"www.mangahere.co" Only showing up as a white page in Chrome - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know this is a pretty obscure problem (or just stupid) in terms of issues, but this is a website I normally go to when I'm on my phones. Anyway when I try to load the site it shows up for a breif moment while loading then when it finishs it just becomes a white screen. I've tested Chrome on my other devices just to make sure it wasn't just the website acting up, but this is only happening on my Z3C and I've also tested this on Wi-Fi and LTE to see if there is a difference, but I got the same result. I'm not sure if it the pre-installed security software or what. Once again sorry if this seems like a pointless thing to post.

i had the same problem. turning on ad block seems to have worked for me.

Strange problems (wifi, top toolbar, some unusual force closes) after froyo update

Hi there guys, I have a few problems,
1.)
I have unusual problem (like no one had before )... Sometimes I get an error when I try to enable wifi over top toolbar (on my Samsung Galaxy S). Wifi is like frozen, no signs of activity or whatsoever. When I go to setting tab and see wifi state it is shaded button and after some time it states "Error" just below same shaded button. When I click on it after it states error sometimes it fixes it self (i.e. turns wifi on), and sometimes I have to reboot it to work.
2.)
This one is a more strange than unusual problem )... Sometimes as it is some kind of collision, when I scroll down my top toolbar it just remains opened as big as a little line no more than half an centimeter of a width. And I can't get it down to fully see information (since after installation of some widget or application or when I receive mail there is everything summarized up there). I don't know if I had installed some game or app or widget which interferes with standard top toolbar?
3.)
Some force closes when browsing Internet (via stock browser) or checking mail (via gmail app) are really annoying, but I was looking for related problems here on forum and it looks like "nothing unusual" for Froyo users....
Are there any solutions to these problems or any related thread that I have missed in my search so you can reference me to or if you can give me some solutions or at least explanations of these strange/unusual problems?
Thank you in forward . I really love this community and one day I will do Android programming too. I really need a kick start (this is not topic related question) ... can you tell me how can I get some applications fast up and running and which books/video tutorials to use to quickly become android developer / how much time is needed (I have devotion and zeal in my toolbox and I have some programming background in Java )?
Respect!
Factory reset?
Well I really want to avoid that solution any other suggestion?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I have all problems you describe as well, I did a factory reset (3 times in total since froyo - for these reasons. the last time I formatted the internal SD card as well, just to be sure) and they remain.
The notification bar might be caused by an app, I am still not sure, but I disabled my quick settings shortcut in the bar and the 3G watchdog notification which indicated I am using 3G and it has not happened since. Rebooting the phone also works.
I have the WIFI thing as well, it happens and works exactly like you say, I press it again and it fixes itself - or not. Weird.
Browser force close and gmail force close happens here as well.
I am contemplating bringing it to a service center but I am unsure if that will solve anything or if it's just buggy Samsung software? Any ideas?
Froyo - Galaxy S - Status Bar Problems
Any one guys? Are we only two people on the internet having this issue?
Can someone at least elaborate a bit?

[Q] Stock 2.3.3 issues [other than battery problems]

