lg optimus black default browser cookies still not enabled

In my default browser settings, I already checked "Enable Cookies" but when I'm trying to log in in one of social networking site, it says my "Cookies are not enabled". How can I figure this one out?
Normally cookies are enabled by default...
So maybe you could clear data and cache in Settings -> Applications.
But beware! You will lose all your history, bookmarks, AND cookies during the process.
It SHOULD work after clearing the data and cache
Try clearing cache first and test, if still no good, clear the data.

Thank you! But sadly that doesn't work. Now it shows a dialog box when I'm loggin in, which says "Data Connectivity Problem: A secure connection could not be established." I don't know where to configure that allows the browser to proceed even if it's not secured.
mmm normally it writes this when their is no internet...
Just questions:
Are you using the default browser?
On which rom are you?

Yes. I'm using the default browser. I don't know what rom I have, my android version is Froyo.
I'm actually using a promo from my network carrier which gives me a free access to one of social sites using my old phone ( Nokia C3 ). And I'm using it for years. So I copied the link from my old phone to my LG phone and now, it doesn't work for my LG. so that's my problem. That issue above occurs.

[Q] Gmail crashing on launch on CM9

My girlfriend wanted to get her mother a tablet to play with and since my fire sale TP was just gathering dust, I decided to slap CM9 on it since they've already got a WebOS one and are complaining about the lack of apps. I got Gapps loaded so the Play store works and I downloaded a smattering of free starter apps (like Angry Birds) from my account because she needs to get her own Gmail addy to get her own stuff.
However, Gmail crashes every single time I attempt to launch it. I've rebooted, un/reinstalled the app, cleared the cache and the Dalvik in recovery, but Gmail won't stay up. I've been unable to find anything online because most Google results are about getting Gapps going. What can I try now? Thanks.
What gapps did you install it should be 20120429.
I'm pretty sure that's the one I used. Other apps downloaded OK and seem to run; just Gmail is barfing.

Go to settings>Accounts>your google account. Click on it. Make sure Gmail is checked. Reboot. Clear cache and dalvik and you should be good to go (I hope )
Good luck.
Edit: You can also try the gapps fixer utility. It's here in the forum somewhere - a search will turn it up.
Does the Gapps Fixer thing have an effect on apps themselves? I thought it was just for fixing the Play store not working?

Gmail was the one thing NOT checked and the moment I checked it, it started syncing and opened Gmail. Didn't need to reboot or anything. I never would've thought to look there. Thank you very much!

Drive - Don't see previews can't open pictures

Can anyone reproduce this?
On my N5 & N10 (and Chromebooks) I see previews of content in my Drive just fine.
On my N6 its just the pictures that don't preview nor open. Rest of the files don't preview either.
How's that for you?
Pretty SH!T as I rely on that...
sorry, bro. drive on my n6 is working as it should with the thumbnail preview.
i'm assuming you've uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. only suggesting that since it may be the simplest solution, other than clearing the apps cache/data and signing in again. not sure why it's doing that to you. is it happening on both wifi and cellular?

Yes, I've cleared cache and data, re-installed, cleared cache from recovery, signing out and signing in again. Pretty annoying.
Yes, happens on both wifi & data.
Well.... I flashed system.img from Google and it works again now :good:
And it stopped working again.. pffff
Stock ROM btw, decrypted and rooted, FK.
Turns out it was "my own fault". For future reference:
After removing http://adblock.mahakala.is/ to the host list in Adaway (that was the only thing different to my other Nexus devices) and activating Adaway again it definitely works now.
I replicated this 3 times.
All is good now!

Blank Emails

Can someone please advise how I can restore my emails. At the moment whenever I open an email it is blank. I tried a few tricks like switching Developer Oltions on and off, clear or delete cahe of email app. I 3ven tried deleting chrome and reinstall email app. I have a note 9.
Thank you in advance.
What email app are you using? I assume you are properly logged in? How far back do you have the app syncing emails?

Sir, again thank you for your response. The app which I'm using is Aquamail and I actually had to reinstall the to answer your question on how far back I'm syncing. All I can say it's very far. Total of almost 6000 emails but the other app us doing the same. I know it has nothing to do with the app itself more about something on the system. It happened to me before but I simply can't recall what I did to fix it. I was thinking of reinstalling the Rom however I'm sitting with another dilemma. My OEM disappeared with my last installment of the Lightroom. It's been over 7 days and it never reappeared. I'm not so sure of taking the chance of reinstalling the Rom which I feel is very necessary at this moment because most of my apps if not all of it crashes whenever I open it
Thanks
Try wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery Mode. If that doesn't work back up your device and perform a Hard Factory Reset.
