bashrc or profile file for terminal emulator
This is a response to a thread that got redirected here BC I have fewer than 10 posts. On some custom roms the shell init file for Terminal Emulator is /etc/mkshrc. You can put an alias here like alias s='sudo bash' for example to start a bash she'll. Bash's init file is then /etc/bash/bashrc.

I have the same problem, maybe my solution helps someone.
Just make sure that after signing apk, folder "META-INF" contains only CERT.RSA CERT.SF MANIFEST.MF, it is necessary key&checksums, the other one makes android think that is not system app.

Missing wait_for_adb function in Linux
For the Linux version there's no definition of "wait_for_adb" function in XTools.sh and the rooting fails (and I guess other tools too).
I also had to install realpath in Linux Mint.

Looks good, but not yet working?
I tried my best but this is what the command line tells me:
C:\Users\USER\Desktop\cwm-touch-flasher>adb\adb.exe shell "su -c 'dd if=/da
ta/local/tmp/recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.4-p970.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4'"
/system/bin/sh: su: not found
So when i boot into 'recovery' it just put my phone into factory reset.
What to do now? Please help!!
