Hello everybody!
I bought recently Ascend P7 to a friend.
It is a magnificent device, I am very satisfied.
I would like to updateit to optimize his performances and resolve my problems of GPS fix.
I tried with many of firmwares but I have never managed to reach there.
Mon Ascend is P7-L10 116SP03.
No OTA update and when I try in local with an SD Card, the update stops after the check of the update.
Could you help me please?

The update file must be in "dload" folder on sd card.
Firmware for France EMUI 2.3 : Ascend P7 Firmware(P7-L10,V100R001C00B121SP01,France,Android 4.4.2,EMUI 2.3,05012KBR,05012HKK) http://consumer.huawei.com/fr/support/downloads/index.htm
or EMUI 3.0 but under Italian region: http://consumer.huawei.com/it/support/downloads/index.htm
This is how you do for mate 7 but I think it's the same:
Normal upgrade
Step 1. A MICRO SD card of 4GB or more should be available. The MICRO SD card made by Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax is recommended.
Step 2. Format the MICRO SD card (This operation is optional).
Step 3. Make sure that there is an UPDATE.APP under the dload. Copy the Main package of dload in PC to dload of SD card.
Step 4. Insert the MICRO SD card into the handset and power on. After entering the home screen, press menu key to choose Settings->Updater->Menu->Local
upgrade->Confirm->Upgrade to start the upgrade.
Notices:
1. Upgrade will erase the user data, please backup your data before upgrade.
2. Ensure that the power is at least 15% left when upgrading.
Force upgrade
Step 1. A MICRO SD card of 4GB or more should be available. The MICRO SD card 2015-2-25 Page 5, Total7 made by Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax is recommended.
Step 2. Format the MICRO SD card (This operation is optional).
Step 3. Make sure that there is an UPDATE.APP under the dload. Copy the Main package of dload in PC to dload of SD card.
Step 4. Make sure your handset is power off. Insert the MICRO SD card into the handset. Pressing the VOLUME UP key and VOLUME DOWN key, then press
the POWER key to power on the phone, and VOLUME UP key and VOLUME DOWN key should be pressed more than 10 seconds, then enter the Software Upgrade Mode.
Please Be careful
Thank you Alex for the answer.
I have already followed these two procedures with this firmware (the first one not the EMUI 3.0).
And I do not exceed the stage of the package check.
Thank you in any case for the help.

Search the form for firmware 133 and do a local update. If it fails than do a force update (all info you have in the forum).

Thank you for the help Ibeqa !!!
Finally, I solved my problem. Indeed, I was downloading the firmware via my PC and I décompressais the archive with winrar or 7zip on my PC (Windows 7) and the operation fail.
So I downloaded the firmware on my P7 and decompressed with the application of the latter. And everything was fine pass to enter the B126, then via OTA updates I could go into B133SP01.
Thanks again.

hi all , i've tried to flash my trinity (s300) by wmdc under vista 64 but don't work ,also with trinity guides instructions ,( error 260)
So i have tried with Active sync under XP proS2 but don't work too ,same error
And then i have tried Sd card method described on wiki ,but when i put the phone into bootloader it doesn't read TRINIMG.nbh
So i need your help , why i can't upgrade ?
is SDHC card causing this problem ?
Before i was enable to upgrade my phone ,my actual rom is Shap's
Help me please
please close this thread ,
Solution found ,thanks
1. Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / MacOS use cabextract.
2. Rename the .NBH file to TRINIMG.nbh and copy it to the root folder of your miniSD card.
3. With miniSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (hold Power button on right side and Camera button at same time and stick with stylus in RESET on bottom).
4. You should see the screen pictured on the left, confirm flashing on screen by pressing the power button.
5. Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 30 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts.
6. When flashing completes soft-reset your device.
If not work
copy all file too SD
Run enterbootload
work 100%
First Unlock your CID
doesn't work

Non SDHC. Formatted to FAT32 as a post in the forums said. I've tried Sandisk and transcend since someone mentioned transcend has issues.
It can read the card from the OS, but it doesn't leave the bootloader.
Hi Experts
I just bought new Xperia, updated it via SE software, but it seems to be so slow, so thinking to upgrade the ROM. From the Forum i found this ROM to be the fastest one from user's opinion EnergyROM_KOVSKY_20090805_Standard.
Now the problem is when i try to upgrade the ROM i am not successful in it. I read the procedure from ROM upgrade but failed several time. The procedure i followed after reading from the forum is as under.
1. Downloaded X1_HardSPL file and run on the PC, while Xperia is connected to the PC.
2. Formatted my SD card and put the KOVSIMG.nbh file on the SD card.
3. Disconnect the phne from PC, inserted the SD card into mobile.
4. Took the battery out of the mobile, insert it back and try to start it by pressing volume down key & start power up button, and my mobile can be starting in the 4 colour mode, and showing loading option.
But after that it just hang and do not move further, i waited for 15 min, but it do not move further or show any progress bar.
I am feeling disappointed with Xperia as windows 6.1 in my xperia seems to be very slow. Let mention i earlier use SE P990i, and it was really working at double the speed of Xperia.
Any help will be really appreciated

