Someone knows if Nexus from Motorola.com is XT1003 or International XT1100

I want to get the 256GB Note 8 international from a seller on eBay but do not want to root it due to gambling apps in Las Vegas. Can I get google play and Samsung pay to work without Rooting??
You might be able to get an N950F and use Odin to flash the Australian firmware, I think I have seen some threads here mention that can work with USA credit cards in Samsung Pay but I'm not 100% sure since I don't have an F and can't verify it.
If that doesn't actually work I do not think there's a way to do what you're wanting to do.
I bought n9500 256gb on eBay from Chinese seller. Google play store is on. I paying using Android Pay. Samsung pay not working with my UK debit card.
I have a 256gb sm9500 hong kong version.
Samsung pay is working fine with my credit card. I've not tried debit card. Only thing that is an issue is that you get the offers for hong Kong and you can't change that. Android pay works ad standard as well.
Hong Kong version will have google play working as standard, only Chinese phones don't have google play as standard

Hello, I have a note 5 model SM-N920I I purchased from a regional carrier here in the USA, my issue is the Amazon music app will not work on it. I believe this is due to region coding of this model being outside the USA. If this is the cause of this issue, does anyone know how I can go about getting the region set to the USA? or any ideas how to get the Amazon music app to work? I have already contacted Amazon about this issue and they "sent it to there engineer's" but never followed up after. Thank you

I bought my SM-N920I from a seller on Amazon, I have AT&T service and the app that I downloaded from the play store works just fine for me. Do you get any kind of popup messages indicating any issues with the app?
I was planning on importing a few P30 Pro's from China to the US. Have a cousin who sells phones over there on commission and was planning to help her out.
Will there be any problems with the Chinese version in the US? I assume I can load a google play store APK. I am using T-Mobile for my provider. I think the modem and bands for T-Mobile and the P30 would work too?

You won't be able to change launcher (well you can if you install a secondary launcher and remove the stock one via adb) and also you will be missing some lte bands.

I think the phone is missing band 66 and 71? Let me know if I am wrong. I know that band 71 isnt coming to my area in a long time. How do I check what band my area is using?

How much is it in China? L29?
so are there no problems with the China version such as plagued the Mate 20 pro? for example, google assistant and google pay work without problems on the china p30? is there another thread? I can't seem to find one

It'll be the same as there's no google support in china. Why don't you order from Malaysia or Singapore ? Its L29 global version and much cheaper. Pm me if you need some help.

Are you speaking from experience or just saying this because google play is not installed by default on phones and google is blocked in China? These were specific issues with the last phone.. google assistant and google pay problems.
With the Mate 20 pro, Huawei made it easy to install the play store (so that means services was also installed)

Playstore isn't an issue. Framework already comes pre-installed. You just need to install the apk however most sellers already do this for you. Almost all china models comes with google framework pre-installed now. In regards of the voice assistant when you press the power button, that i'm not sure if you'll be able to set google assistant. Main issue will be the obvious chinese recovery menu and a few bloatware and the ability to not change the launcher. You can get the launcher changed by installing a secondary launcher and debloating the stock one via adb. China version won't pass safetynet too.
With Chinese Rom you will get Chinese bloatware as which can be partially deleted from the face of it, and also some no delectable apps like Huawei voice assistant and browser, and you will spot some Chinese font here and there like contacts apps bringing up Chinese yellow book contacts.

I have Galaxy watch 5 pro. I bought it in Slovenia.
Since 15.11.2022 Slovenia is supported by google pay. On my Samsung galaxy S21 Ultra I have no problem using it. Everything is working OK.
BUT on my watch, there is and option to download Gpay, but after a few hours I cant use it anymore. When I open gpay on watch there is a sign that this app is not supported in this region yet...
If I remove it and install it again it works for a few hours...then again error.
What could be the problem? Lots of other people in Slovenia have same problem.
