I think I have bricked my phone. Here is what I have done:
Upgraded from ICS to JB, ok
Rooted: ok
Unlocked bootloader: Ok, in the secret menu it says unlocked.
Installed CWM thru Rom Manager and downloded Cm10
Rebooted to install...stuck with LG logo,not ok
I can go to Android recovery and I did a system restore formatted everything, still LG logo
I have tried S/W Upgrade and when it checks it says I can upgrad, but when I do that, something goes wrong with connection it says.
And now I do not have any ideas what to do :crying:
Well, I finally got it to work.
I downloaded V20A_00.kdz. The setings I used in KDZ_FW_UPD.exe were CDMA and DIAG and loaded the kdz-file and pressed the button that says Launch software update. Ofcourse i were in S/W update mode.

Recently i was using in my p880 Cyanogenmon rom based on 4.2.2 version and after getting bored of it i decided to come back to stock Lg rom.
After installing stock lg rom through KDZ installer my phone came in a boot loop. I tried to hard reset it through system recovery but when i select the factory reset
the only thing my phone does, is showing me the Dead Android icon with the red triangle. Is there anything else i can do to "wake it up" from the boot loop?
If you have CWM or TWRP installed boot it power + vol. Down.
Download the stock ROM for your region (flashable zip.) Copy to SD card
Then full wipe data/cache/dalvik/system
And flash ROM you downloaded and copied SD.

Use lg mobile support tool to re-flash stock ROM.After that, enter the recovery and do a factory reset.This as always fixed any problems I experienced.The main issue of bootloop after returning to stock ROM is a problem with data partition usually which can be fixed by doing a factory reset, however I don't know why you got that red triangle and I don't use kdz flashers on this phone as mobile support tool does fine job.
stuck in sw upgrade mode
HI im after some help. my p880 is stuck in sw recovery mode. i have tried to use the lg upgrade recovery and it always fails at 10% even with the modem disabled. i have also tried kdz flasher but with the same results. totally lost here. any help greatly appreciated
A couple of time I rooted my LG L90 D410 successfully but this time I'm trying to unlock the bootloader and flashing SuperSU and TWRP.Finally I rooted the device via kingroot app and SuperSu also then I wanted to flash the TWRP recovery IMG and Zip files via flashify, its getting flashed successfully but when I pressed the reboot button, device goes to LG logo then sudden a black screen appears after that black screen only left nothing happens.
I tried to flash the KDZ file also via lg flash tool its works and when I trying to go on bootloader mode its won't works..
Kindly suggest me a proper solution..

I have put myself in horrible situation look like phone is bricked . I can not start my phone in recovery or download mode even.
here are the series of step I had performed:
1)Unlock bootloader and intalled latest twrp-3.0.2-1-h815.img 16.5M 2016-09-15 07:23:54 EDT for ( since 815/811) has same twrp on twrp website.
2) tried to install lineage OS rom for 811 but the recovery gave me problem that device is 815. Please install 815 rom, so I flashed 815 and it flashed fine and device booted and worked fine.
3)Now the problem starts, it crashed after some time and stuck in boot loop.
4)I had tried to boot in recovery and tried to restore back up image, but it crashed in the middle and after that I was not able to start to recovery.
5) Then I used the LG UP and flash kdz file H811V20r_00_0111.kdz for stock rom.
6) It flashed successfully, but device never got boot up and now I am unable to go to download mode.
7) Displaying small download mode symbol but device is stuck on the symbol and not going to Download mode.
I am stuck now, Is there any solution to come out of it. Please help me.

Now my phone starts into download mode, and I flashed the original kdz h81120v_00_0425 using download mode, after flashing first time, it went to opitmizing Apps screen but restated in middle.
After that I tried multiple times sing hard reset, but it always freeze on 2nd screen when I press yes to reset.
I flashed kdz multiple time using LG up, but it stuck on LG logo with unlocked boot loader msg. not going to the bootloop.
Current condition is now I am unable to enter download mode it respond but freeze before entering download.
I can not hard reset as it always freezes on 2nd hard reset screen and not formatting.
No charging.
I am not sure, If this is some hardware issue or emmc fault , Please help me on this..

thats not latest TWRP... latest unified h815- h811 name is twrp-3.1.1-0-g4 official

not sure how to help .. but next time search for uppercut// LGUP// and itll point you to file needed..
is it a h811 or h815.. could be that outside case is switched.?

I know I have done few things wrong in confusion, but realized later on. It is H811 TMO model for sure.
I did select refurbished while using LG UP
My phone is not completely dead.
Pressing power button it stuck on LG logo with unlocked boot loader msg. not going to the bootloop.
I am unable to enter download mode, it responds but freeze before entering download showing 4 blue dots.
I am able to enter recovery but I can not hard reset as it always freezes on 2nd hard reset screen and not formatting.
No charging, Device Manager shows nothing.
Is there a way to recover??

And now, if I try to enter in Download Mode, a message 'Download Mode' appear with 5 blue dots and nothing else.
My computer don't recognize it
I tryed the Unbrick method with SD Card but still the same

exactly same problem here but i managed to get out of 9008 brick by ls991 files now i have no download mode and only a charge before turning on message on the screen really pissed off now
Need help. Have a VS980 installed with TMO30b ROM. Tried to flash LP Extreme for VS980 & it ended in a boot loop. I lost recovery and cannot flash anything. Download mode works and tried different versions of LG TOOL & it gets stuck at 2% and crashes. I tried on LG UP tool and it crashes at 49% and it says ITD download error. I tried to use LG TOOL with TOT & it fails stating incorrect device model and still shows TMO30B as the SWV & SWOV version in the status.
Any help.
