mhl HDMI cm11 - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have a z1 running cm11, from what I can tell mhl/HDMI out is broken in cm11, has anyone got it working?
If not from what I have read I will have to revert to a Sony ROM to get this working using the smart wizard. Is it possible to revert to a stock ROM using cwr or do I have to use flashtools from a PC? Have the relevant ftf file, but was expecting to find a stock ROM in an update.zip style to flash from recovery?

Anyone have any input in this please?

Back to stock without computer

Hello,
my friend has a Galaxy Note that still has warranty, but the USB port is broken. He has some custom rom installed and we need to put the stock rom back on, so he can send it in and let them repair it.
Is it possible to get back to stock (complete with recovery etc) without using the USB port?
yes use mobile odin to flash the stock official gb or ics.. and yeah this is a hardware issue not a software so i don't think the sammy cc need to do anything with what rom you have
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
We already contacted them, and they said that we need to flash the stock rom first.
Thanks for the tip.
I have the stock Rom in a single file format. How do I use this with Mobile Odin?
edit: I found it, sorry.

[Q] Camera stopped on NUTT 4.4.2 rom after rooting

is their any way to fix the issue of camera stoppage on Nutt method of rooting and installed 4.4.2 kitkat update.... Nutt told three solutions
You have 3 things to try to fix it, try them one at a time:
Clear dalvik-cache only;
Clear the camera app settings;
Do a factory reset in TWRP or PhilZ (this should keep your internal storage safe);
flash the ROM package again;
boot until you can test the camera;
If it works go back to recovery to restore a backup of data.
and unfortunately i tries everyone but still issue is thier..... can anyone knows how to fix it....
Before posting your replies please remember that i have lost DRM keys in back and got fixed camera issue by Sony 4.3 update....
any developer or NUTT please help me out
Hi, did you read this? Read this please, if the problem is like mine was, i copied what you have to do

Did you make a TA-Partition Backup BEFORE unlocking the bootloader? If yes- Just restore it & you are fine.
If not, thats what you have to do/what i did to make it work.
First of all NOT STRIPPED ftf`s becasue it is only the kernel as far as i know. You have to download the whole original rom which is about 1gb.
+Edit. Do not exclude any options in Flashtool like Ta, kernel or anything else !!!! Just choose your ftf and flash!
First flash original 290. FTF with your branding (for me it was vodafone)
The camera should work there. If yes continue.
Flash original 681. ftf with your branding if possible.
The cam should work there too. If yes continue.
Now you are good to go, put your custom rom on SD Card-
Flash custom kit kat kernel/or stock with recovery
Boot into CWM and flash your Rom. Your Cam should work.
LG

just wondering, why do you want to get back to stock rom?

I bricked my Xperia Z - Please help

I was using PAC ROM on my Xperia Z since after few weeks after buying the phone, but i find PAC rom kinda slow, so I wanted to go back to stock kernel,rom. So I decidede to relock bootloader(I already did it once and went back to PAC). But this time, after relock my phone is dead, all I can do is get it into flashmode and fastboot. I am not able to flash stock firmware. I need help, please guys. I can post logs, screenshot, whatever you need.
if the phone is able to get into flashmode and fastboot it is not bricked at all you should be able to reflash stock rom without any issue I suggest using flashtool and google how to flash to stock rom xperia z
Thank you for your fast reply. I am gonna keep trying from other PCs, with fresh install of flashtool and drivers. Does the version of stock firmware make any difference?
I have managed to unbrick it by flashing stock firmware as you said. I am very happy but I would still like to get my device rooted, But something based on stock kernel not some crazy stuff. Could you tell me how? Dont wanna mess up things again

[Q] What are the correct Manufacturing tools settings for AIR II (HG9M)?

I'm trying to flash the STOCK (http://techtablets.com/wpfb-file/x98_air_ii-hg9m_android_5_v3-00-rar/) Lollipop ROM on my tablet, but using TechKnight's settings (which he mentions that works with the 3G) not doing anything WHEN i try to flash the stock rom. If i try to flash TechKnight's debloated ROM using his settings the flashing process works.
So anyone managed to flash the STOCK rom with intel manufacturing tools successfully? Can you share your settings?!
thanks!
