I use D955 Eur version. Am having this same issue, i have 2G/3G around me, but i only receive 2G, dialed all the secret codes but cant access
WCDMA Only/Modem settings/RAT or Network Mode
Says not suported for both options.
Meanwhile I use Etisalat NG which have UTMS band as 2100, how can i possibly fix this issues please. Any help?

Your Post is confusing.. You network provider is 3G or 4G? And What's not working? 3G or 4G?
If 3G isn't working then u have to change WCDMA settings and if 4G/LTE isn't working then you should look LTE settings

my phone is unlocked and i use tmobile service..
they just switched on LTE in my area.. and its working great.. i assigned a new APN (fast.t-mobile.com) and i get upwards of 18Mbps.. but..
in my house.. the LTE signal is 1 bar.. most of my calls go straight to VM and i sometimes dont get texts for hours..
in my house the 4g signal which was the default before is 3 to 4 bars.. i never had a problem receiving calls and texts when its on 4g.
so it seems now they have LTE service the phone favors that no matter what the signal is..
i cant find any options in the settings to turn off LTE and just use 4g.
i guess you can disregard this question.. i installed CM10.2 and it has the option to only use WCDMA instead of LTE..
this fixes my issue

no the original firmware did not have the option to select GSM/WCMA/LTE only.
the CM10.2 has 3 options.
WCDMA/LTE
GSM/WCDMA/LTE
GSM/WCDMA only.
along with a use 2g network only check box..

hey guys i just got my 4g lte sim and i have an unlocked lg g flex d955. Now, I can't find a 4g or lte toggle on my phone. In mobile networks, it's only letting my select either gsm, wcdma or gsm/wcdma. So how to i enable 4g lte on my phone?
thanks
Edit:
ok so I enabled lte via the secret menu using the code in the dialler app and 4g is now working but when i restart, it goes back and i have to enable it from the secret menu again. any way to permanently set this??
Use *#*#info#*#* for network mode
Or Build.prop editing.
Make a nandroid 1st and Use Jrummy Build.prop editor from Google play. U have to be rooted.
Ro.telephony.network =9
thanks for the reply. yes I have used the code to switch to LTE. I am not rooted so cant do build.prop editing. Is there any other method? I'm surprised why 4g lte option is not in settings by default in LG flex :s

If you don't have LTE network and enable LTE or Auto LTE it will consume more battery due to signal searching...
Set ur network Mode to GSM WCDMA LTE
oh yes it is set to GSM WCDMA LTE. i meant there is not GSM WCDMA LTE by default in my phone in settings app and have to again and agaain after rrestarting in the secret menu to set it..
Use 3845#*955#

Hello,
Can I use verison version of this phone in Europe (serbia, slovenia...) normally? Can I turn off 4g/LTE if I need and use only 3g/hspa connections? In my region 4g signal is pure and I have a problem with battery and signal. Does secret menu *#*#4636#*#* works of this version of phone? Thank you.
U can use this phone. Just replace with a local sim card. There is an "unrecognized sim" icon constantly in the notification bar, but other than that everything works the same.

I lived in Spain with the g925v and it does work, but only on 2g/3g, no 4g LTE signal. By that time I was running Android 5.0.2, I believe that with the updates the European LTE band is usable now but I can't assure that.
You can turn off the LTE antenna accessing the menu with this code *#27663368378#
I have a paid-off Sprint LG G4 LS991 (firmware ZVG) that has received the over-the-air Domestic Sim Unlock from Sprint. I'm trying to use it on a T-Mobile account (actually Teltik reseller). The sim is not rejected and I can add/edit APNs and have added one with the recommended APN settings from Teltik. The phone connects to T-Mobile for voice, sms, mms and data ok, but the data is EDGE only and does not connect to LTE.
Can anybody suggest what to do to fix the LTE?
I do have the MSL and have looked in a lot of the hidden menus and didn't see anything. I don't have root on the device and there seems no way to get root on firmware ZVG. I have tried some of the shortcut menu apps but they seem to lack permissions to do anything, plus I don't know where or what to look for.
I've seen in other posts on the internet:
- Set the APN Bearer to LTE. However, the APN add/edit screen does not list a "Bearer" field.
- Set the mobile data mode to "Global". However, I couldn't find such a setting anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

so it appears that most of tmobiles lte bands ar not suportted by your device
now u have to look up where u live and see what bands tmobile uses in your area and compare them
it seems as if tmobile only uses 1 or 2 of the bands and if thas not what they are broadcasting where u live then ule never have lte

Most places I've looked up TMO LTE bands list Band 2, 4, and 12, all of which are supported by the LS991.
Edit: This link indications 100% band compatibility of LS991 with TMO: https://www.frequencycheck.com/carr...-g4-ls991-td-lte-lg-p1/t-mobile-united-states
I'm convinced there is a settings or config issue preventing this from working. I just need to know where to look.
In other news, somehow the phone improved its connection to HSPA from EDGE, no changes on my end.

Are you actually using a Sprint LG G4 on Tmobile?
more update:
found the LTE roaming setting in the hidden menus. Enabling that forced a reboot and now LTE is working!
I can't find a way to reorder the LTE band priority though.
However, now MMS is not working, not sure why that happened, so working on that now. If I can get MMS and LTE at the same time, I think I'll be set!