Note: I just blogged about it and planning on posting on few Googler's twitter to see if we can get some attention to fix these issues, if they already haven't started looking in to these! If you are interested, please visit "Is the latest Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3) OTA update for Nexus One buggy? "and share your experience with Android 2.3.3 on your NexusOne's the Android team can get a bigger picture of these issues! More the merrier!
By now, I have reset to factory default couple of times but still after about 50hrs of usage my Nexus One starts acting freaky! Performance slows down, launching apps gives me black screen, lock screen freezes until I receive a call and not answer it and finally forcing me to reboot the phone.
Is anyone else aware of these issues or experiencing these issues?
I've had a few, repeated issues since upgrading to Gingerbread:
The stock messaging application will sometimes crash after sending a text message. The message gets sent, but the program closes out and returns me to the home screen. When I try to get back into the app, it animates like it is opening, animates like its closing and then gives me an error message about it not responding. I have found the only way to get rid of this is to reboot the phone.
Occasionally, all of the items - icons, widgets, etc - will disappear from the home screen. All I can see is my background image (just a plain JPEG, nothing animated) and cant get anything else to happen. I've tried to give it a few minutes (coming from Windows Mobile, I've learned to be patient) but it never came back. As expected, only a full reboot of the phone fixed the problem.
I've been having strange WiFi and data connection problems. Sometimes when connecting to WiFi it takes several minutes to establish a working connection; however most times it is pretty instant. The data connection will sometimes completely drop out and not come back on its own - even in areas with known good signal (I'm on AT&T, insert jokes here). Again, the best solution I've found is a full reboot.
I have heard some reports from friends that they have experienced issues with Exchange support after the upgrade, but I haven't seen it personally. Other than those above issues (which are very annoying) Gingerbread is has been OK. As I like to tell everyone, I'm sure glad my phone makes a cool TV of animation but can't seem to want to send text messages... Thanks Google?

You are right, I've been having those home screen issues as well, though my wifi connectivity seems to be fine so far.

I can confirm Gingerbread on my N1 facing similar problem. Riddled with bugs such as battery drain, Wifi, Exchange Server, Date format on Notification Bar, Awake forever, just to name a few.
REverted back to 2.2.2 More stable amid less 'cheeky' in term of UI.
Also had force close issues with launcher and other programs getting a black screen after about 2 days without a reboot. Got tired of it and went back to Froyo
I've had trackball notification issues. First it stopped working entirely. After a restore it now only blinks notifications if the screen is off. Once the screen is turned on (even if the phone isn't unlocked) it stops. If the screen is on when the notification is recieved nothing happens.
I'm experiencing battery drain that i believe is associated with maps and location services (the alogcat shows it checking in all the time!).
I've had the launcher become unresponsive to touch. You can use the trackball to navigate, its slow, and once you're inside an app it works fine. Need to restart.
I've had the blank keyboard show up and need to restart.
I'm probably going to switch back to 2.2.2 tonight...
Wow! The issue seems to have touched a lot of NexusOne's. I just blogged about it and planning on posting on few Googler's twitter to see if we can get some attention to fix these issues, if they already haven't started looking in to these! I have also been affected by the "black screen" problem after about 48 hours uptime. Returning to the home screen shows just the wallpaper and no icons. Pressing the "Home" button worked for a while to bring back the icons, but eventually most apps started showing some black screens and I had to reboot to fix the problem. I'm sticking with Gingerbread 2.3.3 for now, but it is disturbing after the multi-week uptimes I was getting under FroYo 2.2.2.

[Q] Apps mysteriously launching while locked?

I've searched for this and read through 23 pages on this device and didn't find anything about this.
I have this phone running 4.2.2 and activeroot.
About twice per day I will pull the phone out of my pocket, unlock it, and in front of me will be some app that I didn't launch. Not only that, it isn't an app that has a shortcut or widget on my home screen. Usually it's a page of something that normally requires multiple clicks to get to. (clicks? Punches? Pokes? Touches? What's the right word here? )
For example, today I opened the phone and was presented with a list of wifi connections. That is buried in Settings/Wifi/Connections. And I hadn't visited that page EVER. In fact, the last time I was in the settings menu, I was in Settings/account/more/battery but I had since used the task manager multiple times to kill everything that needed killing.Yesterday my phone opened to my calendar settings.
This bizarre behavior is really annoying. It's like it has a mind of its own. The weird thing is, my girlfriend's S4 does this as well. She's been griping about it for 6 months but I just assumed that she was somehow mistakenly opening these apps since she can be a bit dingy with technology. I feel bad now because mine does the same thing and now I'm wondering....is there a fix? DId we both get bad phones? Should I exchange it for another? I'm having some other issues as well but I posted them as separate threads to keep things cleaner.

