Hi All,
I have an Indian HTC One Dual SIM 802d M7C_DWG.
I'm looking for any RUU for the handset or any custom rom to flash with this model#.
Kindly help ...
Hi All,
Even i am looking for the same. tried to root my phone and now for some reason it keeps booting into the bootloader. i have cwm installed and i can even use it to install a rom. but even after that it keeps booting into the bootloader.
PLEASE HELP !!
The RUU can save me !
Please help!!
I have a HTC One 802d (m7c_dwg) indian dual sim version..
I have messed it up pretty much.
I am new to XDA forum. Maybe I am not able to search well.
However, when my phone was working perfectly fine and stock it was:
version: 0.5
version-bootloader: 2.27.0000
version-baseband: 1.01.32.0917
version-cpld: None
version-microp: None
version-main: 2.23.720.2
version-misc: PVT SHIP S-ON
product: m7cdwg
platform: HBOOT-8064
modelid: PN0751000
cidnum: HTC__038
partition-layout: Generic
security: on
build-mode: SHIP
hbootpreupdate: 11
gencheckpt: 0
After this I have made a terrible mistake.
I went S-OFF and flashed this RUU. The onl;y RUU.exe i could find.
ruu_m7c_dwg_jb_50_htccn_chs_ct_1.12.1401.1_radio_1 237.17.18.0423release_signed
This has changed my hboot, software no., radio everything and i am not able to get any signal on my phone.
After this i upgraded the firmware to
OTA_M7C_DWG_JB_50_S1_HTCCN_CHS_CT_2.40.1401.1-2.36.1401.1_release_339188zxf4sldwhr7k7cw8
MY condition now is:
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 2.27.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 2.03.30.1025
(bootloader) version-cpld: None

(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8064
(bootloader) modelid: PN0751000

(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: dirty-b78ee36f
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 11
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
Still of no help. I am not getting any signal even now. Whenever i try to get back to stock via installing Nandroid backup i created when it was stock. It flashes well.
But as soon as it boots. It reboots after few seconds and keeps rebooting like that.
I dont know now what to do. I have tried flashing soul ROMs, still the same issue.
It boots up but i dont see anything on the screen, just the battery icon and no signal. it again reboots.
PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW.
If you can post HTC One 802d indian official firmware package, it will be of great great help.!
Also, Please tell me how i can get back to S-ON as i will have to visit service center, i suppose.
Please Help!!
(I am sort of a noob, please don't mind if i sound dumb)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN ADVANCE.

Why do you specifically need OTA Update? As far as I can tell the CWM backup would do just the same...you can strip what you don't need from the Nandroid.

I have bigger plans for this thread. A lot of it, your thread is lacking. Like the stock recovery.img or a bootloader zip to flash back to total stock in case of messing with something someone shouldn't have. Please refrain from posting outside of the topic presented as well.

Not sure what your last sentence means, but thanks for posting up this stuff. I was unable to pull a stock recovery image so that'll definitely be useful. Along with the other stock partitions obviously.
This is the first phone I've had where proc/emmc actually lists every partition.
I posted this in general, so I wanted a reminder to everyone not to post things off topic.
OP updated with more info.
Recovery.img and boot.img posted. Ramdisk's posted. More info on boot.img posted.
Added gpio map
Thanks for this, need to exchange the M8 due to a faulty antenna, so this is very useful after flashing Philz.
This was a very cool thing to post. It helped me sort out some problems.
Hi guys. Okay so first of all i'm using Htc M7 Pn07100 (801n) Android 4.4.3 , htc sense 6.0 ,software no. 6.13.708.1 ,SDK API level 6.25 ,since the time i got i cant install any appand i cant even sign in my google account but i can make new account, i already make one account and it worked and then i could not install any app, some apps work some dont work, like massanger does not work , whats app works, Fb app doest not work, but some times everything works fine but it works after 20 restarts or more i dont know but it does work sounds crazy. I did some research on my M7 when i check in settings >about >tell HTc and error reporting > ( now here i see RED WARNING saying that ) this is a Test Drive ( and bla bla as we all know the text. ) that was 1 problem. I install one app called CID in this i saw many MID of M8 was confused and then when i scroll down i saw another rid M7 i dont really remember but something was there. Even the FM does not work, i think the software is not correct in the bootloder it shows M7_ul pvt ship s-off RH CID-11111111 , Recently i unlock my M7 now everything is format in my phone. i need the right software
I live in UAE. i dont know much as an expart but i know some so i need you guys help.

Your baseband, version-main,meid and mid are telling that your phone is a M7WLS (the Sprint CDMA variant), not a M7_UL like reported in the "product" line... The previous owner probably tried to convert that phone to another gsm version which is not possible (only M7_U and M7_UL firmware/software are cross-compatible, not the M7_WLS). I would first take a look at the partition layout to be 100% sure what variant is your phone (M7_WLS partition layout is different than the M7_UL) and after, flash the appropriate RUU to restore your phone back to stock. It's a common problem to have instabilities and bootloop when using a GSM rom on a CDMA variant...
To list your partitions, connect your phone to your computer and make sure "usb debugging" is enabled from the developer menu. Open a command window from your adb/fastboot folder and type:
Code:
adb shell
make sure your command prompt change from the regular ">" to "$"
then type
Code:
cat /proc/emmc
The output should look like this:
Code:
D:\Programmes\Android SDK Tools\platform-tools[COLOR="Red"][B]>[/B][/COLOR][COLOR="DarkOrange"][B]adb shell[/B][/COLOR]

In the left column you can see the partitions numbers and in the most right column the partions names. Fox example a M7_UL will have a "recovery" partition located at p34, "system" at p35 and "boot" at p33. If your phone is a Sprint M7WLS, your recovery partition will be located at p36, system at p37 and boot at p35.
Waiting for your results so I can be 100% sure which files/ruu you'll need to flash.

OK, definitively a M7wls. You can flash the latest Sprint RUU (backup any important file first, it will wipe your phone). You can find the RUU on HTC website. http://www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html#sprint
6.23.651.10 is the latest version for your phone. The file is an executable, double click it and follow instructions.
Once the ruu is flashed you might need to Sim unlock the phone again (if you're using another carrier than Sprint). If this is the case, this guide should help: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one/general/sim-unlock-lollipop-t3068192
