Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that the Red Ninja theme for the Droid Bionic seems to work just fine on the Droid 3 as well.
Info on my phone before I flashed it.
-Monster Rom v1.1i
-ICS Theme
-Go Launcher
I haven't tested the stock launcher, however, but so far so good. One problem it has is Swype force closes for me. But I either use the normal keyboard or SwiftKey so not a problem for me.

Swype force closes for me too, do you use the stock swype or the beta installer? I used the beta installer so I could theme, and I can't get it to work.
Any one else?

Swype was broken in that version of monster, should work fine now in 1.2

Tired this theme over the top of Dark Droid .9441 using Go Launcher and I got a force close on Swype and on Music. So it theme not just the rom you were using.
I flashed it over steel droid 2 and 3, swype didn't work with either

Great theme, I love red!
BTW I didn't check swype, but I guess I don't need it as I love to type on the hardware keyboard.

The music FC is probably because I replaced the music apps with the new ICS music app.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
Yeah after reinstalling the music app then that fc stopped.

As what the title said, what keyboard are you guys using ?
I'm currently thinking to make a new theme, be it 2.3 or cm7.
And I would like my theme blend in your keyboard as well.
So please leave a reply on what keyboard are you using.
Thanks.
SwiftKey 3 ofc! Best keyboard ever!

I am currently on miui and i switch between stock gb and swiftkey but i would really love to use the lg Stock Keyboard. I extracted the apk and put it in the app folder but i got force close. Does anyone know how to use it?

Using Go keyboard as well.....free and perfect....I would say give it a try before buying Swift

I'm using Swype BETA. beta.swype.com - REALLY good. But I'll give a try on the swype mode of GO Keyboard.
I'm on smart keyboard. It's the most customizable one, it can work just as you like.

I am really happy with Swiftkey 3
SwiftKey 3 is great. Love it.

So as of now, its SwiftKey3 > Go Keyboard > Smart Keyboard
HTC_ime
I use the LG keyboard, I like it.
The 'stock' CM9 Keyboard, simple but great
Smart keyboard, the best kb on android
Inviato dal mio iPad con Tapatalk HD
Swiftkey, the best keyboard so far:laugh:
If you're smart, use SmartKeyboard.

I have tried few keyboards, but at the end, always returning to stock Lg keyboard. Is it the best or is it the matter of habit, I don`t know, to me it is enough good .
Swiftkey 3 oh yeahh
I use Swype. Have tried others for a short time but always return to Swype

Hi all,
why suddenly when I downloaded an update from Apex launcher,
it automatically crashed when I want to open the launcher after that?
Any solution?
or is there any better launcher?
Download the latest apex beta 6
No problems with it
Or, clear its data
Sent from my HTC Incredible S
Clearing data did not work for me.
Downloading beta version from official url fixed my issue for now on my HTC One X:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1452663
Okay confirmed on my N7 that the new 'stable' version crashes on startup, can't get into the launcher itself
Installed the latest beta 6 and working flawlessly
Sent from my Nexus 7
I have just had the same issue. Updated from Play store and it crashed. Thank God I had a backup to load! Is it worth while getting the beta 6 or staying where I am

Go Launcher EX is much better than Apex.

Imo go launcher is a GB launcher, it just looks GB and doesn't have the holo look of the ICS based launchers

okay, i had my iphone4s for a few years, and the keyboard was GREAT. the keyboard on my new htc one is decent, but it doesnt seem as accurate and sensitive. maybe its just cause its the stock keyboard? is there a better keyboard out there, or are they pretty much all the same?
I'm using swift key
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
Stock android 4.2 keyboard. It has swype like features, but when you want to type instead of swyping it is very accurate
Swiftkey....hands down
Try Kii keyboard from the market just started using it and it's great of course my opinion

SwiftKey

It comes down to personal preference. The aosp keyboard and swiftkey seem to be the most popular. I own swiftkey but I prefer using the aosp keyboard.
I use to be a huge fan of swype now all I use is SwiftKey.
Swype makes life so easy. Cut, paste, select all, capitalize etc.. can be done in a second. Can also text and drive with one hand accurately!

Definitely SwiftKey

I have always been happy with smart keyboard and SwiftKey. I have been using the stock HTC keyboard and I think it's great since they have a Smile key now.
I also own Swiftkey but actually now prefer the stock keyboard.

As someone coming from an iphone, I tried them all, sense, jb, swype, swiftkey, kii, etc.
The closest you'll get is thumb keyboard 4 after a few tweaks.
Darn right SwiftKey, especially now with the flow action
Sent from my HTCONE
I've been using thumb keyboard 4 for awhile now....I'd probably be happy w/ the stock keyboard if it had a autospace
I'm using Swype. Every time I try to use a different keyboard I go back to Swype in a few days.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
SwiftKey here. The flow doesn't always work as good as I'd like, but the predictive text saves me a lot of time. Always end up back on it and worth the money imo.
SwiftKey or Stock JB Keyboard from Android. HTC keyboard is okay, but can't beat the two reference... IMO.
I'm using SwiftKey currently.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
The general consensus in the Android community is that SwiftKey is the best keyboard in the land, but I'm a Swype fanatic myself. I tried SwiftKey flow and it just wasn't as good imo, but ymmv.
Swiftkey, absolutely love the blue neon theme.
I am using ginger keyboard right now and I am curious about what other quality keyboards are out there. If y'all could help me find a new one with numbers on the main keyboard and has emojis, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
GO keyboard.

Super SwiftKey, tons of themes!
I've tried a bunch but always go back to Google Keyboard.
I'll admit, I don't like the sounds that Google Keyboard has, so thankfully with root that can be changed lol

Stock. It types and swypes, which is what a keyboard should do. Not sure what makes a keyboard better than another.

I 2nd this. The somewhat new 1#3 keyboard he released is the best KB I've used.
