Hello,
After the OTA update, my Vivid doesn't want to turn on at all. When I connect it to USB I get QHSUSB_DLOAD and nothing happens.
Any ideas ? Thank you !
Your phone is done. There is no way to fix the problem beside getting a new phone.

I wouldn't say that. Since the chipset could be written, it is not completely dead. Sensation users have already found a fix for this, but it is a different chipset.
We don't have the files needed to recover. Either you need to get it replaced under warranty or insurance.

Which OTA update? As far as I know AT&T and Telstra are the only two carriers to have released their ICS update OTA. If you're actually on Voda in Romania I don't know what would have possessed you to try installing one of those two OTAs.
..
The phone is from AT&T. It didn't have any sim card in it when I got the update.

yeah man theres no way sorry. at least for now.
to be honest, ur best bet is to call htc service and warranty and see if you can ship it to them

i've sent them many phones for repairs under warranty, and all but 1 didn't get fixed for free
Does it vibrate if your try to do the bootloader combo?
No. It doesn't react at any keypress.

Serious Help Needed
Hello everyone. Sorry to even waste your time, but I am in need of help with my HTC Vivid. I am on an unrooted, locked bootloader, and I have been trying to upgrade to the newest ICS OTA update that I missed with the dialer code.
I have downloaded the PH39IMG.zip, and it updated my HBoot to 1.85.0024. This is where I am stuck. The phone will only show HTC on startup, and then goes black. Again I am on an unrooted HTC Vivid. Any help would be hugly appreciated. Please help out a simpleton.
Thanks for your time.
Unlock the bootloader in fastboot.
Flash recovery in fastboot
Flash boot in fastboot
Flash Rom of your choice

Did you run the PH39IMG file twice? it needs to run the file twice to complete updating the HBOOT. In any case, and this goes for all who are not very familiar with Vivid flashing, USE THE RUU!
In your current state, try to boot into bootloader (you probably already know the process, but it is power + vol down from power off state) Once you have booted into bootloader, you can proceed and upgrade to stock ICS. If you decided to run custom roms after, it is easy and much much less likely to brick your phone.
Hallelujah
Thanks so much guys. Those were helpful tips, and I have ICS running now. Thanks again. Have a good one.
this is for a friend of mine , he managed to get his htc one stuck in a bootloop it wont load past the htc one logo .

He's likely getting that because he's got the wrong RUU.
What has he done with his phone? What firmware version is he on?
If you can get into recovery simply doing a wipe and reflashing the ROM will fix a bootloop.
hello my htc one m7 sprint keep randomly rebooting and i tried restoring the phone to stock with the ruu but the ruu isnt working just keeps sending for hours and hours i need to use my phone i need some help please!
I am having the same exact problem! It just started doing it to me randomly 1 day. Luckily I made a backup threw my custom recovery and was able to back up. It seemed to help at first, but then it started doing it again!
I think it has to do with updating a certain main app or something like that. Because I restored once more and did not push any sort of app updates and my phone has been working fine. But now I am trying to just un-root it and get it back to the latest version of stock. I had enough of this crap.
Sorry if my post wasn't a great help but I just wanted to say that I am having the same exact problem too.
*EDIT*
I recommend checking this link out, it helped me. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2790853
My Virgin Mobile HTC Desire 510 is stuck on HTC screen. I just got the phone in April and need it to last me 2 more months. It is not rooted. I removed the SD card and have tried everything from the boot screen including a factory reset to no avail. What are my options? I really need to get this working again ASAP. Someone somewhere mentioned something about "flashing" it, but I don't know what this means or how to do it, or if that will even help me with this issue.
Please help!
Edit: I should mention that my computer runs OSX 10.9.5 (in case I need to download some programs) and I bought the phone in the US.

The only thing you can do in your case with the limited understanding of flashing is to just download the RUU (Rom Update Utility) from the HTC website for your phone and run it from a computer. I don't know of any that can be used on OSx so you'll need to figure that out. The RUU will repair and restore your phone to factory default settings.
I need help, after installing a wrong ROM to my HTC One phone. Everytime i turn it on it always boots on "Fastboot."
I'm really tired of looking for a solution but I cant fix the **** out of it.
Thanks!
