I have an HTC one M7 phone but I hate most of the cases out there,
I want a knob clip case.
That's where there is a knob on the back of the phone case & a belt clip would hook on.
but all I can find are clip case with a big hunk of plastic with a clip & the phone case slides into it.
that's dumb in my book when it take my phone off my hip I have this big hunk of plastic jabbing me in my side.
what I'm looking for looks like this

I had an HTC Incredible & I loved that case but it seems like no one makes this kind of case for newer phones
So my ? is does any one know of a case that's like what I'm looking for but will work with an M7??

I was looking for SOME kind of belt case for my Streak (until real accessories are available) and I found this one at Target.
I ripped out the clear DS slip cover from the inside and put a few drops of gorilla glue about 2 inches down the side (the long side) of the zipper to keep it from opening too far... just so it is used as a slip case.
When clipping it to my belt loop via the caribiner it just looks like a "tool case"... It isn't the best, but for $10 it will do until something better comes along

Very innovative, some good information to know. Unfortunatley though everyone will think you are a ds junkie.

This official HTC tpu case has been very elusive since obtaining my hd7 back in November.
It is a bit pricy at £12 - (or £14 at the o2 shop) so I was wondering if anyone has actually paid for one and can tell me if it's any good.
I currently have a tpu case bought on play.com and it's not brilliant as I can not take a photo with the case on.
(taking photos isn't easy with the phone as it is!)
I bit the bullet and ordered one. I will update to give my opinion

Looks nice, but could add a bit of thickness. Let us know how it feels..
hi i have one already it is little thick fit the phone perfectly
feels good in the hand but i wonder why they keep this open area in the back
Hi, this is my first time posting here since I got my Nexus, so excuse me if it's in the wrong section (I felt this belonged here more than the Q&A since it has to do with a case).
Anyway, there have been markings made by my case on my Nexus 7, and since it's made of some soft rubbery plastic, I have no idea how to get rid of it. Pictures attached (The wedge beside the "n" in nexus, and part of the case where the wedge pops up from).

Any ideas?
If they're compression or abrasion marks there's not much you can do. If it's a loss of gloss, a vinyl protection product might help, but might make it slippery.
If it's that unsightly you could look into one of the many vinyl skins found on eBay.
New York based seller. $10.99 and free shipping. Looks perfect. My phone is white but I prefer a black case being a professional businessman. Dudes using white cases have always seemed a bit odd to me. Weird that I think white phones are cool but white cases look feminine. Oh well.
Only negative is no cutout for the earpiece. However, I always use bluetooth headset so shouldn't be an issue.

** One added benefit of this type of case is that the little nip that is used to clip it closed will also serve to slightly elevate the back of one side of the phone when I am writing in landscape mode and have the cover folded back which for me makes writing easier.
I am guessing with these that since you keep your OEM back on the phone that the NFC thing would still work.
One previous OP phones I used the nice lean but quality flip/wallet case and was disappointed I could not find one on the 7t accessories pages.
So I went after market and stumbled onto what seems to be a OP case but it could be counterfeit I don't know but its as nice as the others I used.
I carry my phone with only a screen protector and dbrand skin but at work I use a flip case. The after markets are wonky with silicone surrounds over the buttons. the add bulk, something I loath doing to a phone.
These do not cover the controls or mich/speaker ports. The phone is easy to insert and remove.

Does the screen automatically start in this case when it is opened?
