Hi everyone! My HTC one m7 has some signal problems. Sometimes the signal goes off and I have to restart the phone to have signal again. Also sometimes I am not able to make any calls even though it shows that I have full signal. Is this a hardware problem? If it is, do I have to replace the antenna? If yes how and which part do I have to order? I heard something about installing a different radio, will this help? Thanks for everyone who replies!

Is the phone stock?
If no returning to stock using a RUU is the 1st troubleshooting step you want to try
if yes, did you tried a factory reset first?
If the phone wasn't stock then reverted back to stock and still having this issue ist probably hardware related.
If the phone is stock and you have tried a factory reset then its probably an hardware issue.
Wouldn't hurt trying updating the radio or updating it if you are not using the last one for your version.
Yes the phone is stock. How to see on which radio am I on? Is it a chanche that I won't have install the right RUU for my location, and that's what's causing the problems?(The phone came with supercid)

Hello,
Suddenly some days ago when i pressed wifi, it goes in and off every second without connecting to any network.
I can use the phone without any problems. Just the wifi is the issue.
I had a similar problem last month, but then i couldnt even go into reccovery and i had to root my phone from step 1, and installing also the original band that came with the phone.
I did a full wipe and installed a new rom, but again the same problem.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Ok found the solution. I was using a Gapps zip file that was probably corrupted and messed up the settings.

Hey all! Something very strange has happened, and i'm struggling to find an explanation. Running CM9 latest nightly. Got carried flashing modems, and after rebooting the phone i found i had no signal, so just kept flashing away and no matter what i tried, still no signal. Restored stock then got back to CM9, but still no signal. Restored a nandroid backup to Team ICSSGS and signal finally came back, albeit quite alot slower than before!
When i used to rest my phone on my desk, it would sit idle in 3G until it needed H. Now whenever i rest my phone on my desk it permanently says H, until i leave my house and it returns to idle 3G.. Is there any possible explanation for this? Also any possible explanation why my speeds are slower than before, even though i've factory reset from stock?
Maybe you fcked up your modem ^_^
Try KF1 or KB3

But then why did it not revert to normal when I completely wiped and reflashed back to stock gingerbread just like I have so many times before it?
I've previously tried KF1 but got shocking results. Tried it again, and strangely enough I got the 3G signal back (but was very poor). Went back to JW4, and the issue started up again!
Any ideas??
I just downgraded from 4.4 to 4.2 temporarily with .tot files and when I flashed back 4.4 the SIM card can't be found at all even after a factory reset. Anyone know how to fix this?
Try to downgrade to 4.2.2 and after you must do factory reset with the hardware buttons. After that your phone should be work fine.

Issue resolved itself with just a flash back to 4.2. After the flash it found my SIM. Weird thing is I did this twice earlier today and it didn't get fixed then. So I just flashed back 4.4 after it worked again now and it still found the SIM. Weird stuff. The G-Flex has made me nervous twice now though I'm a pretty long time flasher. Things are a tad different with the Flex it seems.
After i've upgraded to OTA 5.0.2, the 1st SIM card is repeatedly loosing signal.
This didn't happen with 4.4.4, that came pre-installed.
I've read that moto g has had some problems with signal loss, but i think it's related to the 1st generation moto g.
Any idea of what i can do to identify/fix the problem?
I'm considering downgrading to 4.4.4.
Many Thanks.
Edit: After the upgrade to 5.0.2, i did a factory reset.
i to facing this issue.

i have noticed this issue with my phone too, after upgrading it lollipop, suddenly signal drops on both the sims.
Actually one particular SIM card losing signal was very frequent while my phone was on 4.4.4 . Sometimes it couldn't be fixed even by rebooting the phone, and the only way was to remove the card and re-insert it. After updating to 5.0.2 I've seen in happening a couple of times, but it's not that frequent. And it's affecting the same SIM card.

So, from what i see, i better do a reboot every night and hope for the best? :fingers-crossed:
A friend has a a nexus 6 that the cellular radio is off, and won't turn on at all. I've tried flashing different factory images and it doesn't solve the problem. No matter how many times you hit the turn radio on button, it does nothing. On 7.0 you could toggle the switch to on, but it wouldn't do anything.
That's not good if you flashed the images. Did you try flashing the radio IMG separately?
yes I tried flashing the radio, and it doesn't change anything. I have tried using the twrp flashable radios as well.
Did it have that issue when it was purchased or was it working previously?

He is going to return the phone to the person he got the phone from, it had the issue from day one a couple weeks ago.

yes i flashed it multiple times, using different factory images and the radios individually as well. I have never had this problem with my nexus 6, nor have i found something like it. The EFS seems fine, the imei is there, wifi works great, ect
