USB Debugging won't connect - LG Watch Urbane

After about 2 months with my Urbane I think I'm finally ready to give it the root treatment. I enable USB Debugging in the developer options but never get a pop up on my phone to allow the computer to use debugging. Is there something that I'm missing?

I want to be able to mount the USB storage from my notification menu whenever I connect the phone, not have it connect to MTP. Is there a setting somewhere that I missed?
1. Go to "Settings" > "Wireless and network" > "USB utilities"
2. Press button, then connect cable to PC
Seems this has to be done every time.

Yes, this is how I have been doing it until now, but it is starting to get old. I was just hoping that someone else knew how to change it.

This worked, thanks! I didn't think debugging would affect its connection type like that. I always assumed it was just for adb mostly.

Enabling USB debugging didn't work for me. I had to disable USB debugging to enable USB connection if that makes sense.

Help rooting AT&T note i717

I have issues when using DOOM to root my phone.
First off, to correctly connect the phone to the computer you have to go to "WIRELESS >>> USB >>> CONNECT TO PC. Now, if you have already checked the box to enable USB DEBUGGING another box comes up and says that you have to DISABLE usb debugging in order to use the "connect to PC" function. how the hell do you get around that? even when you connect to PC you get MTP initilization in the notification bar. When you pull down and click on it, it simply shuts the bar....... you cannot select anything.
Any ideas anybody?

[Q] Cannot get ADB to detect TF701T.

I'm using Windows 7 x64 work computer. The only device ADB can recognize is my HTC Desire S phone. However, when I tried to get ADB to detect my Asus Transformer Pad, it fails to do so.
The Asus Transformer Pad TF701T is not rooted. I have no plans to root/unlock the tablet, other than to try and get the Chrome for Android to always "request Desktop site." I'm just trying to do this: http://droidnerds.com/content/how-to-permanently-have-desktop-mode-on-chrome-mobile-for-android/
I have USB Debugging checked and turned on.
I already have Android SDK installed with all components updated to the latest.
I have tried using MTP to see if ADB detects it. Fails.
I have tried using PTP to see if ADB detects it. Fails also.
Plugged the USB cord into MobileDock keyboard, that fails too.
I went ahead and update/reinstall Google USB drivers. That failed.
I uninstall the drivers, reboot, reinstall Google USB drivers. Failed.
Tried to find TF300 series universal USB drivers, nothing works from that thread.
Also tried the Asus PC sync, but notices those are for TF300 Eee PC, therefore I ignored it.
Is there something I amiss?
Yes, there is something amiss.
Replugging the device, with USB debugging off, then USB debugging on, the tablet displays a prompt asking me about USB debugging and its risks. Completing the prompt is what gets the device to be detected by ADB!
Well, so much time wasted on this simple task.

Glad you got it sorted out. There is one more thing that could help under those circumstances: Change the USB connection type to camera and back to MTP while connecting / disconnecting the USB cable in each state. That got me going, because somehow the USB driver wasn't able to kick in accordingly (both Win7 and Win8 64bit).
There should be a troubleshooting manual included with the tablet, as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the tips.

Connecting Nexus 6 to windows 10

When I plug my N6 into my computer, nothing happens. I have usb debugging and MTP checked. This started happening recently. I have previously been able to connect my phone and view files. What could have happened?
Windows Update overwriting something? Impossible to guess. Use the Install Drivers button in Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit to walk through the complete setup of your drivers again, and you should be up and running inside 15 minutes.
Or another thought - have you swiped down when USB is plugged in and selected "for file transfer" rather than "for charging only"?
Sometimes I had to uncheck the USB debugging switch to get it to see my phone
Thanks for the suggestions. Got it working again.
Excellent. What did you do?

Can't turn on MTP mode

Hi, guys! I have a trouble and I broke my mind to try to solve it. My phone N6 can't work in mass storage mode (MTP), only Charging, PTP, or MIDI. If I try to turn on any other modes (MTP, RNDIS, Audio Source), the phone automatically changes to Charging. I tryed to turn on/off USB debugging in Developer options, several times flash another versions of firmware, use another cable (but I think it can't help, because MTP don't turn on even cable doesn't connect to phone. Don't know what I can to do else. Help, please.

Unplug your usb, go disable usb debugging, go into your developer options, find "select usb config" under the "networking" section.
You will want to select MTP, if it doesnt work look for PTP, and if it doesnt work (or isnt there) just select file transfer.
This will now be default selection when you plug in your phone. if your phone is still not being recognized, id highly suggest trying one more cable.
i literally have 5 in my house that are all **** and only charge.

tryed all of this earlier, and nothing helps
why cant you use ptp?
I can, but think that there is something wrong torturing me This phone arrived a few days ago from Ebay, and I would like to know is this a bug from seller, or I broke it while firmware, and whether it is possible to fix.
Did you solved the problem? I have the same problem with my nexus 6
no, after I disassembled the phone for changing camera module, I found a new problem, phone doesn't charge anymore. At this moment I wait a spare logic board. I think that problem with MTP mode is a hardware problem, wich can progress.
