if we will get android marshmallow , maybe we will get new UI
Any more comfirmation so far?
LG L90 Marshmallow update unlikely, the mobile is outdated compared to recent same category smartphones which offer double the internal memory, 2 to 5mp front camera n HD display comes from HTC, Samsung, Moto, Lenovo etc
i hope they do release it for our phones :good:
I want to believe.
Now that Marshmellow is out, how likely is it our device will get a custom rom of it? I think it is a pretty good update for our device!
First we need the source which may come next month and hopefully by Christmas. Last time it took until November to get the source.
Then ROM builders get to building but this time around it should not take so long. Best case scenario, we get a ROM by December.

But I think there are some really great performance and battery improvements right? Also a smarter ram management if I am right? Now on tap is cool I think but others will probably say else.
Anyone know if LG will be for sure releasing 6.0 for the G2, I would go back to stock for it at least until a custom rom comes out

Lets see if lg releases the source code then marshmallow update will be confirmed...
And our device's battery backup(coz of doze) will drastically increase if we get marshmallow...
And any news about the next CM ver(6.0)???

Custom Marshmellow 6 is already there and even if its there, its not for all.
So hope for Official update 6 which is unlickely for a 18 months old non flagship smartphone

Unfortunately with Android, yes. If the update system of Android was just like iOS it would have been so much better. But, should the kernel really change that much for 6.0?

Alternatively, some customrom based on cm12.1
Hi,
For me without doubt, Minimal OS. I'm using it with decipher kernel, greenify without exposed, it's fast and have the best battery life I had with this device.
If you want MM, CM13 is good. I tried it for 2 weeks, it's fine but Minimal OS is better in everything.
That's my perfect rom, hope you find your.

Cm 12.1 snapshot is actually good. But Minimal OS is debloated (as much as possible) and has more optimisations.
AOSP 5.1.1 for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (kenzo)
Based on leaked Xiaomi 5.1.1 AOSP ROM (Build 300)
Cleaned, prerooted and fingerprint compatible
Prologue
I've decided to take the time and hack together a quick TWRP-compatible ZIP of the leaked AOSP ROM with a few goodies on top so that we have at least one stable non-MIUI ROM to keep us going until CM13 is ready for daily driving.
Before people ask:
This ROM doesn't have OTA support, and it won't be updated on a regularly basis.
Yes, its capable of daily-driving with no big issues whatsoever.
Yes, you need a unlocked bootloader to flash this (the unofficial bootloader unlock will work however).
It's prerooted, pre-gapped and pre-xposed, so you will have essentially everything you will ever need already there.
Changes (when compared to the originally leaked AOSP ROM)
Overlapping No-SIM Symbol has been removed
Redundant SPN Debug Overlays have been removed
Debug Buttons have been removed from the Recent Apps View
APK Signature Check has been disabled in the Framework
Debug applications have been removed
Fingerprint reader support has been added
SuperSU (Free) has been pre-installed
Gapps are bundled
Xposed is bundled
Default language / region has been changed to en-US
Merged SIM Signal Bars
Translated Fingerprint implementation into several languages
logd is disabled (as to avoid sdcard logspam)
Donations
Should you wish to support this (or other projects of mine), please consider donating a few bucks to me via PayPal.
Alternatively, if you like the general idea of bringing proper Android support to badly supported devices (mostly China-Phones), please consider becoming a patron to my "Bring CyanogenMod to China-Phones" movement over at Patreon by pledging a few dollars every month to move me closer to the goal of doing this for a living instead of only squeezing in a few hours every week next to my regular work.
Every support, no matter how tiny, is appreciated (but of course not required).

Yes, apps opens longer than in miui. Some lag in scrolling presist. Snapdragon Camera not optimised and works even worse than stock.
If you dont want AOSP by all means its better to stick with Global ROM for now. Only pros of this firmware is AOSP interface and good signal strength.

I tried it now, but no noticeable change happen. Also AOSP already have high battery drain, so this is not good solution.
Chrome just stop responding to touch on fast scrolling for a second in this thread.

Zuk z1.
It will be a Update for 6.0.1. Im really sure. Unless they will release a android 7.0 version without the google gapps. Because our soc 8974ac dosent meet the android 7 requirements (Opengles 3.1) the phone will fall through the CTS (compatibility test suite) and google wont allow to release a rom/update with the google apps.
i have been seeing that "soon" message from couple of months now. I personally got that soon message last month and this month and i hope to see the same soon reply on the day Android 8.0 releases.

They might get a waiver from google but very unlikely. Though its easier to get for update than brand new devices release on android.

Hi all,
If you haven't already seen it, xposed is now available for Nougat. :victory:

Hi Guys,
i am looking for stock android rom.
what's the best rom for stock android?
i dont need other features since this phone only for calling, texting and browsing only.
i came from nexus family, i really bother with MIUI.
thank you for your answer
try AOSPA, no much feature but great performance
Paranoid Android is a pretty good one.
Lineage OS if you are looking for good stability/performance balance.
Resurrection remix if you want to customize every bit of your phone.

+1 for AEX
Aex had very bad battery on latest builds.
thanks for the answer guys,
maybe i will try AEX or Lineage.
Slim rom if you want exact stock.... Lineage if you want some features... AOSPA if you want some more... AICP if you want some more... AEX if you want almost everything customized and Resurrection Remix if you want everything customized... I only recommend these roms as they are official and provide constant updates....
Thanks
