Is anyone actually able to use miracast to screen mirror on a sense based rom? I've tried a few Roms and stock Rom and they all failed to connect to my roku 3. The miracast function works when I'm using a aosp Rom but I usually switch back to sense based Roms due to problems with the front facing camera.
Anyone?

Already published this problem here but I don't believe developer will noticed it there. Because I am noob [<10 posts] I am not allowed to post anything at developer forum.
Now... Mouse is working on SGSII stock ROM, but doesn't work on CM10.1
*There should be number request when pairing (as it was on SGSII), but it automatically recognize and afterwards doesn't connect.
How to fix it?

I'm trying to map the keys of my mouse so I can use the right click as back button.. It does works on TW, I'm on TW stock ics.. Do you know about any app that allows me to customize mouse functions?
Tapatalking on my n7000
you have to use 3rd part app like blueinput, and you can't use the bluetooth keyboeard without this apps in CM.
In CM 11 the bluetooth mouse works flawlessly

Hi.
My question is rather simple.
On ICS I could play games on my 42' TV (MHL connection) using non original Sisaxis gamepad (Sisaxis app).
Now, on the stock 4.1.2, bluetooth protocols are not working corectly with Sisaxis app (earlier version of the app - 0.5.0 - works well, but does not support non original gamepads).
I have read that CM 10.1 supports Sisaxis protocols well. But sadly it doesn't support the MHL!
To sum up, is there a way to have MHL and Sisaxis controller working and not going back to the ICS? Any rom/kernel combinations?
I can not understand why CM 10.1 does not support MHL....
Dear folks,
I have been searching for weeks now, unable to find a sufficient solution or even a general answer:
Is it somehow possible to mirror my phone's screen to a Miracast / Intel' WiDi capable TV? I know that some devices are, in general, capable of using Miracast for exactly that (S3 and S4, to be specific). However, I am not aware of a possibility for the S3mini, even though Google announced that this should be included from Android 4.2.2 on, and therefore would not be hardware-specific.
Im am currently running the 20131118 build of Maclaw's CyanogenMod 10.2.
Does anyone have any specific information on using Miracast / Screen Mirroring in the S3mini, preferably running CyanogenMod?!
Thank you heaps in advance!
Stefanotis
Any progress ?
Seems that no one cares, I have the I8200 ve and mo options for that, even tryed wifi display helper to show the hidden menu but it doesnt find the ptv 3000 in there as my asus hd7 does, we may not have the widi code in the kernel to communicate via wifi direct or something...
If you have cm 11 installed you have the option to cast your screen. I have never tested it but you can Google more about it. Hope this helps
i have tried several methods to get whole screen mirroring working with both miracast receiver and with a chromecast ,all of it fails
so is there any way make miracast or whole screen casting work ?
i tried it with chromecast app but it connects and then disconnects in 2 seconds
Chromecast works for me on rooted stock rom by using the google home app.
It failed on cm12 as well as on the nexus rom. I tried the "share display" function in cm12 as well as the google home app. They both see the chromecast, but when I tryed to connect, it disn't work.
Anyone knows what components are relevant to
make the screenmirror function work?
At least the cast function in the youtube App worked on all roms i tryed.
I tried several roms with no luck, such as aospextended and sultan cm13 roms. It does work on the newest official stable oos though. Could someone kindly suggest to me some costume roms which r compatible with screen cast feature. Much appreciated if you can help me. Thanks in advance.
Chromecast works in all ROMs for me, but I guess your TV isn't chromecast ready or you're not using chromecast?

Yes. My device is LG TV running webos, but I've already tried other phones on it and they all worked. I suppose 3t should not be an exception. It can recognize the TV, but as soon as connects, it disconnect immediately.
^^ Mine does the the same thing on Zenity resurrection remix, also is there a long delay in when you click the home button and recent apps button, I feel like it it takes a while before it registers the key press on hardware buttons
Wish rom developers will take the screen cast issue into consideration in their future builds since this feature is indispensable to lots of users. Till now none of the ROMs that r not based on OOS works properly on screen cast.
