Rooted and stuck at splash - Sprint HTC One (M7)

I have a m7 that I finished rooting this morning and after loading the supersu file I am now stuck at the splash screen. I reloaded twrp but I'm still stuck. Do I need to reload the supersu file. I loaded 2.16, but now realize that there is a newer version 2.46. Also, if I reload the new version how do I get it to the sdcard to run the zip?

I was able to get 2.46 to the card and install it over 2.16 and that took care of my problem.
Now I have a rooted M7

[RESOLVED] ViperOne Boot Loop HTC One VZW

RESOLVED: So of course, taking 10+ minutes to type this out magically fixed the issue, huh? :silly:
What I did was I restored my backup, installed TWRP 2.7.0.1 from a download on this forum, and tried it again. Made sure to factory reset both times, etc.
I'm booted into ViperOne 5.8.0 now! Sorry for wasting anybody's time...
So, I've searched around the forums, and I haven't found anything that quite sounds like what's going on with my phone. My issue is that I get put in a boot loop after flashing ViperOne 5.8.0.
First, some info about my phone:
Unlocked (S-OFF)
CID: VZW__001
HBOOT: 1.56.0000
OS: 3.11.605.1
Steps leading to the issue:
Used rumrunner to s-off and root phone back when it came out for VZW in August.
Had CWM recovery for the longest time. Didn't update the phone since then.
The other day, I backed up my phone with CWM and then later decided to switch to TWRP (got the newest version I could find - 2.7.0.0).
I put TWRP on my phone and then tried flashing ViperOne 5.8.0 from it.
It seemed to have put me in a bootloop, so I tried a few factory resets and cache clearing, etc.
Then, I went into ViperOne's installer and installed the older version of TWRP.
At that point, I couldn't even get back into recovery, so I used fastboot to put the latest TWRP back on.
I threw out my old backup and used a RUU to get back to stock 1.10.605.1 (RUU Zip M7 WL JB 50 VZW 1.10.605.10 Decrypted) from here.
At this point, my phone was working again. I installed all of the updates through the phone to get to KitKat 4.4.2.
From here, I installed a bunch of apps I used, reacquired root (my phone still said S-OFF/Unlocked from the first ever time I did it) and performed a TWRP backup.
I decided to give ViperOne a shot again since my phone had been updated and I wasn't sure if the newer hboot or stuff like that would help.
I followed the instructions on some site that said to fastboot flash the boot.img in the zip first and then flash the zip from TWRP.
Everything seemed fine again. I factory reset BEFORE and AFTER flashing ViperOne. However, it's giving me the same issues; I'm stuck in a boot loop.
I got ViperOne from here. The ViperOne Verizon page seemed to just link there (I couldn't find a download specific to Verizon) so I'm assuming that's the right one.
If anyone could offer any suggestions on what to do? The next think I'll try is downgrading my version of TWRP I guess?
If more details are needed, please let me know. Also, sorry if this is in the wrong section?

[Q] Trouble rooting after installing Lollipop

Hey guys. So I've installed the official HTC RUU for Lollipop from here: http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-sprint/news, but after rooting, it won't turn on past the green HTC logo screen. I'm running:
S-OFF
UN-LOCKED
CID superuser
HBOOT 1.6
RADIO-1.01.20.1225
After installing the RUU, I installed "openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-m7wls.img" and SuperSU v2.45. After that, I can't boot my phone after the HTC logo. Any ideas?
Thanks!

The only thing I see is that your TWRP is old. The latest is 2.8.5.0.
Here's what I would do if I were you: Run the RUU and boot the phone all the way. Set it up and make sure it works. Then flash the latest twrp and reboot to make sure it boots (you can skip the reboot part if you want). Then reboot back into twrp and flash the latest SuperSU (I think you have the latest listed). Then reboot and cross your fingers.
EDIT: Someone else had success with Windroid Universal Android Toolkit 2.1 to root his.
I finally had the chance to try this and it worked! I must have had an old version of TWRP installed but Windroid is incredible, worked like a charm. Even though I have a Mac, I ran it through VMWare and it still worked perfectly. Thanks so much!

[Q] TWRP Bootloop

Hi all,
Any help please? After nearly 2 years of having my HTC One M7 and not rooted a phone since either. Decided today would be the day and yep I cocked it up.
All was going well, unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP, installed SuperSu.
Rebooted then problems started, SU was not installed correctly, said binaries needed updating and would need to be done manually. Updated superuser with latest 2.46 update file through TWRP. Phone is now stuck on HTC One boot logo. I did a nand backup before SU update and that just boots back to TWRP.
Any help please?
Regards

Sorted guys. Thanks for all your help. Keep up the good work.

Unable to install any rom via any known method

hello guys ...i am trying to install/update on stock kitkat rom on my htc vivid currently having stock gingerbread...
1. i have tried using PH39IMG.zip (stock at&t rom) by copying it in sdcard...update goes smooth and installation is successful...but later when i reboot the mobile, it gets stuck on white screen which green htc logo
2. then i tried updating it using htc sync and stock at&t RUU...it gives the error 132:signature problem
3. tried installing rom via twrp and cwm recoveries ...installation is smooth without any problem but the result is same that when i reboot the mobile, it gets stuck on white screen which green htc logo
4. i also tried to restore backup via cwm recovery ...again the result is when i reboot the mobile, it gets stuck on white screen which green htc logo...
my boot loader is unlocked when i tried PH39IMG.zip, CWM and TWRP recoveries for stock rom (relocked it when required for RUU).....but S lock is ON.....do i need to have S-OFF for all this ??
I have a similar problem. I have an unlocked bootloader, S-on, an NO OS. The phone has an old version of TWRP on it that won't allow me to flash an image. The OS is gone because I removed it trying to remove a software bug in the factory OS. I'm used to flashing Samsung/ LG phones using ODIN and never had an issue just reflashing a stock ROM.
I'm just looking for a way to get the stock rom back on the phone with or without retaining the stock recovery.

Motorola Moto X pure stuck on bootloop after failed root attempt, HELP!!

Hey everyone I just recently got a Moto X Pure with TWRP recovery already installed and the bootloader unlocked, unrooted. The phone was stuck on Marshmallow so I went to update and it would take me to TWRP recovery every time and when I reboot back into the system, I'm still stuck on Marshmallow. So I downloaded an app that would make me download OTA updates while still having TWRP recovery but it needed root access, which I didn't have. I tried all of the one-click root apps but non worked then I stumbled across an easy root method: ( oops it said I can't post links, but basically I downloaded a supersu zip and flashed it) which I followed very precisely and I'm pretty sure I did nothing wrong. But when I flashed the ZIP using TWRP and booted back into system it was stuck on the Motorola logo which I'm assuming is bootloop. I was going to download a stock recovery using fastboot but I discovered that it would relock the bootloader, which would render the device useless to me so I can't. I also tried wiping the Dalvrik Cache but it always failed. I'm new to all of this so please guys I'm desperate for help. Thanks in advance
