com.android.phone has stopped when turning on wi-fi
- Clean flash. Took OTA from 10b to 24a
- md5 match up for rom .zip and baseband .zip
- tried using stock 24a baseband as well as the linked baseband
- cannot navigate to settings to attempt clearing cache for phone or SIM toolkit
- tried once turning network to CDMA/LTE and still, the same error occured
Any suggestions?
have you tried flashing to 26B before jumping to Cloudy?
Some have also claimed success going from an older 1.x CloudyG3 and straight to 2.1.
I have not updated to 2.1 yet because of the several issues currently present. 2.0 has been working very well for me.

Since I cannot seem to find information anywhere... what's the state of 5GHz on the bionic? In the advanced options it appears to be available, but in M12 its still not functioning. Did they get it up and working on late revisions? Can the driver be pulled from other phones? Supposedly there is a working driver for Gingerbread here but can the work be migrated?
I know the reasoning was that it interfered with some cellular signals, but with those bands unused I dont see why it shouldnt be available. With 40MHz set on my router on channel 11 it still only gets 30Mb/s over 2.4GHz. Best result I've ever managed but I assume I can do better.

If you flash a rooted ROM you'll be rooted. If you flash an unrooted ROM (and a stock ROM is unrooted), you'll still have to root.
Kingo is a lot easier than flashing a ROM is all you want to accomplish is rooting. Flash a ROM if it's different than the ROM you're running, and you want those differences. (If you're at NB4, use Kingo 1.5 or earlier, the latest one (1.6, IIRC) won't do NB4.)

Help me plaese. A very need JB. I did everything according to the instructions several times, but nothing came of it. After setting all the items, the phone does not start at all. Cyclic reboot. Recovery also does not start. Please help me.
