Hi,
My watch shuts down automatically even when I have 70% battery. It also automatically shuts down when the battery percentage is about 52%. I cannot restart unless I put the watch in the charging dock. HELP!!!
There is another thread about this problem. No answer yet but a few other people saying the same.
I've been having the same issue? Do you have any updates on this?
My watch frequently shutdowns when placed on its charger and then won't charge. It comes good for a while and then the same problem. Sounds like a software issue? The contacts on the watch were a bit tarnished so I used an eraser to try to clean them but that didn't seem to make any difference.

Hi all,
I've been having this problem:
The phone is charged, around 80%.
Suddenly, it reboots. There isn't a specific action that causes it to reboot, neither a message of any kind.
When it's done rebooting, the battery is lower by at least 50%, and usually it's around 5% or less.
Then it reboots again within a minute and continues until no battery is left.
Ways to temporarily solve it, so far:
connect to a charger and charge from 5%. It never rebooted while charging.
-or-
Take out the battery and turn it on only when connected to a charger. This way the battery is back to 80% or how much it was before the 1st reboot.
Ways I've tried to solve the problem permanently and didn't work (some solutions I found and tried)
Factory reset.
Putting a piece of paper between the battery and the back panel, in case the battery is loose.
Had the phone and battery connectors tested- no result
Installed an app that tells me what is the battery health- it's healthy.
Tried to understand if it happens only when phone is hot, cpu high, etc- found no pattern.
My phone has 4.1.2, unrooted.
Did this happen to anyone? any other ideas?
Put the battery on a flat surface and see if it wobbles.
Sounds like it got swollen, so it's time to get a new battery.
Same here, found a solution yet?

I have only had this issue twice since the launch date. Basically i'm charging from a low battery between 10%-20% walk away for awhile and when i come back to my phone it beeps about every second with the screen on and also the charging plug is very hot. It has now happened with a generic plug and also an Original Samsung plug. I only mention i walked away because i don't know if it might be a text or something that happens to make it do this. i'm open to all suggestions or questions.
No technical skills here. I have a "regular" Nook HD Plus with no modifications. Version 2.2.1
Started w/weird charging ... It would say battery full when on the charger, then as soon as taken off charger would say a random % charge like 15%.
Then had some overheating problems - if running on battery it would heat up and turn off then restart - If I ran it with the charger connected, had no problems.
Now, not taking a charge. The indicator light turns amber for a few seconds then goes to green. Says discharging even though plugged in.
Have tried shutting it down but that had no effect.
Found a replacement battery online w/tools to open the unit up and replace but am not sure if it's the battery, the charging cable, or if the unit heating up damaged a board or something. Currently have about 15% charge left, and can access programs and games w/no problem.
So what's your educated guess ... if I replace the battery will that fix it, or should it be retired.
If you think it should be retired, a recommendation for a new tablet would be appreciated.
Mostly use it for reading, games, Facebook - things like that.
Appreciate the help.
What would you lose by opening it up and replacing the battery if you're considering retiring it?
I had a problem where it would restart whenever the speaker was on the highest setting and it made a loud noise. I simply opened it up, checked it out, and somehow that fixed it. Maybe it was a short circuit? I don't know, but I didn't have anything to lose by it. I recently also thought my battery was bad as the HD plus didn't turn on but all I had to do was keep trying a hard reset. You could also put a custom rom on it. That helped with my overheating issues and usually does the same with Android phones that I have had.
Cool to see someone else from Miami here too.
It MAY be the battery, but I would strongly suggest backing apps up, then going into the stock recovery, and doing a full factory reset from there.
Well I'll leave the question (striked) below, but my phone decided to make me look crazy. Been testing on and off for 5 hours today after noticing it yesterday. Minutes after posting this question it is no longer doing it . . .
Hopefully it is nothing major, and it was just something that is supposed to happen under certain circumstances.
Thanks
On the lock screen it says charging slowly whenever it is connected to the charger now. I thought it might be the new battery optimisation as I dont remember it doing that before, so turned it off and still says the the same thing and seems to be fairly slow at charging. While the phone itself is turned off it seems a bit faster but I cant be certain.
Can anyone else confirm if their lock screen says charging slowly while connected to a (stock) charger, with the new battery optimisation turned off?
Or if not does anybody know what the problem might be?
Thanks
I tried to do a quick search, thinking someone else has had this issue and didn't see much of anything. My phone will tell me that I have 15%. I continue on for a minute or two and suddenly it is saying 2% or just shutting down altogether. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I came from a Google G1 and always rooted until this phone because it actually worked how I wanted it to until now.
One other note to make: I have now had the phone on the factory charger for about 15 minutes and it's already at 48%. Is this simply a calibration issue?

The same to me, and more pepple, use to 1%, slow charge to 15%, let the phone to 1%, recharge to 15% many times, batterry will better
Ok. Im facing almost the same issue too. I can even see the battery percentage going down like a timer. Anyone got a solution? is this a caliberation issue or a battery hardware issue??
Hi fellas. Been through this issue as an ex S6Edge plus owner which is the very identical device as Note 5. Basically these batteries are crappy. Here is my ''temporary'' fix for this issue.
1. Use your device until %1or 2 then plug in and un-plug your charger.
2. If it jumps up to higher percentage, use your device until gets down to %1 or 2 again.
3. Then repeat that process until plug in/unplug percentages match.
4. In the end; plug the charger in and wait until it gets fully charged(dont unplug during charging until %100). That fixes percentage mismatching issue until it gets mismatched again depends on your irregular charging habit.
I know some suggest you to use your device between %90-100 and % 10-15 but it makes worse on these two devices. I was using mine between %100 and %2 after that issue occured, better. ?
