Has anybody else noticed wrist strain from using the Note?
I hold the phone in my right hand, and try, (TRY) to use it one handed. This make me pull my thumb in all crazy directions to try to reach the screen as well as the buttons.
Recently, I've noticed a lot of pain in my right wrist. I use a thick plastic screen so it makes the phone a little heavier than normal.
Now, I do work all day on a computer, and I have been known to play the occasional video game, so I certainly could be doing damage elsewhere.
But, I just recently got the Note (going on about 1 month) and I noticed the pain is much worse lately.
Has anybody else eperienced wrist Pain/Strain from using the Note?
stiffi and wrist pain, good joke

Just wanting to hear what everybody has experienced for device temperature so far. When I was setting my phone up I noticed it got almost unbearably hot (to the point it was making the palm of my hand sweat and the metal edge on the power button was pretty hot). Now mind you this was while restoring from my previous device and getting it set up, but I still feel like this might have been abnormal and want to see what everybody else has noticed so far.
My phone was getting pretty warm during the set up process. To the point where I had to set it down. But after the three days I have had it, it has never came close to the same temperature since.
Yup.. Mine gets really warm on the right side when I use it heavy..
Mine also got very hot during setup, mostly on the right side next to the camera. But since setup it's stayed relatively cool. Had it for a couple of days.
Mine gets warm when I make a Google Hangouts voice call on LTE. Gets hot within just a minute or two. To the point I cant touch it to my face... Battery drain is quite intense as well. This is the first phone I've had that got so warm while during a hangouts call.
Just Got my s6 edge a few hours ago and IT is extreme hot. During setting up i needed to take breaks because i couldnt hold in any longer. Lets See tomorrow.
Mine got really hot too. I found a fix though. Stop taking dirty to it.
I know we all hope this is normal...but heat is BAD for electronic components! Thus the need for fans inside PC's and Laptops! Many have now come to the conclusion that heat is what's causing the screen to stop rotating due to toasting the accelerometer/gyroscope. I have also read about the phone getting very hot when using GPS. Warm is one thing...but too hot to hold in your hand is a much bigger problem. I would be surprised if Samsung or the carriers come out with a fix for this issue as it would mean slowing the CPU down, or killing fast charging.

Lol. I find that mine gets hot when rubbing it's curves. But each phone is different.
(for the humor challenged the above was a joke)
Does anyone else get headaches from having the VR on their face or from mild usage? I'm trying to watch a movie but I can't stop getting headaches. Maybe it's just me because I still have one and haven't had it on for about an hour. BTW love this thing its AMAZING I almost forgot I was home and not in the movie theatre.
First off all make sure to adjust the screen distance (with the wheel on top) at the best possible position for you. Eye strain can give you headaches. As a second suggestion loosen your side straps so that they don't squeeze your head and try to absorb most of the Gear VR weight with the top strap.
Since I happen to have the only phone that works with it other than a Pixel I couldn't resist... got mine a few days ago.
All I can say is, it's awesome. Compared to Cardboard, the quality and smoothness of motion is noticeably better, but the real win is the remote controller which is just amazing. Completely intuitive and precise. The potential for gaming is huge. Overall the UI is excellent.
I read a review somewhere that noted a bit of lag during head motion with the Moto Z Force. I can't say I really notice that - or if it's there it's pretty minor. I've never used an Oculus Rift though so I don't have any basis to compare to a high-end platform.
The only complaint I have is the design of the headset is a little awkward. I kind of have to have the strap near the top of the back of my head for it to be secured well, it seem like the angle of my face is just a little off. But it's workable and overall comfortable. Also - it definitely doesn't block all light out, so you can get a little glare when using in a bright room. This feels like a trade-off for having it work with glasses -- which it does, perfectly. I sometimes wear a pretty chunky pair of glasses and it fits over them fine.
This also isn't too big a deal. It's not unworkable in bright light, just not perfect. I can also imagine a simple add-on that could act as a shroud to close the gaps where light is admitted. Or just put a bag over your head
Anyway a lot of fun so far. It seems like a very well thought-out product. I had no issues at all with setup, it just worked. The remote even came charged.
The remote was a nice addition. Really makes it fun to use! I agree with the headset attachment... A little awkward to get it properly aligned. Personally, it makes me nauseous after a while, which kind of sucks. :\
I really enjoy daydream with the Moto Z. I had used it before, but with 1080p it was a little less than pleasant. But the Moto Z's resolution makes up for this and it's a lot nicer. I can also get a great amount of gameplay time without killing the battery completely!
I feel like my heart rate readings while walking - which used to be very accurate - are now consistently 20-25 points high. Need to confirm with a chest strap, but my watch is indicating high anaerobic exercise (above 80% max) while I'm barely breathing heavy (more indicative of light-to-moderate exertion). Pretty sure unless I was super power-walking it's not possible for my heart rate to get that high.
Anyone else experiencing this? I cleaned the sensor really good, and same thing. It was very accurate several months ago. Resting/sleeping measurements appear to be good. This might make upgrading an easy choice, though I'm waiting to see what Apple and Fitbit/Google come out with.
Try rigorously cleaning the skin where watch sits.
Try rotating 180°, make it's tight enough.
Apparently you're not alone.
Galaxy Watch Heart Rate issues
So I got the 46mm Galaxy Watch a couple of weeks ago and I like pretty much everything about it except for the heart rate sensor. I was using a FitBit Charge 2 previously and it did a pretty good job of tracking heart rate and giving me the info I needed but I wanted more in a watch so that's...
