Just got this? Is this Lolipop update early? Thought is was due out in early 2015
update us once the update is installed?
Getting it too, will report back, hopefully it is the update we've been waiting for
It's not Lollipop unfortunately, just a minor update.
Is this a European build with "4G" symbol, or a US build with "LTE" symbols and the Presidential/Amber alert SMS logic?
Hey devil188 ...How was the update? Thanks
Stamina MODE
Any1 experiencing STAMINA mode not working properly after update? My device didn't update, but my feyonce's did, and hers is like 80% with 1 day with stamina mode, and mine is like 70% and with 2 days with stamina mode...
Wow, this is why I hesitate to do these updates. Please report to Sony so they can log this and perhaps put a fix in on the next update, anyone else notice issues with stamina mode? I will update as well and post results ...
Okay, I did the update. I don't notice Stamina Mode working any differently. I will keep testing and reply if I notice anything else.
Anyone else notice anything please post.

Yesterday I got an update of the HiCare app which I've never really used so I decided to open it up, clicked Update and what did i find? Nougat, EMUI 5. So I decided to do a quick video for beginners over here:

Thank you. Worked like a charm.

Hello,
could kindly let me know the build number after the update? I manually updated to nougat a couple of week ago and i'm on EDI-AL10C233B320, and i was wondering if it's the lastest
Edit: nevermind, just find out that there is already a b332 version.

I just got mine and the update was sitting there when I did my first bootup. So it's hard for me to tell BUT this is the best phone ever and The Google Voice Phone app is working. I heard it didnt work but I've had mine for 3 weeks now and it has worked each time I used it to dial out.
Fingers Crossed and if someone is STILL having problems with the GOOGLE VOICE not showing the GV number on the receiving end, just access it through the browser and dial the number through there and your phone will ring and when you ANSWER, the other end will start ringing and ur GV NUMBER will show up.
Just received this one on my urban. First boot took ~10 minutes
Cannot notice any diff rt now.
Anyone else ?
Just a security update. May 1, 2017 security update.
Seems smoother for me. Also able to access the old LG watch faces such as hiking and outdoors Worth installing

Just took this update today. It's definitely smoother. They did something with this release beyond just security patches, or maybe just clearing the cache. I can't find anything online about what's in it tho. If anyone can find release notes I'd love to read.

Any link to flash update manually?
Does anyone know how to manually clear the cache on the Urbane?
Ahh, so now I'm thinking its time for AW2 for UB2 as from this UB feedback seems the new update is smoother.

I've restarted mine and still don't have it available. I'd like it too.
***update***
I reset my watch and it updated after I paired it up again.
The update has shown up on my urbane with skin1980's EXT4ALL rom, so I flashed stock, but on stock it doesn't show up.

I don't own the UB, I own the UB2, but looking in forums on other watches, seems if you disable phone bluetooth, on Watch enable Wifi and then go into settings about system update and keep clicking 20-50 times seems to kick it a bit earlier. Don't know if this method will work with UB.
Maybe a staged rollout? Mine just appeared after charging.
Just got the update started on mine. Showed up randomly saying an update was available and I just got one a couple days ago too so I'm not too sure what that was about. Either way, I'm hopeful for better performance as some of the lag, especially with google assistant is unbearable.
Edit: So after update, it looks like I'm on build number NXG47C with March 1, 2017 security patch level.
I would think NXG is older than NXH? Mine was also manually sideloaded the AW2 update so I'm not sure if that has something to do with how I get updates now. Guess I'll have someone call me and see what happens.
Edit 2: I do have a call decline option now. Does not let me answer the call, but I can decline...so I guess that's useful. Though I dont remember if I had this option before since I always just answer/decline on my phone. The watch did respond to the call coming in pretty fast though which is nice.
Wow, this update really made things MUCH smoother. It is really usable device now!
Seems like Google-Assistant is working again
Received my update yesterday. Definitely is allot smoother, Google Assistant doesn't take a decade to open anymore. Could have sworn Ok Google would work with "always on" turned off and wake the watch up, but it doesn't seem to anymore, but not 100% sure it did before the update anyway.

