there are many kernels for aosp based roms like cyanogenmod.
1. X-honami (CM Version)
2.greatdevs kernel
3.pimped kernel (Light Version!!!!) just google it, cause the "full" pimped kernel wont work on roms which are based on 4.4.3 or later, only for 4.4.2 based roms

hi there buddies, i am currently on RR v10 with hydracore kernel which is the new kernel which supports all roms, from tw to aosp. So my question is that previously if we wanna go from a tw rom like rr,criskelo,.etc. to a AOSP or CM rom, we should first go back to GB and flash from there:crying:. BUt since this rom supports AOSP/CM itself, so is it possible to simply flash a AOSP/CM rom directly from a stock/custom TW rom with Hydracore kernel?? thanks in advance :good:

I use this as a base rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2244160
And I want to port this rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=32155757
And are the same manufacturer and the same cpu ARMv6.
i already try to fix framework but same result, and i try all tools in xda-forum that permit to port miui but don"t works
thanks in advance.
someone already ported that rom to MINI , but its major flaw its the lock/answer screen , it lags too much
maybe you can talk with the guy and port a patch for it or smth like that .

Yes i am sure. It's a developer working on xiaomi who made it. Here is the android 5.1 from him http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/general/android-5-1-ivan-t3056153 and here is 4.4.4 http://en.miui.com/thread-44424-1-1.html
Ivan has a privat source. Not official.
These are the ones with official sources.
Try Bitti09's CM12:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t3036066
(Link in thread posts)
Or audahadi's Temasek builds:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-mi-3/development/temasek-unofficial-cm12-t3012588
I should warn you, the official kernels are VERY unstable as of now, and the Devs are working on them as we speak...Expect a LOT of bugs.
(Wifi not working, bootloops, reboots, battery drain, pretty much everything is a WIP at this stage...)

Do you think it could be some old kernel sources? May be MIUI uses some other kernel sources?
Or it is possible that MIUI devs did the same work as our dev do right now - fixing bugs in kernel sources?
I'm just trying to understang how it works
If MIUI have no bugs so either it basd on different kernel sources or MIUI devs already fixed all kernel sources bugs but not within branch released and within MIUI code instead.
PS: Sorry, I'm C# dev, not firmware dev, so have no clue how those things works :silly:
How to port Marsmallow for S3 Mini ? Where is the base 6.0 for s3 mini ? How can i get it ?
No one posted something like that yet. Maybe android-andi or golden-guy give it up soon.
Elseway you can try compiling it all by yourself from Cyanogenmod sources.
How can i get CyanogenMod sources ? (6.0)
cyanogenmod is always developping cm12.1, so i think that they have to finish cm12.1 (fully working) before begincreating cm13
sorry for my english
Cm 12.1 camera dont fixing. I think they cant have to finish cm 12.1. I think they dont create Cm 13.
recently i saw a .zip file to fix the problem, but sorry i forgot where i found it
I saw it too, it just flashes Camu and replaces stock Camera2 with that, so it's not worth trying it

The camera problem in CyanogenMod 12.1 is now fixed, maybe CM13 development will start soon
CM13 is under developing for long time
