Since yesterday, I can't receive any sms on my XPeria T but I can send and my friends receive them... so I called my carrier and they tell me to test with another phone and it's works (on blackberry 9900) so I reset my XPeria T, put again my SIM card but it's not work...
Why ? :crying:
My XPeria T is dead ? (It's running on android 4.3 / 9.2.A.1.205)

Use another sms apk,or check <sms setting>-<SMS center number>.

I already do this and made other adjustments, I configured manualy my phone,.. but before it was working great... maybe hardware problem ?

any idea how to change the SMS service center on Diamond???
when I try to send a SMS I get a message that the message cannot be sent and that I need to check my SMS Service center number.
When I put a different SIM card from the same provider it works normally. Also when I put a SIM card from a different provider everything works OK.
I have searched through Diamond forum and haven't find any relevant information.
However i did notice that people had issues with this one in some other WinMo phones.
I tried 2 ROMs and the same thing happens:
SwiftBL 6.0 and panosha Shine On 1.3
My SIM card works normally in other phones (Samsung etc.)
Any ideas on this one??

Since then i turned the phone back to other ROM's but the problem stays.
It is the problem with the Telfort Provider en other providers will send it directly.
Strange problem.
But where is the problem? In the phone or with the provider?

I had the same problem with 1.93.456_Radio v1.00.25.05
1. Turn back to only stock Radio version (may be Radio v1.00.25.03)

2. Or, change your sim card with a brand new one.

I've got the same problem with a Telfort SIM here in Holland (after flashing from 1.37 stock to custom 1.93 ROM, not sure if it worked on stock). Couldn't find an easy way to change the SMSC myself. It proved hard for me to send an AT+CSCA command to the Diamond. And I haven't found software that uses SmsSetSMSC from the Windows Mobile Version 5.0 SDK. So I could write it myself, but first I'll ask if Telfort will let me try a new SIM and see if it'll send SMS, because I don't want to return to 1.37..
Definitely a new SIM, I don't want to stick to one ROM just because of that...
By the way, provider is Telenor Serbia

I'm back from the Telfort shop. Showed the girl behind the counter how I couldn't send SMS and change SMS settings. Swapped SIM's. She could send SMS with my SIM on her Nokia and I could send SMS with her SIM on my Diamond.. I'll get a new SIM for free, problem solved.
Good evening to all, i'm new here, i just want to discuss the experience that i've went through using a SMART prepaid LTE Micro Sim to Xperia Z C6603, so far, i've been troubled by the SIM because the phone cannot detect any connection even if it's not LTE(i think my phone is the problem). but first let's discuss the sim, i went to the office of SMART(Philippines) SM Ecoland Davao City to confirm my complaint regarding their connection. but worse to worst., they cannot do anything about it(FYI the SIM worked on other devices such as SAMSUNG Galaxy S4 and HUWAIE[forgot the model sorry ]), so after the results, i went to Sony Service Center Located at Gaisano Mall of Davao City, after i've complained about it, they said that there is still no LTE here in our city and yet my sister's phone which is using another network provider is now in LTE mode, after she shown her device, the staff of sony was in silence for a few minutes(haha) . Think they know it all right?.. so after that, they tried and tried and failed. Their last attempt was to update my firmware to 4.2.2 jellybean(Sony update). But it still fails. haha..anyway, if you guys have some idea on how to fix this , please message me here, or send me a mail @ [email protected]. Thanks guys. and I really appreciate the help .

Try checking your supported basebands by tapping in on your dialer the following:
*#*#SERVICE#*#* where Service is keyed in numerically. Sorry don't memorize the number sequence. Hehe
Make sure you have LTE supported as a baseband.
Another way is to try and flash some stock ROM's. You'll find a lot on the forums.

Hey there, thanks for helping me, actually i've done what you've asked me to do and yes it is capable for LTE, i think there are many bands supported by Xperia Z , It actually supports LTE_BC1,LTE_BC3,LTE_BC5,LTE_BC7,LTE_BC8,LTE_BC20..
anyway, can you give me a link on how to properly root my xperia z, i just got it updated to jellybean 4.2.2 yesterday. Thanks a lot man. you did well.
Did you receive any SMS from Smart for setting up your data? My phone also had that problem and was unable to connect to Mobile Data. I don't exactly remember what I did but it's somewhere under mobile network settings.

Hi all ,I'm having HTC one unlocked version using in India ,had purple tint issue hence sent for service to Houston,Texas.received back with changed camera,great one !! Than updated to 4.4 kit Kat. now I'm having issue of sudden drop of calls randomly while during call, device shows invalid card for few seconds & than reconnect network.the service provider says it is not the problem of their service!! .
Now I want to know anyone having this kind of issue ? Is it because of service at CS or of update. Or service provider??

some people had luck by just adding a piece of tape to the backside of the sim card to make it a bit thicker. some had to get a new sim card drawer / or sim

U mean to say it's because of loose fitting SIM ? But didn't had this issue earlier. !!

One of my friends got xperia z1 4.4.2 build no 757 and suddenly phone stop registering to network.
it can find the provider in the list but can't register on it.Sim cart and network are fine because it works on other handsets.
please help my friend

I use 925V in Europe and have an issue. I cant send sms and I dont have sms centre settings( its hide I think)
So maybe If I will innstall int firmware on my device it will work correctly?

Put simply no you cannot put it on it. We have bootloader locked down tight on our devices.
So where are no options?

No, sadly not. At least not until a bootloader unlock becomes available.

Verizon locks you out of the message centre settings, so as far as I know you can't change that as it's supposed to update when you put a new sim in it.