Yes : you have to enter into recovery mode. For that reboot the watch, while rebooting swipe from top-left to bottom-right to enter bootloader, in bootloader select recovery mode then select wipe cash partition
Does it feel like battery drain is more after the update?
Not happy with forced update.
My URBANE was working fine with Skin1980's EXT4ALL.
The update installed itself last night while charging the watch, and now it's stuck in a recovery loop (TWRP).
Can anyone help me turn this paper weight back into a watch again?

Flash the recovery bootloop zip in skins rom page that fix mine
Solution:
Go to Settings (if you're stuck in an app, use the button in your notification panel)
Go to 'System' (try tapping above the broken screen area)
Go to 'About this phone'
That should be all that has to be done! Do note: this fix isn't permanent. Let's hope Nokia fixes this.
Old thread:
Hello all!
When i woke up today and unlocked my phone (while an app is open) the bottom part (starting just above the nav-buttons) of my touchscreen just stops working.
I've had this problem a couple times (at most once per day) since updating from Oreo.
The solution to this problem seems to just to reboot the phone.. (This won't fix it permanently, sadly)
I'm asking if anyone else has this same problem, because i don't know the source of this problem.. (Maybe its because of the app not being P compatible?)
Thanks!
Hi, I have the same problem after the last update (september). Android Pie beta. Almost every morning i have to restart ..
Before the update was enough to just torn off/on the screen .
i don't have this problem on TA-1046 with Pie DP2-DP4.1 or Pie stable... maybe some incompatible apps? you use some for changing NavBar/Gesture area?
although i use XDA NavigationGesture what replace NavBar/Gesture with own, still not having problem, maybe you can try too this replacement, have many more function/settings that stock Pie gesture
for u its bottom touch screen is not working , but for me top of my touch screen isnt working .. and iam facing some serious problems after updating to pie . my phone restarts all of a sudden while charging , app crashes and more , hope hmd fixes this kind of issues in upcoming oct security patch update .

But when I connect my Nokia 7 Plus below 50%,My phone shows charging And when I tap the screen it doesn't charge. It occurs couple of time. And then It becomes normal and shows rapid charge after 55%. My charging port is fine when I connect it with my Pc usb port. some how the rapid charge doesn't respond. Does anyone have this problem?

What is real time for charge? Rapidcharging is disabled while you activated LCD
Yeah I'm facing similar issues, or did... I'm not sure... but it's been a non-issue for the past ~36 hours now. Here's to hoping it's not an issue any longer. I speculated it might be adaptive battery related somehow, so I tried rebooting my phone just before going to bed Sunday night, but my navbar still worked Monday morning, and this Tuesday it's still working in fact. I did this to test if it stopped working based on time since last reboot, or because some background process being killed due to adaptive battery/doze putting the phone to sleep. But based on my recent experience I think my hypothesis can be rejected. And I'm still not sure what caused it.

Same for me ta-1046, happened to me twice now. bottom part of screen stops reacting to touch. reboot fixes it.
Hmm... After playing around in the settings while having this problem active, for some reason, going to the phone info section just fixed it... I'm not sure if going there actually did that. needs more testing, I suppose.
+1 I use navigation gestures

Huh, I'll be damned. When my nav bar was frozen this morning I went into the "about phone" section in the menu, and, lo and behold, my nav bar sprang back to life instantly. Now it might still just be a coincident of course, but it's certainly interesting, and could potentially be a fix where you don't have to reboot.

surprised me as well that it worked. He could be a good beta tester. lol
Capture of
I managed to capture a video of the bounds of the touch-registration when the bottom 1,5 centimeter of the screen stops registering.

Same problem for me after upgrading a couple of days ago. Bottom of the screen (navbar and a bit more) is not accessible. Always happens after a night charging.
Going to the "About phone" menu fixes it. Thanks!
I have seen reports of people with other phones saying this is due to the setup wizard being active and preventing using the navigation bar. Tried some suggested adb commands without success. I will still try to disable the setup wizard app and report back.
IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!

