Lost Sending/Receiving MMS with Wifi On After Root (T-Mobile) - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm just curious if any other T-Mobile users are able to send/receive MMS after rooting. I just rooted and now am only able to receive/send MMS either when wifi is turned off, or when i reboot my phone. I was able to have both data + wifi on before to send MMS files. Running KitKat 4.4.4 Build 23.0.A.2.93

[Q] MMS not working with Bell JK3

I used the same APN settings before the upgrade but it just won't work. It won't even try to connect to the APN because the data icon won't show up after trying to send an MMS.
No problems on the internet though.

SMS/MMS issues on 25b+

According to official device troubleshooting from VZW, devices that were identified has having issues with SMS/MMS were fixed with the 25b update. However, there is a persistent issue with MMS not being sent. It was clarifies that even with WiFi on, MMS still are going to be sent over the VZW data network. This means that if you have your data network turn off when WiFi is connected, your MMS will have issues being sent. This is currently working as designed and I don't see any information that a future update will change this behavior (this shouldn't surprise anyone who read that VZW doesn't support MMS through Google Voice).

[Q] Switched to T-Mobile, No MMS over Wifi

Hello,
Normally I can find everything I've ever needed by searching here, but I was not able to find a solution to this one.
I just switched to T-Mobile from AT&T, and brought over my SM-G900A.
When I put the SIM in at first, I got voice and SMS, but no data. I looked up APN settings, and created a fast.t-mobile.com APN using the recommended settings, except for APN protocol. Data now works, but still no MMS unless I disconnect from WiFI
MMSC is set to http : //mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc (no spaces)
APN Protocol is set to IPv4 (This is greyed out and cannot be changed to IPv6)
However, MMS only works when connected to data only, not WiFi. I cannot seem to find a way to make this work when connected to WiFi, which I would like to be able to do. Any ideas?
My thought is this might be related to WiFi calling being a native feature on T-Mo devices but not on AT&T. Thoughts?
Thanks guys!

You can achieve WiFi calling and Texting which will send MMS over WiFi by installing the alliance ROM. You first have to be on KitKat 4.4.4. After thay flash the ND3 kernal and install root via towel root, next install safstrap and flash alliance ROM and bam you should have WiFi calling and texting enabled. I am currently on the at&t s5 using T-Mobile.
I may have the links on my laptop if you need them. Just let me know.

[Q] MMS without data

Hi,
while i had this phone for repair i used another phone(chinese brand) which let me send/recieve MMS without the need to turn on data, now that i've repaired this one i flashed viperROM lollipop i'd like for this to do the same but the APN appears to be locked. Is there a way i can delete/unlock the current APNs or enable this feature?

[Q] Not Receiving all SMS/MMS

I'm on stock Android M Preview, bootloader unlocked, unrooted. I have wifi calling enabled (T-Mobile) and Enhanced 4G LTE Mode. I've noticed that I don't get all the MMS. I would get like 1 out of every 3 MMS. I've tried turning off wifi calling and it didn't help.
Is there any way to solve this?
TIA
