When I woke up this morning, my ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX) was showing the wrong time. It was about 3 hours and 37 minutes slow. It is set to get the time automatically from the network. It is wifi only, not a phone. It is not rooted, and it says it is fully updated.
I rebooted, and when it came back up the time was correct. However, after a few minutes, it was running behind again. I rebooted again, again it showed the correct time, but after about 6 minutes it was running about 3 minutes behind, and as time progresses it falls further behind. If I set the time to manual, it also falls behind.
It has kernel version 3.10.20-x86_64_byt [email protected] #1 Tue Jun 23 13:05:51 CST 2015
Build number LRX21V.WW_K013-12.10.1.24-20150623 044030456_201502160111 0010000200001

Clearing the cache seems to have fixed the problem.
This happens to mine all the time. It will be fine for a while and then suddenly be way off. It is something in the system making time move slowly because I can tell in games that it is actually showing things happening more slowly and games that rely on time passing will be in line with the tablets perceived time.
Hi, im having the same problem since lollipop update.
If i compare Asus clock with other clock, when Asus did 45 seconds, real clocks did 60 seconds.
This is very annoying, do you know any solution?
What cache should i clear?

So I am setting up my alarm for bed. I usually set it up based off when I fall asleep, unless I am on a specific timetable.
The current time as of doing this is 10:07 PM.
An alarm for 6:09 AM says it will go off in 9 hours and 1 minute. (8 hours later) [Not right]
An alarm for 12:06 AM says it will go off in 1 hour and 58 minutes (about 2 hours later)
An alarm for 1:04 AM says it will go off in 3 hours and 56 minutes. (About 3 hours later) [Not right]
For some reason my alarm appears to want to jump up an hour around 1 AM. So ya, I was just curious if I am all alone in this.
No clue what went wrong. Woke up wqith the time an hour off. Restarted the phone again and everything was right.
Spring forward, fall back? Not sure when the time change happens, but that might be it....okay, just looked it up & that happens November 4th. Weird that yours is doing that and mine isn't, but maybe it will fix itself on the 4th.
Edit: Did you just edit your post or am I unable to read? Anyway, glad it's working okay now.
I updated my Note 5 SM-N920C to Marshmallow. It is UAE version. Since the update i can notice issues regarding fast charging. Previously on lollipop it used to get charged from 20 to 100% in 1 hour 10mins. Now it shows 1 and half hour for the same. Also 75 to 100% in half hour, 90 to 100% in 15 mins etc. I've checked the fast charging settings and its ON. Also the device gets hot while charging as it is mentioned. I'm using stock charger + cable. Non-Rooted/Stock Phone. Just a few disabled apps using Package Disabler Pro (I followed this thread "Guide: De-Bloating and De-Touchwizzing the Note 5" for debloatinng and used the EXTREME.zip). Help me out someone. Am I the only one experiencing this issue.
Model Number : SM-N920C
Android Version : 6.0.1
Baseband Version : N920CXXU2BPB7
Build Number : MMB29K.N920CXXU2BPBA.
Security Patch Level : 1 March 2016

I haven't timed it, but definitely do notice it taking longer to fast charge and it's getting warmer as well. I did a hard reset after taking the update.
Hwy everyone
Quick question has anyone's watch started randomly switching off and reseting? It was going it like crazy every couple of mins and when it boots back up the time is at 12 and the date the first of January 1970 :S its seems to do it when my phone isn't connected to it.
LG watch do not keep time. Every time the watch boot (after off) it start at midnight UTC Juanuary 1, 1970 and it sync with the phone after connection.
I have a newer JY RK3066 1024x600 Model. Running MCU 2.86.
I downloaded this rom: 4_4_4_FUSE_1024X600_24_RK3066_MAL_26_01_2017_MTCB
And having 2 issues:
1. Wifi works for 3-5 minutes, downloading 10mb from play store takes 2-3 minutes, and I am 15 feet from the wifi accesspoint, on my phone the same app takes 10 seconds. When it finally gives out, the wifi signal shows full bars, then suddenly drops to no bars, but still shows it is connected at 72mbps. I can disable wifi and re-enable, but this time it only passes traffic for 1-2 minutes. After a reboot it can go 3-5 minutes again before stopping traffic.
2. Constant crash error: Unfortunately, cLock has stopped, like every 30 seconds, I have tried everything, even disabled it in system startup. Disabled automatic time, set it to regional format. I have to wonder if it is an issue with the weather app.... which I can only disable on the screen saver, not on the desktop widget.
Any ideas?
The wifi I figured out... not enough 12v amperage coming in, now its working on a fresh charge.
The clock error however still alludes me - error is like non-stop, I disabled it from autostart, but it still starts up.

I believe it has to do with the weather option in the settings. Try setting that up and see what happens. Fix my issue long ago.

I've been using my new Mi A2 for about a month or two now. I installed the both Oct security patches when they became available. My phone has not been rooted, has only a few apps on it so basically stock. Works great, long battery life, no complaints.
I was using the phone to reply to a text today when the screen went dark and it appeared to reboot. I saw the android one logo and after about 15-20 seconds I was back. All my apps were fine, the phone works fine etc. Very strange as I have never seen anything like this on my android phone(s).
I can see the the "uptime" on the settings display shows over 340 hours so I'm not sure if the kernel crashed or if was the display manager ... Anyone else had anything like this happen ? I'm guessing this was the display manager and not a kernel panic since it restarted so quickly.
I just do hard reset.. I have this issue before and that time I used for around 4 days and uptime 557 hours.. On battery, my device is up for 82 days.. What I do before I go hard reset, I updated to the latest November update then when it's reboot after finished installing, I reset it.. Since then no more random uptime or unusual battery stats.. Almost 2 weeks now ?
