I'm using HTC mobile having windows OS 8. The problem is I need to open my companies website which is not mobile compatible and have MOUSE OVER menus. This site is working good in android based phone but due to over scroll "bounce" effect in windows operating system, I can't open menus in website.
Can I disable this "bounce" effect so that i can pull down the menu to excess sub menu?
Or is there any other browser which can open mouse over menus of websites?

Just finished porting this one from Graphics for Masses. Quite a few errors in the source, couple of the tech demos don't work very well due to pointlessness or isn't allowed in OpenGL-ES. Also, assuming VGA, incompatible with WinCE/WinMob/VS2008, etc.
instructions & caveats:
d-pad select to select from menu
up-down-left-right on d-pad to do something
touch screen to go back to menu
select Exit from menu to quit program
probably won't work in landscape

So I just picked up this phone for free from one of my friends and I'm having trouble installing themes. Changing the background around seems easy enough and the phone seems to be in good order and shape but I can't get the designer themes(or any theme, really) to work here. I'm running WM 6.5 Professional(CE OS 5.2.21856 (Build 21856.5.0.65)).
I can't really see what I'm doing wrong. I just don't have access to a specific menu. I followed a few basic tutorials on where to go to pick my theme.
I boot up my phone
I press the Start menu button in the top left
I press Settings
Here's where it differentiates from what I've heard of.
Search YouTube for a video titled "Windows Mobile 6.5 Designer Themes" by an account called pocketnowvideo.
If you look at that YouTube video, around 1:15 you can see the guy press Settings in the Start menu and it brings him to a sub-menu while still in the Start menu. For me, it's different here. Granted, he's using an HTC and I'm equipped with an Omnia, but the menu should still be the same if the OS is the same, no?
So anyways, he taps settings and the menu he gets shows some buttons like Bluetooth, Lock, Sounds and Notifications, and Today. That Today is the button I'm looking for but I can't find it.
Instead, my menu isn't a sub-menu; it's an entirely different menu altogether, seperate from the Start menu that's shown in the video. In my Settings menu, I have two tabs: Basic Settings and Advanced Settings. Neither of these two tabs have a button that says "Today", but the Basic Settings tab has a button that says Display and Light. If I tap on it, it has a button that says Theme and it allows me to select my theme in there. There's also another button that says Items on Today but I'll get to that in a bit.
When I select my theme from the themes offered, nothing changes. Literally nothing(well actually, I think once the colour scheme might have changed, but only slightly and that's it). I can change the wallpaper in a different section of the Display and Light menu but the theme doesn't seem to want to budge.
So moving onto Items on Today button, it allows me to enable what items I want to see on the front of today, as well as the choice of enabling or disabling widgets. Except that when I choose the items for today, the items look very boring and not as vivid and vibrant as they do on the designer themes. They're just 10 point Arial font, nothing more.
tl;dr I can't access the proper Settings menu to properly change a theme, how do I do it?
bump, someone needs to know about this

I'm getting a "Insufficient Flash Player Requirements" message when trying to watch ESPN. It gives several versions to download - any idea which one to pick?
None of them. The webtop's flash player can't be updated by the end user. You'll either have to wait for Moto to update it or hack your webtop mode.
Has anyone found a way to disable flash player? It seems that when loading pages, some of the flash advertisements are causing firefox to get hung up and freeze. This might also make youtube and other video sites push a non-flash video format out.
I don't want to un-install it, but enable and disable it on demand.
hello,
I would like to know if there is any way to detect long tap on a web page on browsers like Chrome or Mozilla. I have the plug-in touchtask but it can't detect long tap somewhere in the page.
I have also a SPen and I can select text pressing s button on apps or in Samsung browser where is appearing a different copy paste bar (I am on stock TW lollipop) is there any way to detect that for example by send intent.
thanks a lot
So last night i was messing with desktop mode and connecting to my LG TV to use Kodi on my TV, wireless projection was not working so i downloaded Miracast - wifi display and it worked, but maybe there's better apps for this.
It showed the EMUI desktop mode, and i launched Kodi and it opens a window with the app, similar to normal windows desktop. But i wanted it full screen and for some reason i could not do it.
Tried to click many times in the maximize button on the top right of the window, button it was not working, even clicking the X to close the app was not working.
Disabling desktop mode and using mirror mode i can rotate and show full screen, but that is not the way i want to use it, because that way i cant use my phone for anything else.
Could it be the app i used? The screen share from LG?
EDIT: I can use wireless projection without any other app, thats good i think and i found that the issue must be Kodi itself, bbecause if i open other apps, tried 2 or 3, the maximize and fullscreen buttons highlight when the cursor is on them, that does not happen with kodi, and i can click and maximize the window or use full screen, but the Kodi app is not working for that.
Have to say i haven't tried other apps, will do later.
Solution: Right click KODI app icon on task bar (two finger tap on virtual touchpad) and select to open the app in full screen.
