Battery duration? - LG Watch Urbane

Hello,
I own a Urbane since a week.
My battery duration isn't pretty good.
I have disabled WiFi and Fit, I have set brightness at 3 and I have set screen allways on and gestures off.
I charge the battery every night, and I active fly mode in the watch and cinema mode at night.
Normally I disconnect from the charger at 1-1:30 AM, and I start my day at 6:30 AM.
The watch compsumes about a 10% during the night (from 1-1:30 AM to 6:30 AM, while fly mode and cinema mode are active),
and I end my day at 11:00 PM, and the remaining battery is about 5-7%.
I think there are not good battery numbers here, or are the normal compsumition rates?
Thanks in advance!

Today I'm monitorizing the battery compsumtion and is about 5% per hour.
I have disabled WiFi and Fit, I have set brightness at 3 and I have set screen allways on and gestures off.
Is normal?

With your settings im having 2-3%/hr

Another question would be: which watch face are you using? Battery consumption very much depends on the functions and information a watch face provides. Showing battery levels of the watch and/or the phone, regularly updated weather information drain the battery faster.
I have WiFi off, Fit on, always on is off, gestures on and screen brightness 3. Also I'm informed about incomming messages. The battery drain is about 2.15%/hour. I remove the watch from the charger at about 5:30h in the morning and can get easily 2 days out of one charge if I enable flight and theater mode at night.
As watch face I use a nice but simple watchmaker watch face without any additional information except the date.

I'm using Pathfinder watchface (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dd.watchdesigner.pathfinder) but I have tried stock classic and stock moonphase and the
battery drain is about the same.
I need to try to disable "always on" but "always on" feature (on amoled display) is just the reason due to that I have buy the Urbane.

you can change to a watchface with black/dark background. This will help to conserve battery with OLED display.

Last 6 hours I've deactivated "allways on" and activated "gesture to power on", and the battery drain is about 1.5-2.5% per hour.
This seems normal, don't?

set the brightness to 1 thats what i did and it makes a huge difference. the watch is plenty bright on 1 imho the diff between 1 and 3 is not much but the batt saving is worth it

With your settings normally it should take 3-4%/hr
I suggest you to take a look on your all setting once more.

I'm absolutely happy with my current settings and with the battery drain.
My current settings are:
Code:
WiFi: OFF
Allways ON: OFF
Gesture to wakeup: ON
Fit: OFF
Brighness: 2
Screen timeout: 5 seconds
Vibration intensity: 90
and the last charge has lasted 3 days*:

thanks my friend, for your info, iam new at this wear......world

no restrictions
Screen always on, gestures, fit and on the end of the day (9~23) still 50% baterry. It just wont walk to another day cause it looses 10% battery during the night and 40% wont be enought.

Please tell me how you regulated the screen timeout and vibration intensity.
And, how did you get these stats?

airplane mode - battery drain

I am experiencing strange issue with airplane mode. My nexus one is loosing about 2% / hour when in airplane mode. In standby mode energy drain is similar. Have any of experienced same issue ? Nexus one is unlocked using method "Root FRF91/FRF85B/FRF83/FRF72 (T-Mo/AT&T) Without Unlocking (100% Working) ". I've tried different Roms, kernels etc, no luck. I'll appreciate help from your side. Thanks.
Download spareparts and check whats using the most battery..
I get around 1% to 3% in 7 to 8 hours.
Also be sure that you "close" games/apps with the back button, not with the home button..

I have the same problem.
I turn on the airplane mode all days at the same time (00h) with the battery at 100% and when i wake up (07:15h) my battery is about 90%
Is your nexus one unlocked the same was as mine ? "Root FRF91/FRF85B/FRF83/FRF72 (T-Mo/AT&T) Without Unlocking (100% Working) " ?

Unless I'm missing something, I doubt this is an issue with the battery itself.
I've tried everything, on a stock 2.1 rom phone do the same... On hero night battery drain on airplane mode was 1% for 8 hours...

So you've excluded the possibility an app is doing this?
I find it odd you have a question about battery usage and haven't mentioned what the actual battery usage page (Settings > About phone > Battery usage).
Charge your phone completely then unplug on airplane mode and leave it sit overnight. See how much your battery goes down and what the Battery usage page shows is using your battery.
It'd be silly to talk about this any further without knowing this basic information.
Here is Battery usage after 11 hours in airplane mode /battery lost 18%/:
(Settings > About phone > Battery usage).
Phone idle 61%
Display 33%
Android System 4%
Spare parts:
Cpu usage:
Android system
android.process.acore
settings
suspend
akmd
mediaserver
clock
partial wake usage:
Android System
Clock
UID 10053
Dialer
Do you have any ideas ?
Is anyone able to help me?
I tried to look up some exact information on what items are considered Phone Idle. Like most things Android, it's next to impossible to find any official documentation on the matter, just a lot of forum postings of users guessing.
First, let's make sure we understand what we're seeing. After 11 hours you lost 18%. That is about 1.6% per hour on average. Now if we use that to calculate an average per hour % loss per app it would be:
Phone idle: 61% of the 1.6%/hour = 1.0%/hour
Display: 33% of the 1.6%/hour = 0.5%/hour (although it doesn't make much sense to think of display usage over all time)
Android System: 4% of the 1.6%/hour = 0.1%/hour
I'm wondering if you have an app installed that has very aggressive update settings? At this point all I can do is guess since I don't really know what Android considers part of the "Phone Idle" group, but if Android had to constantly start up a service maybe that would build. I would think the service getting started would appear in your battery usage though.
Additionally, do you still have GPS turned on, and do you use anything like Latitude that constantly tries to ping a server about your location?
I decided after writing my last reply I would charge my phone up fully and then let it drain with my normal usage to see how it compares to your airplane mode usage.
Used with light usage and listening to music for 3 hours and 55 minutes. Battery drained 21% (seems higher than usual, not sure why). That works out to be 5.4% per hour. The battery usage showed the following:
Wifi: 27% = 5.7% of battery, 1.5% per hour
Cell Standby: 21% = 4.4% of battery, 1.1% per hour
Phone Idle: 19% = 4.0% of battery, 1.0% per hour
Display: 15% = 3.2% of battery, 0.8% per hour
Android System: 6% = 1.3% of battery, 0.3% per hour
Media Server: 4% = 0.8% of battery, 0.2% per hour
Android OS: 2% = 0.4% of battery, 0.1% per hour
Last.fm: 2% = 0.4% of battery, 0.1% per hour
Music: 2% = 0.4% of battery, 0.1% per hour
So the most interesting thing here is that my Phone Idle actually worked out to be the same per hour battery loss that yours did. I have everything turned on except for bluetooth and have Latitude reporting my location in the background. I also run other background services such as the last.fm music scrobbling, news&weather updates, foursquare notifications, twitter notifications, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

