Could Someone Send Their Stock Firmware Build.prop - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have spent months trying to replace my corrupted build.prop file, but I don't seem to be having any luck. I've downloaded and extracted the stock firmware from multiple sources, but I always find myself unable to look inside the system.img, no matter what I convert it to or what program I use. If anyone, ANYONE, out there could send me their stock build.prop file, or one extracted from the stock firmware, I would be so grateful.
I'm on an SM-G730A (ATT Version) running Android 4.4.2.

[REQ] Decryption code for JPA XEN

I want to be able to flash the KIES firmware trough odin. I allready managed to download GT-I9000_I9000XWJPA_I9000XENJP2_I9000XXJPP_I9000XWJPA_XW_XEN.zip.enc This is the firmware I installed trough kies and is currently on my phone. I want to create Odin separate file package in case I **** something up I can always return to my original firmware. Could someone provide the decryption code for http://fus.samsungmobile.com/Phone_...00XENJP2_I9000XXJPP_I9000XWJPA_XW_XEN.zip.enc . Many thanks in advance!
If you have upgraded via Kies you might be able to find the unecrypted rom in a temp directory of your computer.
Orcie keep me posted on your findings?
I already posted a Odin flashable JPA rom.
It is the same as the one from Kies, but it has been converted to a mid package to allow flashing with Odin.
CSC_I9000XENJP2-SINGLE
GT-I9000_I9000XWJPA_I9000XXJPP_CODE-MODEM_OSP-MID
Allready spotted that. Have the code now 55625. Richthoven how do you convert from single file to mid level package? I can tell what files need to go where but it seems that I need something extra?

NJ3 to NJ7

I have a Canadian N4(910W8)and I want to change the baseband so I can try different Roms. How do I go about this? I'm guessing through Odin right? Where can I find a stock NJ7 ROM to do this? Thanks guys!

Firstly, if you change baseband your phone will not work with Canadian or
USA roms.
None of the twrp flashable zip file roms contains the baseband or bootloaders.
You need to keep the Canadian baseband which you already have.
What you will need to do is to save your kernel file so you can use it with the
USA zip file roms.
The kernel is located in the /System/ folder and the filename is "boot.img".
Copy that file to your internal sdcard before you do anything else.
Then after you download a usa zip file rom open it up with winrar/winzip
or other archiver and remove the boot.img in the zip file and replace it with
the boot.img you have saved in your internal sdcard before flashing.
Once you do that you can safely flash the usa zip file rom of your choice.
I never advise anyone to use a different carriers rom, there are many con's
against doing so and not many pro's. But go ahead and give it a try.
Good luck!
Thanks for the helpful info! On my note3, I always flashed tmob roms with no issues, but the note 4 is new so I didn't know exactly what would work or not. Might give this a go later on! Thanks again!
I find sys>kernel>boot_adsp> the file called "boot" which is only 4kb in size. Is that what I'm looking for? Does not have "IMG" behind the "boot"
Hi.... I was wondering the same about the NJ7.... I've flashed 2 TMobile roms so far... Darthstocker & Hyperdrive.... As long as you flash the Starkissed Kernel it boots up fine... Without it you just Bootloop....

[Q] Need ddexe file from NG3, how to restore it?

Been trying to update my brothers S5 running NG3 to the OA1, however it fails cause previous owner of the phone I guess rooted it and must have unrooted and modified the system/bin/ddexe file as it complains during sideloading that file has unexpected contents.
Wondering if someone has this file in stock form and then how do I inject it back into the original location? Can I do this from ADB?
Is it possible to say dirty flash the phone by say just dropping the entire /system like many of us do on the Nexus 7 (2013)?
Or do I really have no choice but to completely wipe it by going back to NCE via Odin, the OTA to NG3, then OA1, then finally Lollipop? He has a lot of data we'd have to completely redo which we were looking to avoid doing.
So looking in the NG3 OTA update, looks like this file ddexe was never touched or patched. So then pulled the NCE stock firmware, extracted it, then the system.img.ext4, them pulled that and converted it to an img file, then extracted the ddexe file which I believe is the one I need to put back in.
Now I just need to see if I can ADB this file into the phone and overwrite the existing one (if its there) even though that the phone is not rooted (which I don't believe it is).

NC2 Modem File, Anyone? Or full stock NC2 file?

I've been searching and searching for either file and I've got nothing but dead links. The one file I did find is bad and failed to write in Odin. It's been a long time since I worked on this phone and it's currently on 4.4.2, NC2 and it's not able to receive calls after unlocking and switching carriers...so my one thought is to flash the modem file. The phone is rooted but Safestrap is not installed. Going from NC2 up to what's currently available seems very daunting and there are many conflicting instructions on how to go from one version to another.
So, does anyone have a good link to either of the mentioned files? I've been looking for Odin files but I'd install Safestrap (if I can find the right one) and flash in recovery if that is the way to do it.
Or is it possible to update 4.4.2 to 5.0? What are the best instructions? I've spent four hours researching and it's just not obvious what I can or should do. I just want the phone to receive calls.
Safestrap is installed but won't work. Installed reinstalled busybox, etc. No love.
Found this, finally. https://mega.co.nz/#F!wg5wRQrQ!vR7a6pze9dgSWjbaRSyhWA. I flashed the modem but there is still the same problem. Did unlocking break the phone? I'm going to go ahead and download the whole stock ROM and try that next.

Galaxy Note5 Flash Modem.bin possible?

Hi, My phone has outdated Android 6.0.1 baseband.
I downloaded the new file "N920W8VLU4BPJ1_N920W8OYA4BPJ1_N920W8VLU4BPJ1_HOME .tar" and extracted out the modem.bin
But I am not sure if it is possible to simply drop this file on the phone and restore that file from TWRP (I think that is wrong)
or how to flash this file by itself inside of ODIN so I do not change everything else on my phone.
It was already running MM before I rooted & flashed TWRP & custom roms.
I'm getting terrible battery life and issues with WiFi shutting on and turning on when the screen comes back on (even though no software/settings are set for that)
I have some prior Samsung experience, but I'm not sure how to, or if its even possible to simply flash this updated modem.bin without doing the whole samsung firmware and then starting root/TWRP/custom rom again from scratch basically.
Thanks in advance!!
I'm reposting this from another thread in hopes to get quicker response.
I will edit both posts if a solution is provided to assist in others finding that info.

do so at your own risk. If you extracted the individual components of the firmware, you can use 7-zip to save as .tar file which is ODIN flashable. I do this to flash boot and sboot files in ODIN to enable ADB for FRP removals. Do so at your own risk however, I do not take responsibility for you messing up your phone if you don't know what you're doing.
Personally I think you'd be better off flashing stock firmware and going from there. Rooting and TWRP take literally seconds to accomplish. Plus this route is safer than what you're doing...
