I had bought an LG watch urbane about 4 months ago..
Had no problems with , did not do anything to the softwar. Yesterday after I took out from the charger , the watch turned off. I on back & it wouldn't pass the the LG logo.
I factory reset and put in charger , all went fine for a while.. Then now the whole screen become full orange colour??.
The touch screen works as it went in to the normal watchface I had & switched off again..

Hey to everybody,
some days ago I bought a new battery for my x1 from ebay/HongKong.
The x1 worked for some hours with the new battery but then suddenly went off while I was speaking on the phone. So I put my old original accu in, switched on the device and suddenly the screen began to flicker. So I switched it off and on again but the flickering wont stop. I did this approx five times and finally the flickering was gone. As soon as I put in the new battery again the device worked normally until I went off again and I switched to the original accu. Then the flickering began again.
Has anyone an idea why the screen flickers when switching the accus from new-HongKong to old original one?
What battery do you use? An ebay-link or name would be nice.
Thanks and greetings from Germany.
Potentially it means your old battery is on the way out and simply doesn't have enough power to get the screen going properly, as well as the fact your new battery is a Chinese crap.
For batteries and flash, don't buy from wholesale chinese sites like dealextreme and so on.
Hello,
2 weeks ago, I jumped into a swimming pool with my LG Urbane watch. After swimming about 20 meters, I realized I was still wearing it and I took it off, however damage was already done and the watch didn't work anymore. After drying (about 2 days later), the watch worked again like before.
After 3 days without any issues (charging overnight and using it during the day) the Android wear 2.0 update arrived and was automatically installed. After reboot, I selected to copy the Google account from my phone but then the watch hung at "Continue setup on phone", while my phone didn't mention anything. I searched online and tried to follow the advice to restart both my phone and the watch. Not sure how to restart the watch (the screen didn't respond at all), I pushed the power button for about 10 seconds. The watch vibrated and the screen turned black. As of that moment, the watch can no longer be switched on. I tried pushing the power button from a couple of seconds to longer than a minute, but nothing happens. Putting it in the charger also triggers no reaction whatsoever.
Since the watch had been working for a couple of days after the water damage, I'm not really sure if it is related to it.
Any ideas how to fix this issue? (I already tried opening it and detach/reattach all connectors to the watches motherboard, but no reaction at all).
Thanks in advance
Hi, I decided to turn on my urbane 1st gen after 3 months. I used it for an entire day just fine, but the next day it wouldn’t stay on out of the cradle.
I did a factory reset but the problem persisted. Then I did a factory reset from the bootloader. I got the first time setup twice but now the watch won’t even turn on when sitting on the cradle.
Very rarely the LG logo appears but it shuts down quickly after. The computer does not recognize the watch at all. I tested the usb cable with my phone and it worked fine.
I’m thinking about replacing the battery, but I would like to know if there are others solutions for this problem I can try first. Thanks in advance.
I had the same problem.
One day it worked okay the next it stopped.
It only booted when it was on the cradle, but as soon I took it off it would go off.
I fixed it by buying a new battery and now it works again.
I payed around € 8 for the battery
Most probably needs a battery replacement. Same was happening with mine. Replaced and works normally so far..
Ok, I'm on my 3rd G Watch R (been a long user now) got my first in 2015, replaced the battery in that a year later and a year after that it got wet (I killed the seal when changing battery) and fried either the screen or the motherboard (works fine but screen is washed out and mostly red) so picked up another two as a job lot of spares or repair (was intending to use the screen or mobo) and both worked fine so used one and sold the other.
Now my working one turned off and wouldn't turn on so I assumed battery was flat (was still getting 1.5 days battery), popped it on dock and it vibrated when I held the power button.
Left it on charge for an hour and it got REALLY hot and wouldn't do anything when I took it off dock.
Let it cool and tried again, vibrated but nothing else, completely black screen.
What does everyone recon? Dead board, screen or battery?
Can't dismantle it as all my small tools are at work and I'm working from home indefinitely.
Hey guys, I've got my hands on google Glass and when I first turned them they were low on battery but after it booted up I saw the time and thought it's working, so I let them charge, they charged for like 30 minutes and when I booted them up I saw the logo and then just blank screen and weird noises, I tried leaving them on charge for like 8 hours and I tried hard restart nothing worked, is there any other solution ?