Latest firmware NA6 battery life?

After upgrade to this new firmware, motion sensor seems more sensitive than before and the battery drops more than previous one, I am only using it as a watch this couple of days to test it out the battery, with bluetooth turned off and motion active, it has been on for 34 hrs straight with 52% remaining, it is normal ? What is your average battery life?
I have bluetooth on (or there is no point), news clock face, brightness a 4.
I charge the watch every second day, not sure of the remaining battery life.

LG G Watch R standby hour

Dear all the LGGWR owner...
what is your standby battery drain record? with screen always on and screen off during standby..
i have just use this watch for few days..yesterday night (12am-7am)..i think i experience some high battery consumption during standby. i have switch the watch to airplane mode before i go to sleep and the battery is fully charge to 100%. at 7am, i check my watch, the battery is showing 91%~..
without any connection, screen is off during standby. 9% of drainage from 12am-7am seem to be no good. my LG G3 full charge 100% and when i ceck in the morning, it's still 100%.
You cannot compare the standby of a phone with the snadby of a watch, both in airplane mode. The idle mode of the cpu's will consume about the same amount of power, no matter if it's a phone cpu or a watch cpu ... but that power is provided by a 420mA battery for the watch and by some hefty amps on the phone. You just can't compare.
I'm charging my watch every night, when I go to bed (around 23:30) ... and in that moment I have between 35 and 55% battery left. I usually unplug the watch at 7AM.
I'm doing the same with my phone, no matter what battery I have left.

I agree, it's not that much of a loss in the grand scheme of things. I have the OnePlus and generally I have that charging overnight, the LG Watch R right now as it's new is getting a lot of play time, so it's being charged daily too, given that I finish the day on around 30-35% I think that once the novelty has worn off I could be getting 2 day usage from a single charge.

I need help to minimise battery drain when not in use

Hi everyone,
The battery drain on my phone is atrocious, and I'm thinking it's a software related issue rather than hardware (phones aren't really my area, so this thinking isn't based on much). Now I don't use my phone much, and when in standby pretty much all of the toggles are turned off (no wifi, data, bluetooth, NFC). Yet even so, if I charge my phone and then unplug it before going to sleep, in the morning I'll only have 20-50% charge left. This is the most common outcome, though once or twice this drain hasn't happened and I've had 2 or 3 solid days of use.
As mentioned phones aren't really my area, but I've installed several apps (Doze, Gsam, Wakelock detector) and tried to lock everything down when not in use, without results.
I'm using Cyanogenmod 13.0-20160908, and Nova Launcher. I've got screenshots from Gsam, but not sure how to add them here (or where to upload them to link to them). Some of the details include (after being charged then not used till I took the screenshots):
Used 77% in 21h 9m (3.6%/h - 13h 54m Active)
Phone 0%
Screen 00:13:49 2%
Phone Radio 21:09:31 7%
Wifi Active 21:09:31 2%
Held Awake 13:40:30 12%
App Usage 76%
Then from App Usage breakdown:
Kernel (Android OS) 25.7% --> CPU Usage (Background Only) 2h 36m, Keep Awake 13h 35m
CyanogenMod System 20.6% --> CPU Usage (Background Only) 2h 5m, Keep Awake 26s, No of Wake Locks 233, No of times waking device 40
Phone Services 17.7% --> CPU Usage (Background Only) 1h 47m, Keep Awake 3m, No of Wake Locks 11107 --> Wakelock Detail: RILJ 3.6m (9884), ServiceStateTracker 15.5s (1223).
Let me know what details would be useful, and thanks in advance for any help. If flashing another rom or back to miui would be likely to fix things I'll do it. I have a few other minor niggles, but if this can be fixed I'd appreciate it.

Daytime Android System battery drain, nighttime OK

I have the following issue - even when I am using the phone moderately (around 1 hour SOT) throughout the day, my battery drops from 100% to 30% in less than 12 hours. The only thing for sure is that no user apps are draining the battery but the drain comes from Android System. Android stats show that for this period 1h20m SOT has eaten 10% battery while at the same time Android System has eaten 31%!
Installed BetterBatteryStats to discover the following figures for 10 hours use throughout the day: 6h Deep Sleep, more than 1h Screen On and more than 2 hours Awake (Screen Off). So the question is what the heck has been happening during those 2 Awake hours when the phone has been in my pocket? I am attaching some stats for your reference.
PS At night time, when I leave the phone 100% charged with AOD on, the next morning it has 90% charge (I think that normally AOD eats around 1% per hour).
