also, few days ago i have plugged jack from cafe bar speakers and no sound was playing but it makes "crap" sound every 2 seconds. this
i tryied different headphones and jack connectors but it's same.

Hey.
I've got an Apple In ear headset (the one with rubber pads, not the standard headset).. It's got this mic/button on the wire.
When I plug it in to my I9000 it plays the music, but without much bass and the sound is kinda weak. When I press and hold the mic button on the wire the sound is deep again, as it should be.
Obviously I can't hold the button down all the time, so is there any way that I can fix this, software wise?
Thanks in advance!

No one got any suggestions?
Hi,
Whilst driving, I have my HTC One connected via a jack to jack audio cable into the car's AUX input to listen to music.
On the left side, my speaker is making a popping sound as if the car speaker is blown regarless of the volume set on the HTC.
I do not have this issue with my Samsung S3 or when playing a CD or listening to the radio.
I also do not seem to notice this when listing to music on the HTC using headphones. NFC is turned off as i read that this may be an issue.
Any idea's?
(PS. My phone also now has the Cracked Camera Glass issue so may just send it off to HTC if i cannot resolove this issue).
Does the audio cable have metal the extends perpendicular to the plug that might be grounding on the phone? Does pulling the wire out a tiny bit fix the issue?

Got back from warranty my htc one, but it have same issues with audio from 3.5mm jack, left side on headphones or external speakers gives cracking sound. What it should be?Headphones on other one working perfect. Sorry for my poor english. Thanks
Hi I have a Nexus 6 and I got a little bit of water damage in the headphone jack that makes the phone think headphones are plugged in all the time. Is there anyway I could route the audio through the speakers or turn off the headphone jack all together? BTW I'm running the Android N preview. Thanks!
Even though this phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, the audio output via the jack is terrible.
I have tested 3-4 different earphones as well as gaming headphones but still I'm disappointed.
Even on the loudest volume, the audio seems a bit on the low side.
Any solution for this ? or any workaround ?
Have you tried to push the hj all the way in?

Yes. Earphone fits perfectly in the jack. I said that the volume is low because I compared it with my cheap old phones. And the hj audio o/p was way better than nokia 7 plus.
It might be high volume warning. You don't see this popup if your screen is off and volume stays at the same low level. https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-automatically-disable-the-high-volume-warning-without-root/
