Are the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2362137 all that I really need to do to port sense lollipop to Sprint besides changing the mount points, kernel, ramdisk and fstab? Also should I use gpe lollipop or sense kit Kat for the files that I need to replace?

I bought this 32 GB HTC One T-Mobile phone which is unlocked, and will be here in a few days. It IS an M7, right? It has rooted stock firmware (not sure if Sense or AOSP) but will probably flash a custom ROM. I read up on the Google Edition bootloader/recovery, and read Vomer's guide as well. I'm not sure if I need to do the whole GE process before I flash a GE ROM, or which GE/AOSP ROM I should go with. It seems like most of them are Sense, so which ones are AOSP?
The one original android development forum is the asop Roms .
There are GE versions that will work with your current setup. The only reason to "convert to the GE version is for official ota updates.

The what? Oh, you mean the ORIGINAL One forums has AOSP ROMs? How do you tell the difference between the original One and the 2013 model?
How often are there OTA updates? Those are usually compiled into current custom ROMs, right?
In the case of the HTC One, would Sense be better over AOSP (not just because of the camera)? It would seem there are more Sense-based ROMs than AOKP/AOSP ones. I also see a few Sense/GE ROMs. What exactly does that mean? Is it just Sense with the additional AOSP settings and options? If I wanted the best camera, should I just stick with Sense?

There is a android dev and there is an original dev. Read up on the stickies and you'll get an explanation, after you read ask questions with direction so users won't have to type up 2-3 paragraphs explaining everything out .

Stock Sense 5 is very good. You can try AOSP ROMs and see if you don't miss the Sense features. The camera app has been ported to AOSP if I remember well so you don't loose Zoe/Highlights.
I'm stock and haven't planned on going o AOSP or other custom ROMs because I'm more than happy with Sense 5, except some things here and there, but the same can be said about any other ROM. the one thing I change was the launcher. It's good, but not as flexible as Nova, specially for adding more columns/rows to home screens.
Hi,
I returned my Bell HTC One to stock to get the official firmware, radios and Sense 6 of course. I noticed that there is no option in the development options to enable ART.
Since I am stock and probably odexed, should I not have the option to use ART? It's possible that only the M8 has that option and not the M7 but I would think that is unlikely.
Thanks.
Im desperately in search of a way I can flash a GPE Rom onto the ATT (i537) variant s4active. I HATE the whole touchwiz UI. and I have tried removing it manually, by replacing stock TW apps with google apps and uninstalling TW apps. But I want the whole enchilada. The SystemUI and interface of the Google Play edition s4 active. I know they have roms for the international version. but is there anyone out there that knows how I can get a stock google android rom onto my device.
im running 4.4.2 NC9 rooted and with safestrap.
I know theres like a kernel difference in aosp roms so idk how it all works. I would just love to take off touchwiz completely. any help would be greatly appreciated.
sorry if I offend anyone on here. since it seems like everyones so touchy about things posted here... so if I put this question in the wrong place or something, sorry.

The short answer to your question is that you can't, you're stuck with TouchWiz until the bootloader is unlocked. The reason for this is that the bootloader checks files you try to flash to the phone to make sure they are signed by Samsung. In order to use something other than a TouchWiz rom on the i537, you need to flash a different kernel. And since other kernels aren't signed by Samsung it will fail to flash.
The GPE for 4.2.2 that you are referring to was able to use the existing Samsung stock kernel, so it seemed that you were using an AOSP ROM, but it was still using Samsung's kernel. The newer GPE roms (4.3 and 4.4.2) can no longer utilize the stock Samsung kernel so they are non-functional. Unfortunately since you're on 4.4.2 you have the new bootloader and there is no way to downgrade back to 4.2.2 and use the GPE rom. Your only option at this point is to use the stock rom or find a compatible rom that you can live with until somebody figures out how to unlock the bootloader (hopefully in August).

I am looking for a way to port the multirom on to our sprint varient I have seen it has been ported to international and Verizon but no support for sprint seeing as there is already a basis to start on how can it ported from Verizon to sprint since there are many Roms and firmware being ported from Verizon, please do not ignore this as many developers on here have as I have tried to multiple time getting answers on how , there's a guide somewhat for porting on multiroms op but doesn't make clear of everything to do so. My m7spr is up for testing
You need someone like @tdhite to patch twrp and a kernel dev to implement some patches to the kernel
What do you mean patch , I have been successful at getting the twrp for the m7_ul to flash to m7spr is there a way of editing the one that is there or port that one to m7spr and the kernel only needs Kexec-hardboot patch , which there are many kernels with it if I'm correct
So you flashed the twrp for the ul that is in the bottom of the op of the multirom thread?
Yes and it successfully booted into it the only thing was the multirom files I couldn't get to flash as it is for a different variant
I have tried also to attempt this which I think should work but unsure what to put in the blanks this seems a lot similar and simpler

If thinking correctly multirom show be able to flash and work if it gets edited to flash for m7spr/wls with update script and pratition layout
I have a sprint m7 on stock 442 i think or 443 and I was wanting to update to lolipop. Im not in need of any particular feature other than to toggle stuff easier. also I had it flashed to page plus I was wondering if it would mess up the flash? also anyone know a rom or kernel that has tap2wake for lolipop?
