Thanks.

Screenshots!
I just installed the official ROM on my device (P705)
I ended up taking a few screenshots to show how it is. There were some changes in your visual (which were very welcome). The camera had changes, along with the gallery (could not catch her screen).
My device does not have NFC, but the option exists to be activated (installed a European ROM)
The font of the system can be changed (Roboto and LG SmartGothic [that comes by default])
Below is some screens I made for my device. You are in PT / PT, for there was my language (PT / BR).

This is a custom kernel based on LG D802 source.
More features will be added soon.
Features:
* Compiled with Linaro toolchain 4.8.2
The kernel isn't pre lokified so it needs a recovery that has built-in loki support (for now you can use my twrp build):

I'm guessing this doesn't work on the Verizon version right? But either way I love that people are liking this phone.
Thank you
I just dumped an emmc of the D803 kernel off my device. If I upload it, could you maybe take a look and see if there are any glaring differences? Maybe it is just a few changes to allow it to work?

I'm guessing the hardware is nearly identical on all G2 versions except the korean one.
But yes, if you could provide a boot.img (and aboot.img for loki support) from a different device version i could check for compatiblity.
You have added algin novelty to the kernel, everything works correctly.
Great job, encourage and forth ....
Thanks for the development
Sorry by my english!!!
Here is a boot.img for the D800, which is ATT version. Is this what you needed or do I need to do something special to it?

Not Working
This is not working on D802 for me. If it helps, I have a D802B.
I tried on both TWRP 2.6.3.0 and TWRP 2.6.3.2, both show a boot error due to certificate verify. Bummer! Was stoked to have a custom kernel finally!
@Heatshiver
This is (for now) only working with a recovery that has built-on loki support; as the provided kernel needs to patched on the flashing process.
It must show something like:
[+] Detected target International LG G2 build D802b
[+] Loki validation passed, flashing image.
[+] Loki flashing complete!

I am confused then. As I used your recovery and another without success... I simply rebooted into recovery, flashed the zip, then rebooted. Is there a step I'm missing?

I updated my recovery a day ago, maybe u are using an older version that has no loki support yet.

No, this won't work on "my" version. Please go the download link on his thread to use it.
@Wootever that was exactly the issue. Any chance you can update thread with what features/benefits this kernel provides over stock?
There isn't much added yet. However im planning to clean up the code base a bit and merge it with the latest caf msm8974 revision (qualcomm kernel repository), then i will add more features from faux kernel (fauxsound, intellidemand, uv/oc, etc).

A little over the top...maybe. But I don't blame him for feeling that way, it's annoying when people constantly complain about no dev support when a) they don't step up to the plate and do it themselves, or b) they have no idea if there is actually devs or not (which we have a good amount of even though they are fully active on the thread yet, cooking a Rom doesn't take two days you know ;-P).

No, I've asked Moto already and they said they are in Xmas shutdown and the source for KK won't be available until next year. You can back up your boot.img and give it a shot, if not then restore.

I can't believe I am using a faux kernel like I did and do on my nexus devices on the moto g. It really starts to get fun! And I thought I downgraded....
The way I see it, this device is dev friendly with the cheap price tag. Its a "might as well" device. Unlockable boot loader on a moto device is where its at. I've had many moto devices and the hardware is always well put together.

[ROM] Steel Droid v1.0.9 BETA (MAY 13)

Steel Droid - Now for the G2!
This is my first attempt at a ROM for the G2. I can build one from source, but wanted to try my hand at modding a stock OTA.
This ROM is based on the Verizon 24a OTA. That being said, you must be using a 24a bootstack for this to work.
This is a blended ROM. Kind of like what some of you might remember from my Droid 3 days. Mods, additions, bloat removal, and eventual theming.
I DO need some help with deodexing and odexing. If you want to lend some knowledge/files, PM me!
Changelog:
v1.0.9 (BETA)
* Removed SOME bloat from /system/app/
* Added xdabbeb's 3.1.0 Camera mod
* Added in my custom ad-blocking hosts file
* Optimized and compressed all audio files (ogg)
* USB autorun ISO removed

To all those having trouble downloading:
This is the only place I have right now that will let me upload a file over 500MB. I will eventually be getting my own website/hosting, but thats once I get my finances in place with enough extra to afford it. Im close, but not quite where I feel comfortable with it yet.
AFH just upgraded their severs, so things will be mirroring for a while until the system is back up to date. Sorry for it being slow, but its all I have right now
If this boots, there's a high chance I will begin to include Dorimanx's KK kernels in my releases. His kernel, combined with his STweaks app, is basically unbeatable. Wish it played nice with xdabbeb's ROM, but oh well. Maybe in time...

