S View Dimensions Problem????? - Huawei Ascend P7

Hello, I have the ascend p7 l-10 on b616 full rooted.
I tried changing some lines in build.prop (I followed a guide found here on xda) but nothing happened.
Is there any solution?
I bought the case from ebay. Somewhere I read that something might be wrong with some aftermarket cases. Is this possible??
I've attached a photo showing the problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, comparing to my sview case.... Dimensions and spaces of screen itself looks right for me. I bet on wrongly manufactured case. You can compare measurments. My are 32 mm from top, 60 mm window, 48 mm to bottom - case by nilkin with magnetic flip

Sure, just search: nillkin p7 s view fresh
It's provided in four colours and has magnetic flip tail. I'm not able to send picture note, but there shouldn't be any misinterpretation.

Has anyone tried the Momax iCase Pro?

I'm thinking of buying this case for its reasonable price (11.99$ + screen protector) and looks but first,
has anyone here tried it? any thoughts? I just wanna know how much bulk will it add to the phone and how good it is with preventing dust going inside.
btw here's the eBay link to the case:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Momax-iCase-Pro...Accessories&hash=item1e625a3fde#ht_6048wt_905
I would say it looks like a very interesting case. I really like the White edged case might be ordering this just to see if its any good being it is only 12 dollars. Thanks for pointing this out to us.
EDIT:: I just ordered the white edge + smoke backed case! Give reviews soon as it arrives, but coming from china it could be atleast a week or two.
I already bought that and the full black one from the same seller yesterday. Can't wait..
I hope it fits perfectly. For now I just use the white capdase case (a bit tight for the i9023)..
the capdase one seems pretty cool as I like cases that doesn't add any bulk.. Can you tell me how is it? easy to press buttons? ext..
as for the Momax case, It seems bulky.. I'll wait for some feedback for now
I purchased one from Momax's website last Thursday and got in from Hong Kong (to Australia) in 4 business days.
The case is a good fit for the I9023, feels really nice and the buttons work properly.
Best thing is their is heaps of space for the charger/usb cable and headphone!

I bought the white capdase (to mach my white battery door). Nice case, but a bit tight, especially in the on/off button, I have to loosen a bit to the right, so I can press the button for on/off, if not the button will be a bit presses, and if I push it, it ask for the shutdown menu. But now is ok. ---> Sorry for my english

I just got the momax Ipro case today from the ebay seller for my i9023.
I bought 2 momax case(smokey back and all black).
I love it, it is the best than the other 2 case I already had (capdase & generic plastic case).
For me, I think its slim enough, and easy to slide in your pants, because the back cover is hard plastik and the side is soft plastic/rubber.
O yeah... all is included with anti glare screen protector.
so.. how much buld does it add..?
do you think it add more than the capdase?
by the way which one provide more protection?
momax capdase or SGP ultra silke???
dont know what to get...

There's some kind of rubber on the inside, which holds the phone tight and prevents it from scratching. Until now everything looks still fine. (for the rubber, refer to the pictures on the post from kist32, quoted above.
Why would it? It's supposed to fit like a glove, so it wouldn't be able to achieve any kind of friction.

Well my friend, metal n plastic doesnt go to well especially when u take it out n in all the time. But i didnt realise that the bumper had rubber so its all good
thx 4 links
I chose this one as with the screen protector front and back both antishatter sheets are protected, however the back generally gets abused from general use. This one has a semi flexible acrylic back panel which is clear

Real black back housing cover

hi guys, I cant understand if real black back cover really exists. Some vendors sells parts where they say the item is black, however you cant tell from photos if the color is real black or normal midnight blue.
Do they really exists? Or we have to manage with dbrand skins or similar to have a black n6?
Thanks for the info

There is no original black battery cover, but they do exist, just not official ones. You can buy them from ebay and so on.
By my experience some of these covers are nearly identical to original ones, but depends on your luck sometimes...

Yes but the black one moto x pro doesn't have the nexus logo , only motorola
Moto X Pro battery cover looks grippy with soft touch material applied on top of plastic. It would work better than stock nexus 6 battery cover. I would ditch nexus logo on the back for a better grip.

Very nice indeed, did the battery door come with its own adhesive ?
@Semseddin Yup. It has this super sticky adhesive already applied. The hardest part is getting the old one off. You have to be really careful. There's some heat shield or something that separates the battery and the back cover. Once I started removal, I used a manicure tool I had with a rounded edge to separate the back cover from it. Here's a good video showing the removal and replacement.

@JR442,
I can take it out using my bare fingernails, being a cell techician for quite a while.. I ordered 3 pieces of black battery doors. 1 for myself and 2 for my customers. I watched a nice moto x pro review on youtube by rozedked. Provides detailed look of the black battery door. I think more nexus6 owners will realize the need of this battery door as the stock plastic battery door is so fingerprint magnet and slippery and tends to get scratched easily. None of these would be an issue with the black soft touch moto x pro back cover.

Did you ever get any more of those? I went to order some more and they're sold out. I did find a place that sells the adhesive backing for them so I could reuse the one I have easily. I just did a frame swap because my blue frame had a couple nicks, plus I was tired of looking at it. Went with the frame from the white version this time.

Thank you! The one I got came with adhesive too. But it gets a little messed up if you have to remove it. That's where I was getting at when I said I found replacement double sided adhesive. Then you can peel off the old, heat up the new. Slap it on and reuse the same battery cover as often as you need to. Still... I'd love to be able to purchase some more if your seller has any left. There were two sellers on eBay I've seen and both of them are out of stock now. ?

I've never actually tried it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It's made of the same material as the stock one. Just a soft touch rubber coating. I'd think the only thing that would hinder NFC would be something metal.

MOTO MOD FRIENDLY cases / bumpers

So like title said, post links / names of cases you can find online, for now there is only two options avaiable:
https://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/verizon-two-tone-bumper-case-for-moto-z-play-droid/
https://www.incipio.com/cases/smart...cases/moto-z-play-droid-co-molded-bumper.html
The second one is not mod friendly. I've it and it doesn't fit car dock or back style mods.

I'll vouch for the Verizon bumper case. So far all the mods I have fit with this on. I know its not a full case, but it protects the siding and gives you the ability to hot swap mods all day
I have the famous YouTube review video showing how terrible the Incipio bumper is. It doesn't even work with their own battery pack. Just poor engineering and design.
Is there any more options beside this two? Because verizon is not available to Europe?
found this one, but seems ... meh..

I backed the Edge Shield Bumper, at Indiegogo. But it will take some more time to deliver because Lenovo/Motorola asked for a legal agreement, this month. So I have to wait to see it's quality.
i am aware of edge bumper but its not available...
just an update, found this as well, will order it and test it out

Definitely want to know if it's mod friendly
Verizon one just broke on me. Lasted about 5 months. I want another one because it is the only one that works. Any idea where I can buy? I would love the edge shield when it comes.
Just received a Sparin TPU case for the MZP from Amazon today. The best part is that it fits OVER the style shell and all. Yeah, it's a tight squeeze and the top mic hole is a little bit off and it is a bit of a pain to remove, but it works. Don't know how long his case will hold up without cracking or yellowing, but so far I'm impressed. Buttons are able to be clicked and power cord inserted. Got a 2 pack for less than $10 shipped.
Oh, and no hole for the pins either.
