When connecting my Z1 to sony pc companion it says "latest software is installed"
while on sony website it says that lollipop is available for Z1.
How to get it automatically?
here are few details from the "About" in my phone:
Model Number : C6902
Android version: 4.4.4
Build Number: 14.4.A.0.157
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
The availability of the update is dependent on your customisation version. You can check using this http://scavenger.ch/xperiaupdate/ or just Google 'Xperia firmware checker' to find another link.

Hi everyone,
I have a Xperia Z, my friends model number C6603 build number 10.3.A.0.423 and are already running 4.2.2
I have an unlocked DOCOMO model number SO-02E build number 10.1.D.0.343 only at 4.1.2
I keep checking PC companion but still no updates, can I flash 4.2.2 or should I wait?
Thanks,
SD
Hi all. Recently updated from Xperia Arc to Xperia Z (C6603).
Brand new from the shop, current firmware is 10.1.A.1.434.
I have notification saying update available 10.3.A.0.423, while PC Companion says update available 10.3.1.A.0.244.
I am after root, but few questions.
A) Which is the latest firmware update?
B) Which is the better firmware to be on?
C) Which firmware do i need to be on to root?
Thanks in advance!

Yesterday it worked fine, today it doesn't.
Don't worry, it should be a problem with the service server, not with the rom.
I have it and is works

Any Z3C firmware will work as it is all the same software with just a difference of basebands and model number
If you wish to download a firmware, click the xperiafirm icon in flashtool or check this LINK for a list of firmware
