Hello guys, so finally we a great news that nexus 5 will be launching in india very soon...Thanks a lot google for this...so how many of you guys are planning to get the best from Google.?
Will probably sacrifice my Note 2 and get my hands on this. I just hope the 2300 mAH battery holds up against that of what i'm used to on Note 2.

I couldn't find a comparison between the S4 and N6 camera. Does anyone know how the two compare? I currently have the Galaxy S4 and was wondering if the Camera on the N6 is superior or rather the same.
S4 just by having better software. But the nexus take better pictures than the note 3 . I felt the s4 camera was night and day versus the note 3. Nexus camera is really good the s4 was great. But I haven't had the s4 since it was released so I I'm not sure how good it is now but back then I loved it. For some reason hdr on the nexus looks fantastic so for me if they just add more options in that camera app then it would be on par with the note 4. The stock app just seems dated.
Has anyone else used both phones? Id like to get several opinions
I've used both phones. The S4 camera looks like a VGA compared to the Nexus 6. Its also super slow, I can't stand using the S4's camera. I had one sitting in my bookshelf for s few weeks while I was selling it in eBay and I was not impressed with the S4 and its camera. The Note 3 took better pictures, but the Nexus is still better run my opinion.
hi guys, i have a galaxy s4, and i am thinking of getting a nexus 6 next year, the only concern for me is the camera, the camera in my s4 is good, so as long as the nexus camera is better then its fine with me, but whats making me angry is that you cant record [email protected] you think there will be an update to fix this??and is the nexus 6 camera a good upgrade over my s4??THANKS

L Camera allows you to record [email protected] - also the camera is better then the S4 (my wife had it). The only camera that might be better is the Note 4 and the iPhones.

thanks, the thing is i had a galaxy s2, and now s4, and i am tired of TW, its not bad, but after some time it looks dated, i have now cm12 on my s4 and i am loving it, sure, its not as smooth as the nexus 6, but it looks refreshing and new....
I know there have been some comparisons between a Note 5 and Nexus 6P. Has anyone compared a rooted/custom ROM'd Note 5 vs. Nexus 6P? I would imagine that a Note 5 w/o TW will perform so much better and may have different results when being compared to the 6P.
If the note 5 performs better than it already does it would be so fast that it would disappear from your hand and time travel.
The Note 5 already performs just as fast or even faster in certain situations than the 6p. So what is your question exactly?

I'm in the process of deciding which phone to get. All of the reviews of the 6P state how fast and how fluid it is with Marshmallow. I've played around with the Note 5 at carrier stores and it seems plenty fast to me even with TW. At the moment, it seems like the main negatives I read about of the Note 5 is because of TW and RAM management issues. If that's the case, it seems like a rooted/custom rom'd Note 5 will out perform a 6P especially with the better hardware. However, all of the reviews and comparisons is of stock phones.
I'm a longtime Note 2 user. I love it. But cameras have advanced so much since its release, I'm considering a newer Note for sharper no-flash photos and better low-light pictures. I'm curious whether the Note 3's enough of an upgrade (with a Note 7 ROM) or if I should spend the extra and get a Note 4.
Obviously the Note 7 would have the best camera, but we know that's not an option. Note 5 would be next-best, but I like removable batteries and expandable storage. So, Note 3 or 4.
I can look at comparison videos all day, but it's different with custom ROMs. Can someone say if the Note 4 camera makes a big enough improvement to skip the Note 3?
Also, is the Note 3 the only Note with an IR blaster? Or just the first?
Any other notable differences?
I don't mind screen ppi or nits. Mainly looking for everyday-user differences like camera quality, unique features on the 3/4, or anything else you consider important when deciding which to get if I'm coming from a Note 2. Thanks for any answers!

Note 3 vs note 4
Camera
Rear13 front2 vs rear16 front3.2
Screen quality
1080p. Vs. 1440 2k
Note 3 no heart rate aensor but note 4 does
Battery 3200 vs 3220
Note 3 snapdragon 801 2.2 ghz vs note 4 805 2.7 ghz
In my opinion the biggest difference between note 3 and note 4 is screen quality note4 2k screen is amazing.once you hold note 4 for couple of days then go back to note 3 you will definitely feel the difference.
The note 4 has the IR blaster as well, i am not sure about the note 5
I gave up the note 3 to my wife after buying the note 4... I will have to say that note 3 is a trouble free phone!!
If you get the 4, make sure it''s either new with warranty or recertified with full warranty, because some issues exist with the note 4.
Good luck!
No pen window

One other thing is that the Note 3 has the pen window like the Note 2, but it went away with the note 4. I used it alot. Was one of my favorite features. Might be something to consider if you use that alot.

Thanks!
What issues have you had?
Also, how's the camera compared to Note 3? Is it a lot better in low light, for example, kids playing indoors or similar settings of low-light activity?

That's great to know! Thanks. I wonder if it came back in any custom ROMs. I could live without it, but I used it pretty often, too. Once DN4 ROM came along though (and other Note 4/5/7 ROMs since then; it was just the first of its kind), I quickly got used to resizing and minimizing apps like newer Notes. Works wonders for multitasking!

It's rumored that the motherboard goes out after a couple years but No one will nail that down!
The camera is awesome note 3 won't compare to that and screen resolution but as said my wife's note 3 chugs along while I'm resetting and fixing my note 4
