I accidentally flashed Verizon radio realized that when phone started rebooting every minute.
1) reflashed correct radio nogo
2)RUU did not help
3) manually flashed modem_st1, modem_st2 which solved reboot but now no network and phone does not read SIM card.
flashed modem_st1,modem_st2, radio_config from friends verizon m7, now phone reads sim but still not network
I think if i flash these files from working sprint m7 phone will come back to life.
hence requesting you guys to share this file
modem_st1 (mmcblk0p20)
modem_st2 (mmcblk0p21)
radio_config (mmcblk0p17)
you can use following to pull from the phone
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p20 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p20
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p21
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p17
Thank you for your help

Okay, so a couple hours ago I got this phone and I just had the brilliant idea of converting my XT1097 to XT 1095 without doing any backup, as I got an error when trying to backup the EFS/PDS and I thought I wouldn't need them anyway. Now, of course, my IMEI is blank and the settings have the baseband as 'Unknown'. Am I ****ed?

I'm also having same issue, deleted the efs folder. Now my phone is with no IMEI and no no network If you have got any fix for this, please reply.
Try reflashing your proper firmware, same Android version... (don't downgrade) using fastboot or rsdlite. That will likely fix it.
It will also possibly erase everything from your device, so you know. Rsdlite will. Fastboot method, you can NOT erase "userdata" and your personal files and pics should remain.
Can some kind soul help me by sharing backup of dhobi, hob and fsc on Xt1254 /droid turbo to try the final hope i have for recovering my device?
History : During my earlier/misinformed adventures somehow 'fastboot erase all' happened and my phone is now a tablet!!
Now I know I have made the final mistake ever possible and went through all possible things, including a paid sunshine unlock and all possible custom rooms, had fun and learned a lot but still feel sad that such a beautiful device is now handicapped. Somehow I found the below threads which have given me hope that I can at least get back calling functionality and so requesting help in trying this final hopeful testing
The links also include the method to easily backup the small files but briefly the code, via adb root su, is :
Quote:
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/hob of=/sdcard/hob.img
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/dhob of=/sdcard/dhob.img
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fsc of=/sdcard/fsc.im
No replies friends?
I have the same problem. Can you help me?
I have the same problem. Can you help me?
For now, I'm using a Jio (Volte) SIM inside WiFi Hotspot (miFI) accessed via an App that allows me to call and not just Internet.
Used paid sunshine unlock and rooted device to install IMEI changer free version. Set up with my actual IMEI so it reflects the same in *#06#... Though can't fool carrier with actual SIM inside phone but doesn't convince the carrier's Volte App to allow for calls via Hotspot (miFI)
Finally.... Still awaiting someone generous to share the fsc, hob and dhob files.... Fingers crossed
Lost imei on custom after restoring g4's persist and cant restore efs too?
Dont worry, heres a temporary fix for imei
(I m assuming that you restore persist with fixed cam and now you cant restore efs)
Just restore g4's persist ( one with green cam ) and restore efs with it
It will restore your imei back but sadly you cam will click green photos ..no fix as of now
You flashed G4 persist already ...its not my fault if anything goes wrong
I wont be responsible for any damage for your phone

Look for a willing donor of a clean moto g5s plus persist partition and back it up and share in this thread.
1. Dump the clean persist partition using adb, type the following commands:
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p30 of=/sdcard/persist.img
2. Share that partition in this thread of course
3. Flash the persist images on affected phones:
fastboot flash persist persist.img
Same problem here.
Anyone in Stock to help us with this persist file?

We are trying to fix persist issue will reply once we get fix
Hello,
I'm in quite the panic, as this is my daily driver.
It has been about 6 years since I have been on the XDA scene, and boy do I feel silly. I made the cardinal sin of not making back ups and plunging into a exciting tutorial on here to enable voLTE on my ROG 2. At some point the requested commands were executed as per the thread:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2

Since this point, my phone has been completely without service, and after nearly 12 hours of trying numerous fixes, I ask for help of the kind users of XDA once again.
My phone does have the boot loader unlocked, and is rooted. I have tried nearly every IMEI and EFS restore option on here, and even went as far as trying similar QCN and EFS flashes of other phones with the same chipset to no avail.
I believe at this point I need a kind user to upload their EFS partitions, or QCN backups (of course with their information masked) so I may flash my phone and edit my IMEI in the image. Or if anyone else knows of a better method im all ears.
Thank you all in advanced.
i guess someone earlier had a similar issue and was provided with the QCN file.
