Hello, i have a asus me400c that fall and the touchscreen crack and stop working. I buy a new one on ebay (same model and reference) but the touchscreen dont work. I already replace the new touchscreen 3 times but same problem. i dont know if is a driver problem or something.
is possible to reset the me400c without the touchscreen working?

Few days back i had a problem of touchscreen not responding on my tytn2 and with help of this forum i managed (after few hard resets) it worked....now again it stopped responding....i suspect this could be a hardware issue (loose or broken flat cable connection,..) Before i go ahead and buy a new touchscreen i want to confirm from the gurus on this forum ..is there anyway to confirm that the touchscreen issue is hardware and not software...or viceversa.

Edited : The problem ws traced to a connection cable betwen the LCD and the board. It was replaced and now th phone is working fine.

I have a big problem! My Diamond do not work anymore. I have used a rom for some weeks and by now, the touchscreen doesen't work. But why? Today, I was wondering, that the TouchFlow 3D got problems. When I use the touchscreen, I couldn't use the touchflow. Everytime, it scrolls the clock down and up (like using the sense). the only way was to use the hard buttons.
Then I decided to make a hard reset. and now, its not possible to get through the touch calibration screen. nothing will happen. what can i do?
please help me!

I am experiencing the same problem with my diamond!
and I have read in another thread that it could be due to malfunction of the digitizer installed on top of the lcd screen

so I have decided to order a brand new LCD+digitizer kit from ebay and try to get this fixed my own

recently my black got broken and i buy a replacement digitizer on ebay
but ever since then the soft keys, dont work, i tried to reassemble it flash different kernel and roms, flash kdz from stock, nothing worked, so i match the old digitizer to the new one and i think they are diferent, maybe a drivers/modules problem? idk its really strange cause the rest of the touchscreen works remarcably well, and the other problem is the proximity sensor it doesnt work, when i test it via 3845*#970# its said fail, and i cant calibrate it, ive tried to make pressure like i saw a youtube video, nothing worked,

Probably its a faulty touch, mine have a bad quality sometimes i have to reboot the phone twice to touch start working.

Maybe the cable that connects touch to the mainboard or the touch-foil thing (that one with the grey lines) became torn (happened to me when I opened my phone not carefully and put force on the cable (i think it's called flatflex) by pulling out a piece that was under it without removing the cable first).

Did you changed to original one? After my screen broke I change touch three times. First two times touch didnt function properly (cheap chinese touch). Than I bought original touch with screen (from broken SP only with one small scracht for about 8 EUR) Work like a new.
I just replaced the broken display from my Zenfone 8 with a Display + chassis pack from Asus (which includes a new fingerprint scanner as it's not accessible), and everything works fine except for the fingerprint scanner. I've seen someone had the same problem on the official Asus forum but his problem wasn't solved.
Obviously Asus seems to software-lock any swapped fingerprint scanner, including the ones they sell themselves. Do you have any ideas on how to bypass this lock or make them unlock it? Did anyone have the same issue and found a solution?

Hi, I have exactly same issue. Already written to my Chinese seller of screen replacement (it was supposed to be original) for help, but it seems one solution could be factory reset. Let me know if you've already tried it and if yes if it works ? I will come back as soon as Chinese let me know something...

Factory reset doesn't solve anything unfortunately, it need to be recalibrated
Yes, my investigation led me to the same point, I've already opened thread with Asus Support, finally ending with sending them phone. They haven't told me that they are going to calibrate, but I suppose they are going to do this finally. Have you passed this procedure or you gave up and you're using phone w/o fingerprint reader ?
So I'm after discussion with ASUS official service, they proposed to diagnose my phone and finally refused to calibrate claming that my LCD is not original... I suppose it is thier policy to "seal" spare parts distribution channels... Generally no hope for someone who bought part on AliExpress...
