No sound

I recently replaced a digitizer and lcd on a HTC HD7.
Since reassembly there isn't any sound.
If someone rings me i can talk to them and i can hear them, however if i play music or play a game, or if the phone rings i cant hear anything.
Anyone know what i need to check/replace? The phone still vibrates to touch and calls and i can hear people when in a call. Just no sound from music/phone ringing/apps/games.
I don't remember pulling the speaker when I replaced those components. Do you get sound through the head phone jack when you play music? If you do then I would say that you have one of those little single click in connectors that are not properly seated.
Or maybe you where too violent when you removed the the ribbon style circuit board from the housing. If you where a little too rough with the part that your battery hides then I would say you got away lucky. If you used more force than you did heat to remove this part then you where too rough.

[Q] My device's speaker is giving a buzzing sound after some water damage...

So I dropped my phone in water, it remained there almost for 10 seconds. I have already heard about that nano coating stuff so i was not worried but when i checked if everything was ok or not I found out that the lower speaker was making some buzzing sound. I used a hair dryer to dry it out but it won't work. I have kept my phone in a container with some dry rice but I don't know whether it will be ok or not. Please give me some suggestions because I love those stereo speakers.......
if I can't save them, is there any way too block the lower speaker????
Thanks

[NEED HELP] Volume decreased drastically

Its been two days my phone's volume of speaker reduced so drastically with disturbance . Calls are not effected i have tried every media YouTube and everything . Can't do anything. What should i do ??
Which rom?
No rom official software bro
Hmm.. sounds like a hardware issue, tried to clean the speaker with a toothbrush? Play a song or something else, put your mouth on the speaker and try to "suck" carefully (yeeeeeessss I know it sounds funny but try it haha)
I found that even tho the phone is IP68 waterproof, if water gets into the speakers, they get really quiet and far-off sounding.
Try taking it out of it's case (if applicable), drying it thoroughly, using a dry toothbrush, and leave it out to dry for a few hours. Put it in a bag of rice overnight. See if that makes a difference?
Bag of rice was not available. I tried dryer and it worked ??.

Nokia 8 loudspeakers/headphone jack

Hello,
Maybe someone can give any tips in regards to the issue below. with my nokia 8
So few days ago my phone speakers started sounding distorted, I thought that it may be because water got in the speakers, as I put it on the counter by a shower, but even then the water it could of gotten was minimal due to the shower curtain and yeah. Well now the speakers are completely offline. I haven't installed no apps or updates.
Today after sound was already gone, I tried some apps that disable headphone jack, which ofc didn't work.
The earpiece is working and mic is working as well. When I plug in headphones, those work as well.
The weird thing is I tried blowing into headphone jack and I got sound for a brief period of time.
Now started more testing and well when I apply air pressure (covering headphone jack with my mouth and applying small amount of pressure) speakers work. Tried cleaning the headphone jack and nothing, only when air pressure is applied it works.
As a tech guy I can't imagine what could be wrong in this case, as there are no visible signs of water in the jack, there is nothing physically wrong with the phone other than the lack of sound and why would applying air pressure fix it and how to permanently fix it without warranty. I don't want to take it to warranty as the service usually takes a long time and I can't do with a temp/spare phone right now.
Hopefully someone can help me out,
Thank you
Even though your phone might have been only a bit splashed, humidity from the steamed bathroom could easily get inside, since Nokia 8 is only IP54 certified.
Try drying it like a water dumped phone. Turn it off, take out the SIM card tray and put the phone in rice. Let it lay down for at least a day. It might work, but if it won't, well, you might need a repair service.
well for oxidation you don't need to drop your phone into toilet, even small humidity can brake your phone, electronic is very sensitive

Speaker and earpiece volume

Speaker and earpiece volume has reduced. How can I clean? Is it possible to fit Rog5 speaker in place of Rog2
for slight cleaning use a toothbrush (medium hardness, preferably get a new one as a "dedicated" electronics brush) and just brush over the grills for few mins per grill. Dont be tempted to "push" the hairs down on grill, will yield opposite effect as it will push gunk further into the speaker area, just brushing should slowly bring it out/loosen it up, after which use a speaker cleaning app (yes, its a thing : d, it emits just bassy tones to "vibrate" gunk out)
