squadzos source is for first beta cm9 which mini ever had
he used the old cm9 4.0.3 source tree and not the 4.0.4 kernel by maclaw...
oh and thats why the kernel init cant find some framework based classpath parts.
i think its framework2.jar which has something to do with dalvikvm cache

I've finished with the flashing. Testing now.
Saw that last night, but was just wondering who is the developer and where is the development page to track the bugs/changelog/etc?
I'm on FXP now and am quite happy with it.

Hey xda!
If you have problems with video recording here is a patch to get it working in cm 11
You have just to flash it in recovery but please before doing anything make a nandroid backup
Unfortunately the resolution is 320x240.
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/09zsgo2zltit4eg/VideoRecordingPatch.zip
Source code of the patch: https://gist.github.com/Mm7/14cf84296dc2f5b78f41
I hope this can help.

EDIT: Now this fix is included in androidarmv6's builds, you no longer have to flash this
Thanks man.but these files you uploaded exist in cm11 roms that i have downloaded before.is there any diference between them?

Btw my device is not 10.1 n8000
Thank you, good day
I've just proposed this patch to androidarmv6 team. Whether it will be merged will be included in the next builds. I will keep you informed
It seems that my patch is useful also for beni (galaxy fit), I'm waiting feedbacks from beni's users. If I get feedbacks (in a resonable time) I will update my patch to work also with beni and then I will merge this in androidarmv6
Sorry for delay

Gingerbread libcamera.so isn't loading in cm11, so psyke83 built it from source, which isn't colorful, no effects at all. As we don't have developers left, we are left with that colorless camera.

Unfortunately, I can't give you logcat since i don't have cm11 built with proprietary libcamera.so(the last build with prebuilt libcam is way long back on december 2013). These are some from other users taken at that time. Camera app opened, but it's all grey.

I still think that you should try to fix source built libcamera; however if you want prebuilt one:
That bug has already been fixed (I think after gio dropped prebuilt libcamera) by this commit: https://github.com/androidarmv6/and...mmit/227e32e355603b87b9b2991517796066c1bd1f16
I think that a fresh build with prebuilt libcamera enabled is enough to get it working!
EDIT: Here's the build link -> http://jenkins.androidarmv6.org/job/cm-gerrit/2359/ Please test it and let me know!

Hi guys,
i am Jeffreyvh and i am compiling cm12 from source now, i hope that there are devs around here who can help me with fixing bugs else it will take around a year to get it stable since i have not that much experience with fixing internal bugs... i hope that someone wants to help me, there will be another thread for the rom itself ofcourse it will be in xda-developers->Samsung Galaxy S->Android Development->[DEV] [ROM] [CM12] Cyanogenmod 12 HomeMade
i am currently doing a full repo sync of the cm12 source after that i will try to make a early build so that we can see whether the rom boots or not.
Thanks for reading this and hopefully i see some new devs around me

Lol, nice to see you use zorin as well
so that error is because you need to run extract-files.sh from the vibrantmtd source tree. If you don't have one, try extracting the files on the root of any vibrant rom (bml_over_mtd, modem.bin, etc.) and placing them in vibrantmtd tree. I will send you the files if you cant get it. I have added some kernel tweaks, cant tell you what i have all done. Its a lot and if i write it down then im typing for hours on my little phone(lumia 630 - windows 10 for phonez).
i will make an thread today and i will also upload it today. I removed all useless things like voice dialer and etc. The battery life is amazing , its even better then it was on my S2 with cm11. I will post screenshots of the battery life too, maybe i should include my own launcher which is very very fast since it has only an list of ur apps and some shortcuts in ur homescreen no widgets and etc. I will make 2 versions
thanks for ur interests

CM13 is Impossible for me, mostly UNOFFICIAL/OFFICIAL would be take overed by MSF Jarvis. Where as we also require 3.10.x kernel sources to compile CM13.

Can't we just use one of the prebuilt kernel binaries from either 5.1 or 6.0 ?

Redmi note 3 (hennessy) developer of cyanogenmod 12.1
I have contacted him for cm-13.0, he has replied my that "I have compiled TWRP but it didn't boot because
1. it lacks the kernel source
2. I can use prebuilt-kernel as i did for cm-12.1 but i need 3.10.x."
and i didn't even compile ROM for any device, because i always failed when i do i will also do for infinix too.
finally cm-13.0 requires kernel source. it thinks compile kernel using cm patches will lead to boot rom instead of using pre-built.
