Hello.
I have N7000 and problem with Brightness control on Kitkat.
I tried OmniROM 4.4, CyanogenMod 11.0 Beta 2 and Team Asylum Omni 4.4. Brightness control not working. Backlight is still on maximum.
Apk Lux Auto Brightness also does not work. Only apk Night Mode dim backlight manual. But always do it manually is difficult.
Light sensor is working correctly.
So why can not muted and Brightness also AutoMod not to work???
Sorry for my english.
It's a known problem with kitkat. Just make a point to be updated on the issues in the ROM thread and you will come to know of the bugs and resolution. It's a new rom so there will be much less help.
Thanks.
Today is new fix AutoBrightness. Now is problem recovery:laugh:
I´m sorry...

Quick panel settings cannot be applied using this ROM as it is still in beta stage.. This option will only be available when we get CM 11 nightly out
As the official update has arrived, I was Wondering how can I enable Ambient Display on this ROM 5.1 like Nexus 6?
It's really a cool feature and it will be a great addition to this ROM.
Thanks in Advance

I've seen a xposed module to enable that, but since xposed doesn't work on 5.1 yet, you'll have to wait. But even with it enabled pick up to display mode will not work. And because Android One devices doesn't have a AMOLED display, there will be a battery drain. So I don't see a up side with this.
hello,i want to know if is possible to enable ambient display only when a notification arrives, not always when picking up phone or out of pocket,i think it drains battery, im on euphoria but there isnt settings for ambient display, anyone has advice? thank you
There are no setting like that. Your best bet is to disable Ambient Display and install a 3rd party like Active Display

Set up Quark Ambient Display correctly. It's been discussed many, many times.
RR ROM is based on CM, and the CM Quark dev coded our Ambient Display to use the IR sensors just like Moto Display. It is a lockscreen notification system, so your display will need to be LOCKED when the display is turned off/asleep for Ambient Display to show you any notifications.
Once you enable the Ambient Display, you also have to configure WHAT the Ambient Display does. Some people don't want it to show notifications when you wave your hand, some do. So, you can enable various actions of your choice.
Here's a link WITH SCREENSHOTS from earlier in this month when we discussed it thoroughly :

QUARK AMBIENT DISPLAY SETTINGS

And even those screenshots are just copied and pasted from when we discussed it again months ago.
Also, you could have asked in the RR ROM thread as everyone there uses the ROM for Droid Turbo/Moto Maxx/Moto Turbo, but not everyone here uses custom CM-based ROMs and may not know the settings.
