[Q] Increase incoming voice volume - LG G Flex

Sorry for the stupid question ..... how do you increase the incoming voice volume on a LG G Flex .... can't figure it out .

Hi,
While on a call... Pressing volume up should do it. ?

Watch the screen to see if there's a volume slider and that it's increasing while you push volume up.

If you mean ringer, should be phone settings, sound, volume.

[Q] wake up HD7 with home/camera button

Hi everybody, I was wondering if there was the possibility to wake up the screen with another button instead of power, that is very unconfortable to push. First of all I wanted to ask if it's possible to use one the 3 softkeys on the screen (home, search, back). If it's not possible how about using the cam button? It's a physical button and it's in a more confortable position please let me know..
may be
up till now there is no method

hold the button cam 3 sec

Found another way to access quick settings.

If you pull down the notification bar and do not lift the finger you pulled it down with then swipe up from the blue bar of the notification shade with another finger it brings you to quick settings.
It sounds more complicated than it actually is. I find it very useful myself.
I haven't seen this mentioned. Apologies if it has.
I'll never do this. But awesome discovery!
Threw some thanks in your direction.
No need to swipe, just tip the blue bar with a finger

Or just pull the bar with 2 fingers

Yup. You're right about the tap. no need to swipe. Thanks for that. No more wasted gesture on my part.
The two finger pull down is a advertised feature we knew about of course.
The tap I don't recall seeing though. It could be that I am just turning into a old fart that forgets things though.
It's a cool discovery, but kind of pointless if you ask me. If you're going to need a second finger to tap, you might as well do a quick pull down, then tap the box in the corner. But I guess it really depends on how you're holding the phone. I can see how this new method would work really well if you're already using the phone with two hands. Pull down with your right thumb, then tap the blue line with your left before you finish pulling down and your quick settings will be open once you complete the pull down.
Yeah. That's how I use the device often at home hanging over the side of the bed.
What I like is that when you pull down the shade for a regular notification you don't have to let go and reach all the way back up to the top right. My basic usage example is wake up prior to a set alarm going off on the phone. Pull down and get quick look at missed calls, emails and SMS then just tap tap to go kill the alarm.
Will also do basically the same thing for work where I loose signal. Pull down and look. Tap tap I am airplane mode
Tiny little things but I do enjoy it. Kind of strange that can't switch back to the regular pulldown though from the quick settings. I would like to be able to save the reach up to the to accomplish that as well. Seems silly that it doesn't do that.
Nice, thanks
This is a result of the 4.2 implementation with 2 finger pull down, as you pull down, you add another finger on the bluebar, it thinks you are pulling with 2 fingers

Disable Capacitive Buttons on CM10.1

Morning People,
I have enabled the on screen navigation buttons for CM10.1 but hate how the capacitive buttons continue to light up.
Is there a way I can stop this? Either by deactivating them or just turning the light off?

Unfortunately not.
Possible solution
Hi there! I wanted the same for my Samsung galaxy mini 2, cm10.1, and found the following. It worked for me..
rootzwiki.com/topic/31065-tutorial-how-to-turn-off-capacitive-buttons-lights-and-use-on-screen-nav/
(with http) (it seems new members cannot post outside links).
As for the backlight, in my settings there is "advanced" menu, right below "apps", and you can turn backlight off there.. Don't know if it will work for you.

Also, for me, the appropriate file to edit is /system/usr/keylayout/sec_touchscreen.kl..

I think I found the root of the problem.
The problem comes from enabling Accessibility->Services.
I had the "Greenify" enabled there. After turning it off keyboard start to work as before.

Watch notifier is the culprit. Switch that off and language switching comes back.
Actually, I had to disable ALL apps not just that one.

I solved the issue by deactivating the Speed+ engine under Accessibility
