colour and video out of sync in the latest htc camera app - Sprint HTC One (M7)

This is a weird thing that only happens when I use the Full HD option on the latest htc camera updated from google play
I am using viper 7.0.1
No problem occurs if I uninstall the update and use the original camera app which comes with viper 7.0.1
or if I use a setting lower than full hd like just hd or lower

Is your auto rotate on?? Other than that I can't imagine what could be the problem... I use ehabfg's Rom... It plays fine... even miui...
Sent from my HTC Incredible S using Tapatalk
Ye auto rotate is on everything with video seems to only work in portrait dunno why?
I'll flash the Rom you are using now and see if it works thanks

call recording for the m7?

hi all i am running Android Revolution HD 5.3.0 and about to upgrade to 71.1 but i'm wondering if there is a rom out there that is just as stable and normal looking as these lovely Revolution roms that has the call recording option??
Nope, I did not found any ROM like that. You can use alternative option from the market tough, like Skvalex.

HTC one m7 choppy video capture

Hey guy's.
i've recently installed snapchat on my htc one m7. and i started to test it out, but for some reason, when ever i want to record a video, the video becomes choppy, i dont know how to explain it but it looks like the frames drop the moment i start to record video and the quality becomes bad. you can even see the choppy frames once snapchat starts to playback your recorded segment, even if i send the video to someone, the playback on their phone is also choppy. i've tried other 3rd party apps. such as Instagram and it also does the same thing.
however recording using the normal camera app is just fine. no issue there..
i've tried testing to see if the issue is related to my CPU being overloaded but it doesn't seem to affect it that much and i don't have any unnecessary apps running in the background.
btw i am running a custom ROM but with stock kernel.

What is a Working Camera+Camcorder App for Marshmallow?

Picked up a Moto X Play for family in Canada.
The Camera interface isn't the most intuitive, was hoping to use Google Camera but every app I seem to use seems to crash when switching from camera to camcorder mode, currently on the March security update for Marshmallow.
Does anyone else have this issue or can recommend a decent camera app as an alternative?
Try Open Camera or Manual Camera.
Yeah open camera is a nice one.The stock camera app is working normal on mine.Try to clean cache of the stock camera app.
Opencamera crashes.
Google Camera 2.7 is actually working, so the problem is with version 3.1 and later... Guess that's why they pulled it from the Play Store
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/camera/camera-2-7-008-release/
When switching from camera to video camcorder mode, it says 'Can't connect to camera' and crashes the app
Running version 5.1 and its working.Stock mm 6..0.1.
I should try a factory reset if i was you.

Sorry 5.1 of which application would you be referring to?
Google Camera only goes up to 3.2 and Open Camera 1.28.1

Sorry i was mistaken with motorola stock camera app. Maybe google camera is crashing because it cant find a gyroscope sensor which is needed for the 360 pictures.
Looking for a camera app as well; stock Motorola camera is too slow on launch in taking pictures or I itializing video. I've tried clearing data and cache. Google Camera works besides camcorder mode.
I used Open Camera. After installation, the first time I have it hung. Resetting and poked in the settings. In the "interface settings" disabled "show slope" and "show the direction of the compass." As long as such no longer hangs.

From camera option missing

I am using stock OS version and from past few days there is no front camera option in camera app, I tried many camera apps from play store, none of the app shows that option. Is there any fix for this please?