This might help getting a quicker fix from Nokia.
Looks like the recent October patch still has this issue.
Would be nice if i can get a logcat this issue, but given this issue gets triggered after hours of inactivity, it would take a looong time to sift through the log.
Maybe there's a way to trigger it without waiting?
I can try logging when i do the "about phone" fix, will come back to this.
same isue here.. after chsrging at night nav bar bottom inch not responsive.. will try the phone info thing in the morning... is this software related ? will there be a patch??
Was shocked to see the notification this morning, jumped in with the update before leaving for work and seems fine so far. Navigation Bar customization lost for now, Nav Star under Good Lock says they're working on an update so hopefully that takes care of things. Haven't had much time to explore yet but initially phone is much snappier, even after considering it restarts automatically once a week.

What version software were you on before?
Good question, don't really see an update Log. Last update was November so I assume it was SJ1. Updates have been running around 45 to 60 days on this phone.
I will say, and unfortunately not sure this option was around on Pie, but looked up Android 10 tips and enabled Adaptive Power Saving under Device Care / Battery / Power Mode and at least for the first day it seems battery draw has improved. Time will tell.

You're using an N960U1 or an N960U but it has Unlocked US firmware on it, which just makes it an N960U1. Did you register for the beta on the Samsung Members app? Or can you tell us what your previous firmware was before you got Android 10?

Yeah it's kind of.....odd.??* I don't even want the beta. I just want to know what the banking schemes are for the firmware itself. It'll give us a hint IF Samsung is leaving towards a bootloader update. Which will help tell us they fixed something nasty from the current bootloader. ?
I think I did register for the Beta so that makes sense, went to the Members Center looking for something else and tapped the icon for it, never got confirmation of anything though. The upgrade notification didn't state it was Beta either. Based on dates per Samsung Phone was probably on SJ1 Pie prior to this. I assumed this was the December 1 patch when it first popped up.
Notification popped up today when opening Settings that this is the Beta, a fact not communicated by Samsung during the update. Went into Settings upon noticing the Phone which was good all weekend today at work without using it started getting hot and draining the battery. Shut it down wiped partition cache a during startup then went into Battery / App Usage and found Camera, which had not been open since last night had used 62.7% of Battery over the past 6:43 hours. Toggled on 'Put App to sleep when not in use' for Camera App and will keep an eye on this along with everything else. All other App Usage seems to be normal. Charging phone now and it has cooled down.
Realize this was the Google Camera acting up that was installed from a link on this forum and mapped to activate by double tapping the Bixby button through BxActions (Samsung Camera activates by double tapping Power Button). Explains why it was acting up after the update. I like the G-Cam night mode and have been comparing the results to the S-Cam night mode including a few shots of Christmas decorations last night.
Updated this Thread Title to reflect what this upgrade actually is. Very happy with this upgrade so far, even though it wasn't labeled as the Beta version in the notification when it first popped up. Only real glitch I've noticed besides the G-Cam battery drain episode which is no fault of Samsung being a sideloaded App, is the settings security page. Phone is setup to require security log on when Settings is opened, currently the security pattern screen flashes then goes to Settings menu without requiring login fingerprint or pattern. Lost Navigation Bar customization I assume will be recovered when NavStar is updated, there is a notification in LockStar that let's you know they're working on an update.
Received another Beta update today.
Another Beta is pending, brings Security Patch up to January 1st, will install tonight.
I have a WW model still on version WW_16.0631.1910.64 (rooted). Currently having a few oddities and wondering if an update might help?
Some of the things I’m noticing:
System Ui randomly stops working.
Phone calls and text messages dont come through, I have to reconnect via toggling airplane mode every 30ish min to ensure they come through.
A recent reboot has me in a extremely slow and unusable state where I had to reboot again.
I see some posts about people updating to 10 and they had battery issues, is this something that everyone seems to experience? If I give updating a shot, how would I update and keep my root/data?