[Q] Unknown App Flashing When Toggling Wifi

Last night I was at home and noticed my wifi wasn't on, so I used the quick settings in the shade to toggle it. After a few seconds, wifi connected, and some unknown app took focus and closed repeatedly. After a few moments, it stopped and all was well.
I thought it was strange, so I turned wifi back off and the same thing happened. I rebooted, tried again, and got the same result. I was trying to think of a way to see what was happening, so I tried using the Screen Record function in Gravity Box, which didn't help much, because it happens so fast, and no info is displayed, just a black window that goes away quickly.
I then turned on the CPU usage in Developer Options to see if anything consistently came to the top when toggling. I saw a few apps each time Plume (Twitter), and Maildroid (email) were two of them. Both of these apps behave differently on wifi and 3G/4G (push vs. pull), so thought -maybe- it could be something with that. I uninstalled both of those, rebooted and tried again, getting the same result.
I recorded the screen when this was happening with the CPU usage displayed, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas? I don't really want to uninstall and reinstall EVERY app on my phone, so I was hoping someone may have seen this before or see something I'm missing when watching it happen.

Thanks for any input anyone can offer!
Do you check virus from your phone ?
I am also having this, seems to be due to 4.4.2 OTA, which I continue to delay as I am rooted.
Mine doens't only happen with wifi change, but also just randomly when using hangouts, keyboard stays out but hangouts min -> maxes quickly. I have tried freezing the update apps but it apparently didn't do anything as I was still asked to update earlier.
Only hangouts? I have that app disabled.in the app settings.
I can't say for sure that being on 4.4.2 fixed it, but I am on 4.4.2 now and it is not happening anymore.
I unlocked my bootloader and did the 4.4.2 SBF, unlocked and rooted. I installed probably 99% of the same apps (only ditched 1-2 that I never used anymore) and I am not having the flashing issue anymore.
Hard to tell for certain if the pending OTA was the cause, but it may have been.

Beta? Where to log bugs?

I've had my new Seat Leon for a week now and have been using Android Auto a little in this time. I really like it but it seems buggy. For example when using maps, the images will freeze, only updating every couple of minutes. When you are trying to follow an on screen map while travelling at 60mph, this can be very annoying. The other bug I seem to have is that my car seems picky when connecting to my phone (Nexus 5) sometimes. It will say 'not compatible' and will refuse to connect. The only way to solve these two issues is to restart my phone and sometimes to also toggle the USB debugging check box.

Open the Android Auto app.
Tap the 3 dots at top right.
Select "Help & Feedback" and then select Feedback at the bottom.
I'm honestly not sure it will help too much though. There are no idle employees waiting for problem reports who spring into action at a new report.
But if Google sees 100 reports of Problem X, it might move X a bit higher in their priority list.
The freeze problem is actually new to Android Auto, and it started for me on July 31th. Google changed something server-side because even two clean installs didn't solve the issue, and it was working flawlessy until that day. No solutions found so far, had to switch to an iPhone to navigate. Read my report here:

That seems to be the same issue I'm getting. But strangely this isn't happening all the time. The pattern seems to be when I connect the phone to the car, set up the Google maps navigation, stop and disconnect the phone (for example getting lunch on my way into work), then connect again and continue the navigation. When connecting for the second time I get the issue whereby the refreshing doesn't seem to happen. As you say in your other forum post, this seems to update when you touch the screen.
Hopefully if this bug has only appeared in the last few days, hopefully someone will spot it and report back to get a fix. I've written a brief feedback note saying that I have found a bug and am interested to help them get it fixed!
I see a lot of people having problems with certain phones. I have Note Edge and never a problem. My wife has a s6 and used to have problems about 10 minutes into a drive (Black Screen, no control, most other probs mentioned here). Read somewhere if you load the "Android Auto App" on the phone first and then plug in. She has never had a problem Since. Something happens on App load that is not happening on "Auto Launch on detection" (My gut feeling is something to do with bluetooth). Just wanted to pass it along for those people having issues. I am sure google will fix at some point but give it a try and see if it solves your issues. It did ours.

Yes! If something fails with Bluetooth, then the AA connection disconnects. I hope Google fix this soon.
