Hello,
So I've moved to the Xperia Z from the Xperia SP and I have recently tried many roms here. In particular, I have found Exiztenz Ultimate (KK) to have one of the best sound mods that included the volume being played through the ear speaker. I'm not quite sure if there are any mods out there can achieve the same effect on stock Lollipop. Anyone can help clear up my doubts here?
[This is a QA Thread and only the highest voted answer will be taken into account although I will still look at the rest. Once my question has been answered, this thread will be closed. Thanks for helping! ]
nothing
Wrong. The Stereo MOD Works. Thanks for helping though

Hi, have you guys tried or managed to run the Xperia Album properly on any JB based ROM?
The reason I ask is that when installed on the Galaxy Nexus running JB, the Album crashes every time you try to share a picture. It would be great to have a JB compatible version and I presume this is the mostlikely place for one to be produced.
Cheers

Wrong topic, put it in Q/A because this is a question.
Sent from my Xperia Neo V with JS 7.4 with Dutch cream cheese + Ham and peppers !!
Wrong reply, you didn't actually contribute an answer!
Joking of course but I never do quite get why so many replies in forums are against the topic and don't actually help the matter in hand. :silly:
If a JB compatible version of the Xperia Album is found does that post have to come back out of the Q&A because it's an app and no longer a question? It's easy to see where the sections have grey areas and cross-overs. I'm sure the moderators will move this if and as required.
So sorry for the question but does anyone have Xperia Album with successful sharing on JB?

Ok and this is a short answer but powerfull: No idea because Sony have no JB yet and if you ask about another device, why post it here then? This is a topic for the Xperia T and no other

Thanks for the reply. I came here because it appears as though there are JB ROMs for the Xperia T and I thought there might be a chance that someone had also tried to run the Xperia Album on them, given that it is far better than the standard gallery.
The sharing issue seems to only occur on JB so it stands to reason that if there was a version which ran on a JB based ROM for the Xperia, it may work properly on the GNex too.
PS- there's only one l in powerful
hi guys, I really searched a lot on the web but couldn't find the answer to my question..
I was thinking to buy this phone, and as I love cm (10.1), I was looking if this phone is well supported.. it seems so, in fact I see on cm website xperia t has stable cm10 and almost stable cm10.1.. (RC4)
http://www.get.cm/?device=mint&type=RC
what I couldn't find anywhere is what is still not working... just to be sure if I buy the phone I won't have big troubles or miss some important things I often use.. only thing I could find on the web about known problems on xperia t + cm is this from codeworks website:
"The next round of nightly builds will bring support for the Xperia T, V, Z and ZL.
Unofficial builds are around for some time via Freexperia, but now these devices are officially supported.
Everything seems to be working except video recording (little audio issue) and hdmi out.
Both issues should be fixed soon."
so only problems seemed audio in video recording and hdmi, but this info is dated 13/Apr, so I don't know if these problems have been fixed already or not.. can you please help? where could I look to see the current pending problems on xperia t running cm10.1?
thanks a lot in advance guys!

thanks for the reply, I did see those thread.. but they are related to FreeXperia Project, while I am speaking of official cm10.1.. and I thought they were two different things!
Also, the sentence by codeworkx (I'm attaching below again) seemed to confirm that!
"Unofficial builds are around for some time via Freexperia, but now these devices are officially supported."
so now is not so clear to me.. to answer my doubts (pending issues on xperia t running official cm10.1) should I write on the FXP thread or somewhere else?
thanks anyway bye!
All questions threads should be in the Q&A section, but since there already is a CM thread there shouldn't have been a thread at all.
THREAD CLOSED.
Hello
I've installed Freexperia ROM on my TX, everything looks great but the headphone jack is not working and Camera's output is blur (focus not working.) the latter is a known bug but anyone has any fix for the headphone issue?
It has been a long-time known issue in TX. Nobody has found a fix yet.
Maybe you can try again posting it in their CM thread, hope you get a positive response.

that's unfortunate! :/
I'm really looking forward to use this ROM as my main ROM! without camera & headphone, its not possible!
Developers do not have our phone number. Logs sent repeatedly. We'll have to sell the phone.

so no hope in fixes anytime soon then!
I was wondering if its possible to get the library/binary files for headphone jack from AOSP or other projects and overwrite it into this ROM?
due to not being a pro developer, sorry if its a wrong perception & not applicable!
Hey XDA,
This may be a noobish question, but I'm wondering if there is a ROM that tries to copy every single awesome feature of the Xperia Z3 to the Z1. Since the devices are so similar in specifications, this shouldn't be too difficult I would guess. If I'm checking the development threads however, I only find threads with annoying non-descriptive names such as "superawesomeOMGWTFBBQCOOLROMASDFv42". I can't quite search properly, and searching literally for a "z3 rom" doesn't yield anything for me either.
If there is such a ROM, a link would be greatly appreciated. Does it feature everything like the audio and battery improvements, pencil input, 4K and 120fps video and even tap to wake (which seems kernel based)? That would be awesome and underrated as a ROM
Otherwise, is there a reason why there wouldn't be such a ROM? Is it possible to make anyway? Preferrably this would be a Lollipop ROM of course.
Thanks for reading and any useful reply is greatly appreciated. Have a nice day! :fingers-crossed:
*Shameless bump*
Is no one even interested in such ROM?
I'm astonished
Yo~ bro it's possible to get some feature from Z3 but our Z1 is still Z1. The stock lollipop in Z1 is already quite close to the Z3 version except something (bad audio and nerfed camera douchebag sony lol)
Though there are people working on it actually, if u try the rockz1l rom at least it fixed the audio pretty much

it is called DstrikerZ1 Kai ROM
I've had a quick look through the forum and all I can find are complaints and faults.
I thought there would be good stable high performance good battery roms/kernals by now
Any good suggestions on where to start??

Leave it stock. Root the phone, install a custom recovery and xposed framework.
With that combination you can debloat the phone a change it to your needs.

I'm just asking a question do u have to be that rude? I'm finding u pretty stupid for buying a phone that has ended the service life though, as the Z2 and Z3 isnt much more expensive and they have android 6.0
Know what, even xda is abanding Z1 as there wont be MM and they cannot continue development much more.
Good luck
Z1 is good phone, screen is good quality and accurate if you dont mind viewing angles.
Nothing is wrong with this phone. Every thing is good. Just if it had 3gb ram, my only complaint is ram management.
While ram management is poor, I'm trying out the Lollipop memory leak fix using xposed framework and it seems to improve it greatly

Me too.
last time i researched the phone it was just out, and all the posts were bragging about it.
the z2 on-wards seem to loose functions. i.e. it goes from shatter proof screen to scratch resistant

Which one are you referring to? I found only one for 5.0.x in the Xposed repo... or did you use that one?
I think every phone has their fair share of complaints/faults - I mean people who experienced problems are more vocal than those that don't, so you won't see a balance of negative to positive posts
