[Q] 4G Frequency with Software - Verizon LG G2

Dear friends, I have LG G2 VS980 but I'm not using Verizon. My service provider supports 4G service at 1800MHz but VS980 does not support this frequency. I want to ask that if I install a custom ROM (International), then will it support this frequency(1800) or not?
In short, frequency is software dependent which may change with software or its a hardware?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] ROM Flashing Question: Changing band frequencies possible through flash rom?

Just a question from a newer Motorola Milestone XT720 user. Now to my knowledge, my Canadian provider Rogers runs on 850/1900 bands and 850 for 3G. Now my problem is unlike my iPhone (I currently use the sim card from my iPhone 3G), my XT720 I assume is asian and it runs on 1700/2100 as most of you already know. So before I which to WINDmobile, which like T-Mobile runs on 1700/2100 and is the only Canadian provider that offer this, is there any way of flashing a rom to trick the device to change frequencies or any other techniques, or will I just simply have to switch over to WINDmobile services (unpreferable since it's a newer company, still not alot of coverage without roming fees)?
they're using different hardware, so no.
Ok thanks, that's all I needed.

[Q] Original Milestone on T-Mobile 3G?

Can the original Milestone run on 3G using T-Mobile?
Speaking as someone who has the original European Milestone, I can tell you that NO, the 3G radio does not work on T-Mobile. I'm not certain if it's true or not, but my dealer told me that if I go into roaming on AT&T's towers, the 3G will work with them. I guess it depends one what frequency bands they use, the euro Milestone is on 900/2100MHz. Edge works great on the other hand....
If you want a nice keyboard Android with T-Mobile 3g, go for the new G2.

[Q] Question about LTE frequencies

Hi everyone,
I live in Israel and have an HTC ONE developer edition PN07120.
I am using ARHD latest version, android ver 4.4.2 with latest radio and updates.
I am on a carrier which uses 4g lte frequencies of 1800 (and in the future will also use 2600)
I was told by the carrier that my phone will not work with LTE here in Israel (on this carrier)
My question is, is there any way to change the CID/MID/RUU in order to change the frequencies my phone handles? or is this a hardware issue and the only option is to physically change the antenna?
Thanks everybody and have a good day!

HTC ONE M7 verizon

Hi
I bought an used phone from some eBay dealer
the phone was on Verizon network
I am from Israel and using the local orange network
the phone works just fine except I cannot enjoy the 4g (LTE) network
when I put on LTE mode I just get no reception at all
maybe it is some frequency issue? (in Israel the LTE runs on 1800/2600)
how please can I solve this issue?
should I Install an appropriate rom for my network (where and how can I get it?)
or is it a hardware fixed frequencies which suitable for Verizon only and cannot be changed?
Thanks a lot

Verizon is a very US specific carrier they use there own CDMA mobile technology different from the GSM network world wide network.
Some Verizon phones are GSM capable to allow call roaming in different country's they call these "World Phones" but they do not offer any 4G services outside of the US.
Basically you will as far as I know only get 4G on a CDMA network in the US. Unless someone can correct me. :good:
Edit :-
Code:
So what's the problem? Why can't Verizon's 4G LTE devices roam internationally? First, there are few LTE networks built outside the U.S. But the main reason is that Verizon's LTE network and devices are not compatible with any other wireless carrier's network because the spectrum frequency and the specifications developed for its sliver of wireless spectrum is different from any other carrier in the world.

Can c6906 work on LTE frequency 1800?

I have a Z1 C6906 which is the Canadian model. It supports 1700 LTE but not 1800.
Where I live, our LTE network is 1800mhz, but my phone doesn't connect to it.
My question: Is there a way to somehow enable that frequency on my phone? Is this purely a hardware incompatibility? For instance, can I flash another baseband to enable it?
Thank you
