I recently play around with ROM Flashing.... don't know much but just use:
* AUTOREC flashing and recoverying
* Flashed with VS98024A, 11A, 12B, 26A, ... and ROM FAIL and boot looping my phone
Onlye SPIRIT ROM 4.4.4 KitKat work fine and Stock ROM VS98011A ... the rest doesn't
Could anyone help getting me back to WORKING on 24A or 26A Stock ROM please... now my phone is crazy boot looping can't even go to download mode.
Cheer,
mKHMER
Did you take a stock backup? Like as soon as you had root and recovery? Hold down power and volume down until you see LG screen, release buttons and hold again- white screen will come up asking if you want to do a factory reset-- hit power twice and you will be in TWRP recovery. And in the future Search the threads before flashing ANYTHING- it will make all the difference in the future.

Go check in your application drawer (apps list) and it should be there with the title as CWM
Also check for the superuser.
And for flashing roms got to recovery by pressing volume up+home button + power button at the same time and holding them pressed till the time the screen shows Samsung Galaxy Note GT N 7000 and leave it as soon as this logo shows on the screen.
You DON'T have CWM Recovery installed. Search for Dr Ketan's guide in the Android Development section and install CWM Recovery through that. After you have CWM, you can easily install the ROMs..
Is it getting stuck towards the end of flashing the rom? Does it get stuck at md5 stage when making a backup/resotring from one?
Same thng happens with me. I just flashed the redpill recovery and it works fine, except for the fact that every time i boot itno recovery i have to re-flash redpill b/c it keeps going back to clockworkmod recovery.
Hope this helps, even though it is not a full solution.

Which rom u using and which kernel ?
So i just got a brand new LG G2 , wanted to start straight with a custom rom, read that it was safest to take the 11A onwards route to be safe cause the new way the bootloader is flashed may cause hardware issues.
So i flash the11A tot
Root using IOroot
install PhilZ recovery using Flashify
then from recovery pushed the 11A to 24A zip.
i tried installing the Malladus rom however it completed in 5 seconds and i dont think it really flashed
Rebooted to TWRP ( Which i suppose came from the malladus) tried the same, ofcourse did the factory rest too , still the same
Then tried sideloading which gave me the error code 7
tried another file which just didnt push itself
What am i doing wrong here , if someone could shed some light the best way to get from 11A to kitkat would be much appreciated.
i have installed the TOT now back to 11A.
nm figured it out , had to reboot recovery post updating the bootloader for kitkat
Hi guys....I have a few issues....my Verizon LG G2 is rooted. I have twrp 2.7.0 as my custom recovery. It won't let me flash the newest update! As well as it randomly reboots on me...it's annoying. Also I tried to flash cm12 and gapps and is said it was successful. Well it sent me through a bootloop and thankfully I was able to manually enter recovery mode and restore to my previous back up. But what am I doing wrong?! I need help! I'm new at this. Thanks!
PS. I used vs980_AutoRec.apk to get TWRP
I assume you are coming from stock which is kitkat based. CM12 is jb based, so you'll need to flash the 12b bootstack (found in xdabbebs thread)before installing CM.
Hi Guys,
I am using Zues rom 6.4n on my OB. Huexxx included G-key recovery so whenever I got bootloop and if I had Zues Rom Installed, I can easily go in recovery mode.
Strange thing happened today. I have recovery 6.0.1.4. I did take backup of Stock rom first and Installed CM10.2. I found some bugs so rebooted in recovery, restored backup (stock rom). When I restarted my phone, it couldn't even see boot animation. Phone got stuck on LG logo. I had to use smartflash tool to revert back to stock rom with root. That time since I didn't have Zues ROM, G-key recovery didn't work.
Can anyone give me any solution on this? Also, can anyone help me how to create G-key recovery zip file which will help when phone gets stuck in bootloop?
Thanks,
Sumedh
Hi, yesterday i update cm12.1 to 0918 build but i facing freezes and heating issues (the system hangs and i had to force reboot), tried to install tangerine kernel to change governors but no effects.
So i decide to reinstall a previuos build, i uninstall t-kernel and return to twrp_v6. But when reboot to recovery i have bootloop and cant enter to recovery, so i flash back the fota kernel to have back the cm recovery.
Now i cant even boot the phone, when press the power button i see a blinking green light and then nothing.
Should i try to flash back sony stock rom (4.3)? or a way to recover the boot partition? and if starting from 4.3 i can flash 5.1 or pass by 4.4 (i remember the first build of lollipop requires a 4.4 rom to install)
EDIT: i found tangerine 6.6 and fastboot, the phone boots, but after the kernel logo stop loading. if trying to go to recovery i have bootloop on twrp logo. now i cant shut down the phone.

Shutdown your phone by using the yellow button on the back.
If you want to recover the boot partition, I'd suggest you to flash stock fotakernel and boot.img of your ROM using flashtool.
Open your ROM zip with winrar and extract the boot.img from there.
the yellow button only reboots the device but after some bootloops shutdown itself. reflashing fota and boot not working, so i finally managed to reflash stock 4.3 with flashtool. thanx anyway
EDIT: i think (but not sure and no proof) the issue was caused by latest twrp recovery

you need to hold down the button for like 10+ seconds,
once it vibrates 3 times, stop holding it.
The phone will shut down.
Glad your prob was solved.
Welcome