******ATTENTION****ATTENTION******
THIS IS IN ITS VERY BETA STAGE.
------This is PLAYFULGOD's ------
-CM11-20140709_Unofficial_D959-
All thanks and credit goes to Playfulgod
Thanks to TEAM CODEFIRE for the ability
To "BUMP" our boot.img's , kernels, and recovery.img's. Without "BUMP" we would still be on 4.2.2 to have cust. Recovery. Or on 4.4.2 and reflashing to stock every few days to keep going. Lmao and thanks to PLAYFULGOD for testing "BUMP" for us.
All I have done is replace the Meta-inf folder and "BUMPED" the boot.img and did a few things in the build.prop to get it to flash without errors, boot, and stay booted.
I've taken it ad far as my knowledge of android can get it. Feel free to chime in if you have a cure for whats not working.
I'm posting a link to the updated CM11 and the LOLLIPOP GAPPS I use to flash with it.
I am not responsible for what you do with this or your device. Nor did I build this CM11 I just modified it as much as I know how to get it to the point its at now.
DISCLAIMER: This is a CUSTOM' ROM! Use at YOUR OWN RISK!!! By using this ROM, you understand that I am not liable for any or all consequences of using this ROM. If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T TRY IT. Use at your own risk!
At this time, this is only for Devs and/or people who think they can assist in fixing the issues. It is in no way ready to be a daily driver!!!
Also, you need to make sure you know how and are comfortable with flashing, restoring, fixing any mishaps that might occur on your own. At this time is a development thread, not a hold anyones hand on how to install etc, etc, etc. This statement isnt meant to be mean, just no general support will be offered at this time. That will come when the builds are in beta or stable.
Here ya go folks, CyanogenMod 11 for the G Flex (zee)!!! Well, let's be honest, unless you're living under a rock, you probably know what Android 4.4 (kitkat) is. CyanogenMod 11
What is this?
This is a build of the popular CyanogenMod 11 for the LG G Flex. This is built from source.
People to Thank
* PLAYFULGOD - most importantly for building this from source.
* CyanogenMod - Do I need to state why we owe thanks to these guys?
* koush - for his wonderful recovery.
* the G2 Devs - for all the work on the g2 which this is all based off of.
* savoca - for kernel patches.
* MattWheat - for recent updates
*Team Codefire - for "BUMP"
* [vertigo] - for vendor blob experimenting!!!
****UPDATED CM11 Build 2014115****
******Whats Not Working?******
1. Camera (of course)
2. Absolutely no sound from anything or anywhere. Its so smooth you can't hear it vibrate but it does.
3. Phone - it opens, you can dial but when you hit send it freezes on the dialer screen then closes then about 5 secs later the call screen comes up then call ends. But it never really called. Can't receive calls either.
4. So far that's all I have found not working.
What is working
Everything else seems to be good to go.
It gets DATA --4G LTE, 3G, H+, and H.
You can send and receive SMS and MMS even pics
Email seems to work and any apks that communicate with data. Hangouts dialer does not.
Gallery works.
Screenshot works.
I used the LOLLIPOP ANDROID 5.0 GAPPS Cuz I like material feel. But I suggest 4.4 GAPPS and up.
WiFi works.
Tethering works great too. Streamed Xbox live all day on it.
I did not check Bluetooth let me know.
Changelog
****update****
Confirmed working on:
T-MOBILE - D959
AT&T - D950

Really? I installed it on my d950 ATT without first reading your message. Works so far.
Edit: wow it installed without a device check? Cool, but not cool. Anyways it looks like a good build overall, just needs audio and then it could be a daily driver. I also suspect that the DSP is preventing calls.
Oh well cool. I didn't know for sure and with out testing I didn't want to say " it should " then get pages upon pages of people asking how to unbrick
Im really happy to see this. ATT is doing a promotion for 15gb and $30 off but you have to keep your phone for another year. Ill be happy to keep this phone now. Thanks dude

Really? I installed it on my d950 ATT without first reading your message. Works so far.
Edit: wow it installed without a device check? Cool, but not cool. Anyways it looks like a good build overall, just needs audio and then it could be a daily driver. I also suspect that the DSP is preventing calls.

Could you provide screenshots of it running on your AT&T D950 please so we can have full confirmation it does boot. And doesn't brick. Thank you.
I'm Trying To Get It Going On My D950 Also But I Can't Get The Zips To DL. Whenever I Hit The Link It Just Takes Me To The Preview Of The Inside Of The Zips.
What Am I Missing Here...?

Check out the pic. There is this whole new thing called downloading and download button. I'm not sure what its all about but I believe if you click the circled "download button" it puts that stuff on your phone.
Lmao just giving you hard time man yeah for some reason it fades away and you have to retouch the screen anywhere and it along with that whole top line re-appears... Try that out. And when you get it booted will you provide screenshots for AT&T confirmation that its working.
Thanks.
Check Out This Pic.
.Probably Because I Was Using Chrome Browser That Top Bar Never Showed Up. I'll Try With Dolphin Browser Since That Is What You Use Thanks
I was looking at the G2 forums and its development and I thought it was declining. Then I had a look at the G flex and saw there's barely any. Good thing they have you, Matt!
works!
Sooo.. It Does Work.
It Failed The First Time I Tried. I Disabled Loki Support Then Flashed Again And It Did Work. Flash 5.0 Gapps & It Booted Fine.
Upon Booting I Kept Getting An FC . Something About "ACore" (Screen Shot Didn't Save idk)
Skipped Past Set Up Then Is Rebooted. Booted Up Again & It Did The Whole "Android Is Upgrading" Thing Then Rebooted Again & Seems Like Its Running Good Now.
On The About Phone It Does Show LG-D959 & Not What D950 Which Is What I'm Really Using.
Everything That Works And Doesn't Work Seems The Same On This D950 As The D959.
Any chance a Sprint version could appear?

I Used This ROM On My D950 For About 3Hours
Other Stuff That I Noticed That Didn't Work Include.
•Knock On & Knock Code
•Notification LED (front & back)
•Bluetooth Turns On But Doesn't Pair.
•Battery Charges Super Slow & Drains. (Even While Charging & Using)
•USSD Codes Dont Work. It Just Stay Idling.
Along With The Other Stuff You Stated That Is Not Working.
All I Can Remember Right Now. Very Beta ?

I just got home from work, getting ready for SOA and drinking coffee, after the show I'll get out my camera and do a walkthrough of everything and post a link for you.

You don't bump the zip. Before zipping you bump the kernel and boot.img.