seems you are doing it right. Hard SPL, check if the version is right after you do the hardSPL as described here. It is not 0.52 now, there was some update but well, you get the idea.
That's done, continue to use the SD card method. you do not have to format your SD card. The nbh file just need to be correctly named and place at the root of the SD card.
The video tutorial may be more helpful in guiding. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497511
At your step 4, the loading should be instant and ask you if you want to update. That's where you press the power button again and let it update with the custom ROM.
Hi, this is my first post on this forum and i'm hoping to get some help to solve my problem.
I have an unlocked ATT treo 750 that i'm currently using with T-Mobile. I was happily running windows 5 and decided to try this new windows mobile 6.5 so i downloaded the rom from a thread on this forum and i ran the update process while my phone was connected to windows zync porgram, so it worked fine, but as soon as i rebooted my phone to the new windows 6.5 it gave me the
"This concludes de beta test of this software release...." now i try to reconnect my phone to my pc to zync and flash another rom but i won't recognize the connection.
what can i do, i know there is a way to flash a rom using your mini sd card but i'm not sure about this process....tell me if i have it right:
1. format your mini sd card using fat32, using a computer with a card reader (i can't format it using my phone cause of ovious reasons)
2. copy the rom image to the mini sd card on the root folder. the rom image should be in .nbh format. (i have a rom called CHEEIMG.nbh by Navenedrob)
3. re-insert the mini sd cad to the phone.....I DONT KNOW WHAT DO AFTER THIS, and what do you mean by HARD SPL or SPL... is it a file i should copy along with the CHEEIMG.nbh file in the mini sd card????
PLEASE HELP ME.. what buttons do i press on my treo 750 to trigger installation...?????
thanks
Hello there if you look a couple of threads down on main form page there's a post by Navenedrob who gives step by step instructions on how to sucessful complete the whole process
I did it about 2 weeks ago as a newbie and it very easy to follow very good update

Hi,
I'm sorry, I wrote that tutorial for people who couldn't use HARD SPL (A piece of software that lets you flash the phone) to get Windows Mobile 6.5.
Try formatting the memory card to FAT32 using a card reader, then from your computer, download the ROM here and paste it onto your memory card (ROM Link- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=541417 ).
Load the memory card into the phone.
Where you've just loaded the memory card, there is a Reset button. It's tiny, and its located where the memory card slot is.
On the other side of the phone is the Media Button. It's the one below the volume buttons. Hold this button down and press the Reset key with your stylus.
The screen should load into the "Bootloader" mode and try to scan your memory card. If it recognises the CHEEIMG.NBH file, it will ask you to press the Call End key and then go on installing itself (I hope).
After saying all this, please note that I'm not an expert and had to experiment. I didn't however brick my phone with a Beta release so I'm giving you this in the hopes that it will work.
Just make sure you have the CHEEIMG.NBH file. It may have a different filename (anything that comes before .nbh), you just have to rename it.
Secondly make sure your card is formatted to FAT32. Google it if you don't understand or if you don't know how. I use a mac so formatting is easy.
Thirdly, familiarize yourself with starting up in Bootloader mode.
Have a play, I hope this helps.

Hi. I've really big problem. I changed SD card in my MM and now I can not boot it into Recovery Mode. Bootloader and normal Android (newest CM 7) work normally. I tried to copy Openrecovery files from my backup, but it didn't help. I even tried to download again Openrecovery 2nd boot files, it didn't help too. Phone reads this card, I can explore it. What should I do now?
I thought about getting it back to stock, but I have no idea which file from this link sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_sholes/list.php I should download. I bought my Motorola Milestone in 2011, from Polish service provider Play (known as P4). My Bootloader version is 90.78.
Sorry for my English.
If you have placed the update.zip file and OpenRecovery folder on the new SD card and it doesn't work, then try formatting your SD card with the SD Formatter tool in my signature:
That new SD-card giving you trouble? ► Use SD-Formatter (use quick format and enable size adapt)

If you get the recovery screen you should be able to at least re-install the factory android install off a USB stick or something.

Use the Rockchip SD Recovery Tool to create a bootable update SD card.
And make sure you flash a MTCD ROM ( MTCD and MTCB/C are NOT compatible)

There is a known issue with 5.1.1 recoveries that cause the kind of problem you have.
You need to:
1. Get a stock dupdate.img
2. Get the Rockchip create upgrade disk tool
3. Use the Rockchip tool to create a bootable SD card that contains the dupdate.img
4. Copy the dupdate.img to a USB disk
5. Insert both the SD card AND the USB stick to your unit
6. Start the unit. If you're lucky it will flash the stock image
7. If you get an error message (something like " 1. Action not performed. Please remove card") just remove the SD. Unit will boot to recovery.
8. Use the 5th option - Install from USB and clear all
HINT: You will know you have the correct dupdate.img at step 6. If it's OK you will not get all the "cannot mount /cache" error messages.
